Got punched and hard. Hurt/s! Regal Cinemas Corporate Dropped the Ball With Terrible Camera Footage -- now I can't get justice. Detective Bajnuth tried so I gave 5 Stars--though the criminals form of payment was never investigated nor if whether they were a Regal Unlimited Member to track them down. Detective Bajnuth was quick, nice and helpful. I appreciate him. Thank You Detective Bajnuth. 5 Stars! The Girl in the Shower Cap Punched Me And Her Male Friend In the Black Hood Laughed With Her. They were NOt part of my movie and came into my theater according to other footage. 3rd person in the middle, I dont know. Regal Cinemas These Days Isn't Safe in New York City. Be Careful. Go With Someone You Trust, Put Your Phone In Your Zipped Pocket, And At Least One Of You Has To Be Awake. Inconsiderate towards victims of domestic violence . Calls passed around when you inquire on badge numbers and information on the people who respond to your call. They will absolutely attempt to protect each other and will victim shame. You are unable to get any help. Then cases don't stand in court . Last case with evidence was thrown out because the officers "lost"the evidence . They should be investigated themselves . read more

Unfortunately filing a police report is not that easy in NYC . In New York different police precincts cover different areas/jurisdictions . So if an incident happens to you in one area and you walk to the nearest police station they may tell you it's not their jurisdiction and you have to walk to another station. This may be confusing for out-of-town people . Also you still can't file online reports - you gotta go in person and it's going to take AT LEAST 30 minutes if not an hour . Good luck . read more

Worst Service Ever! Do I need to say more? After being manhandled by 8 burly undercover agents for smoking half a joint in the park, I was told my wait would only be 20 minutes or so. 20 minutes after driving around in circles for 2 hours, 20 minutes after waiting an hour for the mug shot computer to re-boot. 20 minutes after waiting 3 hours for Albany to see if we were escaped killers, 20 minutes after..... Actual wait time: 6 hrs Things that need improving: The main computer that takes the mug shots was totally a late 90's Dell! LAME The only thing positive I can say is that the furniture was naturally stained wood. Which had a nice, bolted in the wall industrial feel. Otherwise.. Do Not Go Here. There are a lot of better places to go after smoking weed. read more

NYPD 7th Precinct - ouch! - Police Departments Near Me - Manhattan, New York

A couple of months ago I got my purse stolen with a bunch of my credit cards. The guy who stole it immediately started using all of them at an Apple store, cvs, and bodegas. He accumulated over 1k in purchases which constitutes as grand larceny. I was so angry and came to this precinct to report it. So I walk in there write up a report not expecting anyone to care. They walk me up the stairs to an office that I kid you not made me feel like I was walking into an episode of Law & Order. To top it all off I Detective Stiller was the one assigned to my case. He looks like he can be on Law & Order lol! He asked me questions and then I went home. He proactively kept me to date on whether they caught the guy. Well today Feb 6, 2020 they caught him! This is awesome. Shout out to Detective Stiller - thank you for your hard work and dedication to this case! read more

Terrible service, an unprofessional officer. Officer Reyes acted so unprofessional when I came to the precinct to file a report. Burglaries and break ins happen more often in part because officers such as Reyes don't know how to work properly so reports don't get filed, burglars and criminals know that the police are a joke so they keep doing what they are doing. I have previously filed a report at least 3 times, they never found them even though there were three cameras where the burglaries took place. They never find them. Useless. But still sometimes you are hopeful that they may find them and want to prevent others from getting robbed, but officers like Reyes don't give a rats ass on what the issue is, so bad things keep continuing to happen. Filing a police report is that hard? Come on. I never was a supporter of defund the police, but now I'm thinking that makes sense, why the hell they shouldn't be if their attitude is terrible and have no intentions to work with people? read more

Besides the fact that I was handcuffed for 12 hours because I decided not to cooperate. I'm writing this review to let people know the phone that is in the holding cell area yeah it's not exactly working so don't think just because they let you use it you're actually getting through to anyone. The people that work here are also pretty useless 13 hours for a prisoner transport to Central bookings...thanks a lot read more

