I wouldn't consider taking your vehicle to Master Autotech, I took my car over the other month since I was having problems with it and I asked them to check everything out. They told me it was just my brakes, I spent over $900 for new brakes and when I got out of their parking lot my car started acting up again. Cole and Daniel we're terrific helping us out. We couldn't remove tow mode from our Jeep. The local dealership wouldn't even look at the issue until mid September. They ran diagnostics on the Jeep even though they were swamped with other vehicles to determine it was a battery issue. They had a replacement battery ordered and installed within an hour. Horrible place to take your vehicle! Master Auto Tech Jerome Idaho. We were having issues with 4wd and they charged 4500 dollars and put in a new transfer case and the same problem still existed! Quoted another 4500 dollars to replace the front end! Took the car to Fred Kenyon and they fixed the issues for 2500 dollars and had no idea why a new transfer case would have been put in! I am a little amazed at the number of super nice and friendly reviews of this place. I took two vehicles here to be repaired. I had a brake job done which was done using my parts and slightly went over what I was quoted by 20 bucks or so. About a year later, I had the misfortune of bring my car here. It had several little nagging repairs which I was quoted 600 for. I wasn't thrilled but I went ahead with the repairs. When I returned to pick up my car the repairs had gone from 600 to 1080. I was in a state of disbelief so I went item for item thru the bill with Paul. They had even charged me 60 bucks to slip on a fuel filter- one of the parts I had purchased. While I was sitting there waiting- some friend of Paul's called and asked how much it would cost to put a water pump in his truck and Paul quoted the guy 50 or 60 bucks- less than a plug in fuel filter that takes less than a minute?? I can't recommend Paul's Auto unless you are one of his friends. He clearly has two pricing structures. The work was fine but you are going to pay full bore retail shop time- instead of the vastly reduced, actual time to complete a job. read more

Super friendly, honest and reasonable. It's hard to find a. Good mechanic that won't try to take you for a ride or fix the wrong part etc. It's no frills but they definitely can get the job done right the first time and are upfront about the cost of the repair. read more

In a day and age when customer service has largely been forgotten or ignored, Paul's Auto Repair gets 5 thumbs up for great customer service from me...I am from Boise, my son's car broke down on the freeway headed back to college after the holidays...everyone is busy, but Cody and Brody down at Paul's took exception care of us and got us back on the road...even went the extra mile to take care of us.
