This place is amazing. I always come to this restaurant for brunch whenever I'm in Mexico or nearby…read moreTJ, I love coming back and when I do I always make sure to get the chilaquiles I loveeee the ribeye chilaquiles, the ribeye is packed with flavor, the chilaquiles are well cooked and amazing salsa, the drink menu is perfect I always like having a good amount of options. The price for the food and the drinks is unbeatable for how good the food and drinks are. The service is spectacular they're always attentive and make sure everything is going just fine, as for the atmosphere and overall restaurant vibe it's very calm with a nice elegant feel to it even tho it's a small eating area, the presentation of food and drinks is amazing I love the theme they're going with, and not to mention you're also near by the beach I absolutely love this place and I always keep coming back, if you're looking for a lowkey brunch spot with amazing food, drinks, and service this is the spot. Don't skip it !!

Good: *Waiter and host was very courteous and professional…read moreand kind. *I like how they put the check inside a mini book of questions to ask Saint Michael. *The who we had was good the French toast was great. The omelette with frijoles and potatoes was great. *The mango mimosas were good. *The café de Olla was natural. It was average. *They gave you a piece of pumpkin bread before you eat while you're waiting for your food. *The restaurant was clean with a small Catholic feel to it. *Parking outside was OK. Bad: * Very small café not good for large group parties. * A bit more pricey for the quality of food and drinks. * They prefer USD dollars or card. Conclusions: Due to the great services we were provided by the waiter, and if we're ever back in La Playas for breakfast or brunch, we would go back to San Miguel restaurant. I will highly recommend you try it.

They have a smaller room with retro decor. Our waiter was Omar. He was very helpful and friendly We ordered a mushroom and ham only that came with 2 small blue berry waffles to split. The portions are huge. It came with a side of breakfast potatoes that were the best I've ever had. I'm not a big fan of breakfast potatoes but these were amazing. The blueberry waffles were also really good The omelette was a little watery, but the flavor was good and had lots of mushrooms. We both got iced tea and it tasted fresh brewed. The decor is super cute with lots of Easter decor everywhere. The food was good and responsibly priced We also ordered food to take home for dinner. My friend ordered our exact meal again. It was that good. I got the mile high club. The portions were huge. Lots of bacon and turkey, but could've used a bit more sauce. Came with a pickle.

You can get on the waitlist before you get there so that's a positive. We had a large party, but since they have indoor and outdoor seating, the number of parties ahead of us went down pretty quickly. It did take a while to get our orders placed took even longer to get our food. Unfortunately, one of the last orders that came out was for one of the kids which you figured would be one of the first. I ordered the chicken and churro waffle and oh my God the waffle was so good and it came out with a half a chicken. They charge more to add a specialty waffle but well worth it because your waffle was so good. It was super surprised on how much chicken they gave. Chicken was cooked perfectly with a crunchy skin. I checked with others and they also love their food. Just the downside was the wait. Also, after our food came, I waitresses kind of disappeared, so it was a while before we got on our waters filled and could request any additional things we needed for our orders. Fancy about the restaurant at all, it's located in the Kings Inn (motel) so kind of has the older diner/cafe vibes.

They had seating options inside and outside from couches to lounge on to vintage door table sets to do work at. Their menu consists of various hot/iced teas & coffees, pastries & other baked goods, waffles, acai bowls, and many more! Everything here is fairly priced compared to shops like these in the States. I'm not sure if it is on the higher end of the spectrum for Mexico though. I ordered the Nutella latte with almondmilk as a dairy-free option. It was a hot coffee drink which I thought was OKAY. It just tasted like regular coffee with a few dollops of nutella thrown in there that did not really mix or melt in well. It was not a bad drink, just thought it would have had a more Nutella taste to the entire thing. The real reason I gave this place five stars is for the Waffle con Fruta. It's presentation was beautiful and it tasted better than it looked! Definitely would recommend this place simply for this!

I order a chicken bagel sandwich and it was great. I got it to go and it came out in a nice little box with the sandwich tied up with a string. Was that necessary, no but the attention to detail was great and it made it look even cooler. I work down the street from here and it's starting to be my quick grab and go coffee shop. I will try their breakfast food next. Oh the one thing I didn't like but it's not a really big deal is, no WiFi.
