If you're vegan this will be heaven to you! We got the pizza and it was so freakin good. I'd definitely come back here again. Salad was basic but very interesting honey mustard dressing. Cucumber drink was a delight. Flan, not my favorite. The only thing I'd recommend is investing in eco friendly straws because their cups are VERY dirty and my cup had mold growing on the side of the plastic.

Chilequiles with egg and beans. So good !

You order downstairs from a limited menu and go upstairs to sit and eat. Meals are included with beverage and yogurt. Service was great. The lady downstairs that took our order was friendly and welcoming. Upstairs is a large area with natural light and music playing.

Vegan pastel de 3 leches! Delicious!

I was fortunate enough for my mom to surprise me with a vegan 3-leches cake from this bakery! She has brought other vegan pastries for me to try but the cake was definitely impressive! Sweet, but not overly sweet, moist, and delicious!! I cannot wait to visit this place in person!

Creamy pea soup with melon juice.

I love their set menu lunch special! It was my 2nd time there and their food is always so clean, healthy and tasty! Clearly everything is lovingly prepared! My 1st time meal was Chile Relleno. Omg! That was the bomb! You just tell at the register if you want vegan or vegetarian and you go upstairs and be served. Lunch starts from 12:30pm. Don't be fooled by the simple and plain look from outside. And do try their bakery for goodies for home!

AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE!!! Everyone was super nice. They have a bakery and grocery store when you enter the cafe. If you want to eat in the restaurant section you pay for the meal then eat upstairs. They have a great selection of pastries and everything is vegetarian or vegan. With the meal you can choose if you want vegan or non-vegan, they ask when you order. The meal came with cup of perfectly spiced bean soup the entree which was "Carne Asada" tacos side of grilled nopales radish and cucumbers, a cup of oat milk horchata, and dessert which was whipped cream topped with candied lime. It tasted like meringue pie topping. I was so full! And the price was great. This place is awesome!

    My breakfast!

This place has everything for vegans! They have a bakery, restaurant and also a store all in one place. Their bakery has vegan options like pan dulce! Mmm, how I've missed it depending on which day you go they also have slices of cake, too! The first day that I went it was for breakfast and they have a vegan menu and a vegetarian menu! I chose the vegan menu and it's was about $7 for a pre-fixed menu that consisted of bread, atole and you can choose either machaca or chilaquiles I choose both and coffee. I was a little hesitant to order because the machaca was made out of soy (they use a lot of soy here so it's not the best option if you are allergic or avoiding it!) but it was so good and not like the soy used in California! At least my body didn't react harshly to the soy like it does when I consume it in the states, lol! The second day I went it for dinner and I ordered the machaca burritos with some beans again because they are sooo good! The store downstairs has everything from vegan pancakes to cacao flower, agave, kombucha, vegan whole wheat tortillas de arrina! You have to check out if you're in Tijuana! I'm definitely coming back to try the rest of their food!

Excellent experience here, highly recommend a stop by. I went with my mom and grandmother, who both…read moredon't eat too much and we ordered one tasting menu, a pork dish, and the charred cabbage dish. Everything was awesome, so I'm glad we got the tasting menu to try many of the menu items. At the end, we had enough food that I had breakfast in the morning from the leftovers. The service was excellent, the staff were always on point to change your dishes and utensils at the right pacing, often refolded our napkins without us even noticing, the staff are knowledgeable in helping you choose what to order and importantly preventing you from ordering too much, which we almost did! Our waiter was awesome, I wish we caught his name. The only slight nit is that my water glass wasn't refilled frequently, but everything was already above and beyond my expectations. One tip I would suggest if you are going with a few people is to figure out which dishes are not on the tasting menu so that you can opt to order fewer tasting menu courses and instead order a few dishes not on the tasting menu. So many items stood out, it's hard to keep track. The many seafood dishes were awesome, but I particularly liked the oysters (with amazing added flavor), the scallop dish was excellent, the cucumber (aguachile) sashimi dish was amazing, the grilled cabbage had a delicious sauce of puréed cabbage, great sauce for the fish collar, and the sesame ice cream dessert was layered with awesome flavor and textures! If ordering a la carte, things that caught my eye but didn't live up to expectations were the duck tostada (I expected juicy duck breast, but it was some sort of fillamentous duck preparation). And of course the setting. I loved the communal dining experience as it was fun getting to know and chat with new people. The actual restaurant felt kind of magical...a sort of tribal Tulum vibe in the middle of the desert, with a lot of flame-lit and warm lighting tones. It was super cute to see cats roaming around outside the restaurant...and if you are so fortunate to go at night...the stars are breathtaking given how little light pollution is in the area. I think if you go during sunlight you may be able to walk around their garden a bit as well. Cocktails were good for US standards, average for Mexico standards. Walked out the door ordering 2 entrees, 1 tasting menu, and 1 cocktail paying $200 for 3 people (albeit 2 with smaller stomachs) and enough leftovers for a breakfast for 1 person. I love this place and would absolutely return and recommend!

Although the setting is attractive, we were seated outdoors with very little ventilation. The main issue was flies throughout the meal, landing on food and drinks, which made dining pretty uncomfortable. While the restaurant appears to aim for eco-friendly practices, the restrooms had a strong odor and did not feel well maintained. Service was another disappointment. Despite the busy atmosphere, the attention level felt mediocre. Ultimately, while the location has potential, the food quality and wine pairings did not feel aligned with the premium pricing. I'd recommend considering other local spots that offer a stronger overall dining experience

Our server who was also the Manager of the restaurant was sincere, genuine, & provided us with the most incredible service. Forgive me as i am not 100% certain his name was Alfredo (or Alberto; lo siento). The double cheeseburger was good, not exceptional. The texture & flavor; delicious. I'm not certain that with all the cheese, the type of bun used, & the "meat" combine well. Conclusion is that the entire experience of trying to eat it as if it was a "cheeseburger" didn't really happen well. Again, it was still good. It just became a fork & knife meal. The Italian sub be mindful is served hot. We did not know that (prolly our fault for not reading it). Nevertheless I can assure you it would not have stopped me from ordering it! IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!! It literally brought me back to a most incredible Italian sub that I used to order. O.M.G. It really was done right. The Cesar salad! Yes. Second best Cesar salad I've ever had. The dressing was incredible. I did forget to mention it was actually a "chicken" Cesar salad & the chicken was done exceptionally well! Side note: last time we were there we had sweet potato & regular fries, a cheese pizza, the chicken cheeseburger, & something else I can't remember at this time. We have almost tried the entire menu. One more trip over there & we will make it happen. Also, the cocktails are so tasty delicious. A significant amount of classic Mexican cocktails for your drinking pleasure. Oh yea, the kombucha too (& that's coming from someone who only liked Big Mountain Kombucha; until now). Thanks Team Gardeno. See you soon.
