My neighbors drag furniture and slam drawers well into the wee hours of the morning EVERY night! So, I called 311 which forwarded my complaint to the 105th Precinct. The officers (a man and a woman) came by and were very courteous and sympathetic towards me. They made me feel like my concerns were valid and offered good advice for how to proceed in the future. During such a difficult time due to Corona I am grateful to have officers that care about the community while risking their own precious health and lives. I was so distressed (almost to the point o I did not make note of their names, but if they read this, THANK YOU! Update: 7/17/20 Had to call the police again unfortunately due to my neighbors making noise. Police officer Sabella came with his partner and spoke to them. It has been super quiet since. Officer Sabella and his partner (sorry, forgot his name) were really helpful and made a world of difference for me! I truly appreciate them both! read more

I called 311 to complain about a car parked in front of my house for 4days . told her I go to PT AND MD once a week an it's easier for me to get into cars because I'm handicapped. I never said anything about a stolen car .matter a fact I told her thecar looks new. I know all my neighbors an they never ever park in front because of my handicapped. no sooner I hang up I get a voi from 105th about the report I called in. he starts off by telling me he knows the ca is not stolen because he saw it on a camera on jama ave. I'm 74 years old not a kid. I've had occasion to utilize the services of the 105 twice in the past couple of years. On both occasions the officers responded in a timely manner, were helpful and professional, and resolved the situation without hassle or delay. There seems to be a discrepancy between the quality of personnel working within the precinct and the street cops, so I am at this time upgrading my appraisal of the 105 by one star. Worst precinct. They're gaslighting, rude, and plain don't care. I'm tired of getting no help. They don't answer the phone. I called the 107th, call picked up first ring. I've walked over, stood there calling while they're chatting and gone up to the door and said are you going to pick that up. I think NY is passing a gun law and I'm glad bc I really don't want them at my house. I used to live in the 107th, quality precinct. I guess they send all the people to the 105th as punishment. They clearly hate their jobs. I really do believe we need to get rid of government police and use our taxes for bids for private companies. Too much corruption, not enough humanity. So over dealing with this precinct. I told my councilman to get real whenever she says call the 105th. I say I wouldn't be calling you of they actually did the work. They all get excited when someone gets shot, you see like 20 cars racing with their lights on like they just won the loterry. But they hate the daily in and out of life. Well guess what, the majority of life is mundane. It's what you signed up for. And no I don't want to hear the repetitive crap at the local meeting. ZERO STARS....I called for a hit and run and it's been 5 hours of waiting and no one has shown up. Called back three times and they are quick to rush you off the phone and tell you someone is on their way when really no one showed. Then the last time I called back the lady was agitated and asked if she should cancel them coming out smh. They are very unprofessional and inconsiderate. We have lives and are just as busy as they are, if they are even doing anything at all based on these reviews. read more

It's a disgrace to have them as the only source to report or even depend to have them solve an issue/ accident. Yes I do believe we are grateful to have them but they need to be more on hands. My family is disappointed to say the least, they have fail to find an answer and even give us other sources if they are not willing to help. I agree with one of thecomment they are sleeping on the job when they should be working. The time I went there, I was standing for more than 40 mins standing there hearing them complain about how hangover they were. I think an officer that had nothing to do with the front desk asked me if I needed help. Finally. Now, even to get simple paper work they take their time. Shouldn't everything be right there ? Also, when I reported a break in my car , the officer asked me if I was the one who did it. Are you serious? Not only did this happen to me one, twice, but three times. This is ludicrous. Recently an accident was reported , and all they can say is they can't do much. I'm sure if it happened to them, they would expect an answer . Had an accident in March, after waiting 3 hours for them to show up. The officer never wrote up a accident report. My insurance company has been asking it for and they have been given the run around. I then tried to retrieve and was told no report with my information was filed. Horrible officers, poor work ethic, endangering lives by lack of timely response. I wish I could give them zero stars. read more

I called yesterday to report someone attempting to come in my house, the person came at my wife violently and she had to run back inside with our dog, the guy had some kind of mental problem and said he lived there, called the police 3 times in an Hr no one came or called back, our lives was put in danger and nobody responded what a waste. read more

If i could i would give this place a negative rating, they aren't even worth 1 star. The freaking front desk sleeps on the job! I went in to retrieve a police report on a car accident and I'm waiting and waiting and i get up to see what's taking so long and this woman has her head on her keyboard snoring away! This is where my tax money goes?!? For them to sleep on the job instead of helping us? I mean seriously these people are useless, they just sit there instead of doing their jobs, the other front desk took forever to get her behind out of her damn chair, I'm seriously thinking about making a formal complaint to the head of this place!
