    Teenytiny but very friendly!

What a nice staff! They are always patient, helpful, and good humored. Every time I have visited this location the women behind the counter are teaching me new tricks on how to ship gifts the least expensive way to my grandchildren, who now live in another state (insert very sad face here, but I love Oregon). Parking is free and right out front. I promise I will fill out their online questionnaire to ensure this location!!!

This business is NOT A POST OFFICE. Notice the Google search result says "united states postal…read moreservice approved" rather than post office. Also look at Google reviews; there are mony more than Yelp and are MUCH lower. TIP: I suggest getting a price quote BEFORE you give them all your personal information: address, phone, etc. This is absolutely possible, don't listen if they tell you otherwise. All they need is the destination address. The sales person will begin their interaction with you by starting a profile which will take some time. Then you will get a very expensive quote for what you're trying to ship. This is called the "Sunk Cost Fallacy" and it is a sales tactic based on the idea that if a potential customer has invested time in a transaction they will choose to participate in the sale even though the price is unreasonable because they have now invested so much time. So after you're waited in a long line and then filled out a profile you ask yourself, "Do I really want to drive to a cheaper place after all of this, or just have this done?" I wanted to mail a 194 page paperback book. After spending time starting a profile, which took quite a few minutes, I was quoted $11.75. This book cost $4.47 to mail at USPS. Because I am not a tool I decided to spend more time on this task rather than bend over and take it. I give two starts only because the employee was very nice (but slow). While I have no complaints about a slow employee, I know most people would prefer someone who doesn't leave you wondering if he has fallen asleep. This business is open on Saturdays, when the nearby post office is not. I believe this is the only reason a person would mail a package here. Or you're a guy who just loves to throw money away.

Great service! Been coming here for 20 years for most of my shipping and postal needs and I have…read morealways received friendly, helpful and efficient service. At first I thought something was wrong because the employees are happy, they smile, they engage in conversation, and most important, they hustle! Not adjectives typically used to describe USP workers. Yes, sometimes there is a long line especially during lunch hour, between 11-1, but it moves quickly. I know when I get to the front of the line, if I have questions they will give me the attention and info I need, like which is the least expensive way to ship a package. There is a long, high table that comes in super handy when filling out forms or finishing packing up a box. They have supplies there that you can purchase and also a small assortment of greeting cards. On Saturdays they are opened until 2pm which comes in handy when you have no time to get here during the week. Plenty of parking on the street. And right next door is a deli that makes delicious sandwiches. The only downside is they don't take credit cards and that is a big downside so I am deducting a star. I haven't carried cash in years! Most people don't. Luckily I keep a bill in my wallet for emergencies. When I don't have a bill, I stop at the ATM at US Bank across the street first. Again, not convenient. Other than that, no complaints at all.

I was trying to print off 18 copies of a PDF Document for a Super Bowl Party I'm hosting, and I was told to email the document to their email. I do that, and it comes back up as an "Error." So, I kindly ask the lady working at the front (who was incredibly rude btw) for help, and she said, "oh you're suppose to get an email back saying it was delivered." So, I check and it still says "error" and I show her and she goes, "oh, that's never happened before." and proceeded to look at me like I had 3 heads. Uhm, ok. So then she said, "you can send from a different email." And of course, that didn't work. So I proceeded to ask for help, and she completely ignored me. The other man working did the same too. So, she didn't say sorry or nothing. She just added that never happens. Uhm I'm not technically challenged like she might be, so I know that is bull sh*t. Never ever ever COME HERE again. I swear, UPS Workers are always rude to everyone anyways. What a JOKE. Now I'm walking 20 min away to The Post Office. Thanks for nothing, UPS!

The attendant will take the package and provide a receipt or you can use the easy kiosk for your transaction. Of course they offer all of the UPS services in addition to accepting the prepaid labels. Along the wall they have all the packing supplies you need - and even carry some designer bubble padded envelopes that are quite pretty, although I wouldn't want it sitting in someone's porch drawing attention. The staff was super friendly, welcomed me in, handled my transaction, and thanked me for stopping in. Since SW 5th is a one way street and a bus route, parking is only on the east side of the street. Just walk up to crosswalk at light to safely cross street, and the UPS store is right there, behind the bus stop.