Calling here is generally on the positive side. The first time, the lady answering was very nice and helped direct me well on the phone. The second time was a bit choppy. The girl sounded a bit curt (I could even hear her eyes roll) but still was able to answer the questions I posed to her. The police officer did not finish my report yet, so the first lady told me to call his office number and ask him to bring it to the front desk. I did. He's a busy guy and so it took a few times to reach him but when I did reach him, he was actually extremely polite. When I came to pick up my report, the front desk lady was really nice. She was handling more than one person's requests at once, but still she maintained her good nature and friendly face. This Precinct really put their best foot forward. Being in the professional service industry and a governmental professional service at that is extremely hard. I appreciate their strong efforts in providing at least this level of courteous behavior. When I called to report that someone hacked into my account that contained private photos of me from when I was a minor, the officer I spoke to basically made me feel like an idiot for even attempting to report that someone possessed private photos of me from when I was a underaged. The officer then thought she hung up the phone but didn't actually and I overheard her talking to another police officer saying that she didn't even know what I was talking about and that she didn't care. Police officers SHOULD care and it is absolutely disgraceful that our NYPD have this kind of attitude. read more

w.r.t. detective squad: very bro-ey. as reluctant guest, was disappointed by the lack of female representation. jail cells could use some cushioning. too many rock hard 90 degree angles. made it impossible to nap. no activities to pass the time. just my dark, dark thoughts. bad UX. grounds are reminiscent of a lower to mid middle class suburban public high school. very bricky. much linoleum. wasn't fond of the smells around me. could use some air freshening. might i suggest Lysol® Professional Disinfectant Spray, Crisp Linen Scent? handcuffs felt very sturdy. way heavier than the ones sitting in my bedroom drawer. 5/5 stars on that front. +1 star for working toilet and available toilet paper. few pairings suck more than a naked brown paper roll and having a vagina. owners: please unsubscribe/remove me from all your internal NYPD listings and platforms. thanks! read more

I called this precinct yesterday to get direction on how to handle a situation and was physically yelled at by this lady who answered the phone. Instead of giving direction she made me feel wrong asking for help, and told me to call 911. I thought this is who you would call in a time of need and after being harassed by a potential dangerous person in my retail store, I didn't think it was right to be yelled at because I was unsure of how to proceed with it. Next time I will call 911, but it would've been nice to have someone in my neighborhood have my back. read more

Level of attentiveness that makes you remember that some of the police are individuals who actually give a damn. (Could get friendlier receptionists, but I can't imagine what they have to deal with between crank phone calls, etc.) Once you get to the officers/detectives, even for something as hard to investigate as identity theft, they actually seem to want to help. I've came here twice (and a half) before. First time was to turn in a lost phone my father found on the streets. The front desk receptionist was nice and attentive. Got the job done and I was out. Second time was when I needed to report a stolen wallet and a female police officer took care of it. I was on my way up the stairs and she stopped me to asked if I needed something. I told her I wanted to report a stolen wallet so she told me to follow her. Very unprofessional about it and seemed like she hated her job. I was blamed for getting my wallet stolen and the woman seemed as if she didn't want to deal with me when she was the one that offered to help me. A male officer wanted to assist (and he seemed as if he would genuinely be nice about it) but she said she would handle it. She constantly scoffed at me when I was answering her questions. Yes she got the job handled, but don't ever blame the victim for a crime. Victim blaming is disgusting especially coming from an officer. Returned the next day to get my case number for a replacement ID at the DMV and the receptionist was very friendly in assisting me and I was out in a few minutes (which explains the half visit). read more

Mediocre service. No public restroom and no vending machines or other snack options. Desk cop was unfriendly. There were multiple roach traps in the lobby. I commend their proactive approach to pest control but question the conditions that led to such vermin infestations in the first place. read more
