For some context, I ordered an exhaust kit, and got a quote for them to install it, nothing bad…read morethere, but when they got the car in, they said they would have to build their own kit since the kit I provided didn't fit right, so they ended up doubling the price, the exhaust they had "built" runs literally right against the driveshaft on my car, so when it is on the lift, you can't spin the driveshaft, and if you go over any large bump that puts stress on the suspension, it rubs on the drive shaft, which isn't safe. Another thing I had discovered when having my car on the lift: they did not use their own pipe, every single piece of my provided exhaust kit was under the car, just kind of cut up and re-angled. So I got double charged for no reason, and basically a bad job done. Also the welds leak less than 2 months after getting the exhaust installed. So that's wonderful.

They just charged her 268.00 to quote her 9000.00 worth of things that needed fixed. And did nothing else. DO NOT send anyone into them that are not mechanic savvy in the slightest. They will take advantage of them!

The driver admitted he had not seen me and gave me his insurance information to repair the damage. His insurance provider, USAA reached out and gave me two auto and body business numbers to have the work done, I called and they told me to bring the truck in for an estimate. I went to the business and noticed there was one car there. The employee came out and evaluated the damage, giving me an estimate. I didn't feel comfortable with this place so I decided to look them up on YELP. They had no reviews and just by seeing that there was only one car there I decided to get another estimate with Idaho Collision. I looked up Idaho Collision and they had 5 reviews...not much BUT they were all good reviews. I guess I am just use to Southern California, we make sure to do reviews, so that others can make wise decisions. When I arrived at Idaho Collision, the owner came out and gave us an estimate. His estimate was a little higher then the business we had been sent to but the difference was Idaho Collision was going to completely replace the panel with a new one and the other place was going to bondo the panel. I was sooo happy with his work and the final result. I would highly recommend this business for any kind of auto repair. I do not have pictures of the finished work. I was so happy with the results, I forgot to take pictures. I will upload them when I get back to the house.

I have to say that the father and son team of Precision Automotive of Twin Falls, Idaho is as good…read moreas they get. They are honest and hard-working. Larry (father) and Cody (son) are the owners of Precision Automotive of Twin Falls, Idaho. I needed a new water pump for my elderly Buick (just a 17 year old car). Cody immediately scheduled for the very next morning for that very important part to be replaced. Other mechanics that I went to said that the wait could be as much as one week. Mind you, a water pump is responsible for cooling the engine with coolant. A faulty water pump could mean that your engine will overheat and cause extensive engine damage. Just for fun, I called to other mechanics and dealerships for price comparisons to get this important car part replaced and installed. Precision Automotive replaced and installed for $70 less than a competing mechanics estimate and a fully $200 less than Rob Green Automotive's estimate.(Yes, Rob Green Automotive said that it would cost $200 more for the work than what I was charged by Precision Automotive. How do they get away with that??) Anyhow, I haven't gotten to the good part yet. Not only did I save a significant amount of money, my car was repaired in way less amount of time than was estimated. They thought that I might not get my car back until about two o'clock that afternoon (which was a reasonable amount of time), but instead I got my car back and repaired by 11:30 that morning. (I had dropped my car off just before 9:00 o'clock that same morning.) You can imagine my astonishment when Larry (the owner) told me that the job had already been completed and the car was ready to be picked up. My jaw dropped in astonishment. I'm used to mechanics saying that the job will be completed at a certain time, but then it is hours before the job is actually completed. I expected the same thing with Precision Automotive, but boy, was I wrong. Also, I had been given a written estimate of the amount for the work to be done. Instead, the amount that I had to pay came in at a full twenty dollars less than the original estimate. My jaw dropped again. This never happens. If anything, the amount due is usually higher than the original estimate. Suffice it to say, I give Precision Automotive of Twin Falls, Idaho a full five-star rating. I would recommend this auto shop to any of my friends or anybody who just needs a good auto mechanic shop to go to in the Magic Valley.
