Great experience with2 officers who visited me at home after I reported theft of my wallet and…read moredriver's license. Although not an emergency, they arrived quickly and took my statement. Wish I remembered to take their names so I could write to the CO. They loved my dog too! Thanks Officers!

I used to have 99 problems and the police weren't one. Then I got arrested 10 times in Flushing…read more(for Flushing... people's heads in toilet bowls... I was young, I'm not ashamed), and now I have 109 problems. 10 of which are bad arrests. OK I can't back that up, but I can back this up (pdp). I've never had any truly awful experiences with these cops like the ones over in Jackson Heights but I'll tell you what. I have never had anything but nasty vibes from them. I've been loudly, rudely honked at (a couple of times) and yelled at out of car windows just for crossing the street legally (once). And illegally (once). But like, really. Jaywalking. Okay. And a couple of times when we actually needed some help, they were not so friendly. One time he was texting or something on his cellphone and seemed furious that we'd interrupted him. I actually waited a few seconds until he looked like he was done, but still. Thanks bro. I guess cops aren't happy about being direction-providers, but you could just say you're not sure and be nice about it dude. I'm not even remotely surprised that they have such low ratings. And the way in which these particular cops drive around Flushing as if they're trying to mow down as many mere mortals as possible is pretty sick and not in a good way. Police in America have a lot of issues. The militarisation and disconnection from the community is insane. You would hope that in New York City it was a little different but if the Flushing cops are anything to go by it it's really not. I'm hoping to someday start a proper discourse between the community and the police, as I was part of when I lived in England, but it's very different here. The militarisation of the police makes everything much harder. Massive nationwide reform is needed.

There were many tables available for different colleges, law enforcement, and other apprenticeship opportunities like with GOOGLE! The building itself is beautiful and always kept clean. If you have to attend here make sure to bring a JACKET/ SWEATER! The facility gets extremely COLD!

Great place to go for a workout and a snack. And plenty of free parking!…read more Staff was generally friendly. There was a variety of hot and cold food at reasonable prices in the cafeteria. All the staff members in grey shirts salute you and call you sir when you walk by. They don't seem to do any work though. Just whole bunches of them standing around looking like robots, all staring in the same direction. Weird. But they're harmless if you leave them alone. And they seem to have gotten chubbier over the years...maybe having a nice cafeteria in your work place isn't a great thing... The building itself is ginormous and is very impressive looking. Very clean. But, the entry and exit doors are always broken, allowing the wind to blow right through the complex, completely negating any benefits of a "green" building. Who designed these doors?? The gym is top notch. Much better than my basement. Gym staff all look fit and seem to know what they're talking about. I highly recommend patronizing this place if you have the right credentials, even though they don't really want or need your business. I'd give it 5 stars. But we all know there's plenty of progress to be made. As soon as you call yourself #1, you're done making improvements. That goes for our country as well. Let's get to work!

This post office is always a shitshow. Though not as bad as some of the ones I have experienced in…read morethe Bronx. There is always a huge line and only a few windows open. The line to pick up packages can be very chaotic with no system whatsoever in place. It's come to the point where I would get Amazon packages sent to the locker at the 711 instead of to my address and risking it being sent through the post office and then having to go pick it up. One thing that is really not the post office fault is that there are a lot of people sending packages overseas so it's a bit more time consuming to process. I wish they would have express counter for package drop offs like UPS and Fedex has. I'm sure there are a lot of people who just want to drop off a prepaid package and end up in line as the people who need more service.

Updating this review once again - PLEASE DON'T TRUST ANYONE AT THIS LOCATION WITH YOUR MAIL!!!…read moreTHESE PEOPLE ARE CORRUPT!!!! I Recently had a package stolen by one of their carriers and his management has done nothing but cover it up the entire time (supervisor Agnieszka Conte). She was extremely unprofessional during our conversation and made it abundantly clear nothing was ever going to be done (inspite of being notified of the felony). There were also other people at their office who had recently had mail marked as delivered, but never received. This a very serious situation and I'm doing everything I can to warn people. This location is a cover for ongoing crimes. Shut it down!!!!
