The food is very good and the workers friendly. The prices may be a bit high however it's worth it.

So I'm slowly catching up on the reviews of a trip that was, at this point, about 3 months ago. But…read morepresuming nothing's changed in 3 months, they had a bunch of great flavors of pizza by the slice, 4-5 euros a slice. That's already not bad, but their slices were... large. We split 4 different slices, but asked them to cut them all in half, which they did. That was... too much food (we ended up eating some for an unexpected pizza breakfast the next morning.) Great pizza, great sauce, great fluffy crust. The flavors we tried - mozzarella and basil (fantastic), pork belly (basically bacon, but very good bacon - fantastic), one other one I didn't appear to have written down, and the mushroom and truffle that we both agreed was certainly mushroomy, but a bit one dimensional. Would definitely come back if we were in Lisbon in the future. It is basically only to-go, which was fine for us, we were staying at a hotel nearby. The do also sell fancy sodas and a great Italian craft beer for, at least as of a little under 3 months ago, 3 euros each, which we also got one of each (also great, especially when you're on vacation and you don't have access to your beer collection like at home. :D)

Why I would order takeout again: Fast and high quality You…read moreHAVE to order: There are other items on the menu, but pizza should be what you go for here. Tony's Tip: As a rookie American ordering in Portugal, I neglected to double check I had the address of the hotel correct, and addresses in Portugal can be confusing to visitors. My first delivery actually got lost, and I had to get the bellman to talk to my driver (biker actually) to help him with the hotel's address. So, make sure you get this right. After a long day vacationing in Lisbon, we were looking to do takeout pizza and chill with a movie one night. Something pretty traditional (neapolitan w/ pepperoni). Taking a cue from my fellow Yelpers, Luzzo looked like it could deliver (see what I did there?). There are 7 locations scattered throughout Portugal, but this one was just blocks from our hotel. They have a wide variety of specialty pizzas. We went with the Tutti Trufi (mozzarella, truffles) and the Guilia (pepperoni, chicken, carmelized pineapple). Both had a perfect crust - thin and a blend between chewy and crispy. Cheese allocation was generous (the way I like it!). Totally hit the spot. It's always a little iffy when you're ordering takeout in another country, but pizza is pretty much a universal food category at this point, and I would absolutely order from Luzzo again.

So I didn't actually try any food here - this place wasn't originally on my radar, I just happened…read moreto be walking by, exploring the city, and saw the sign out in front for something relatively rare in Lisbon: a true happy hour on cocktails. Actually, in that same menu, a second thing that also seemed fairly unusual for bars in Lisbon, oddly: a bar that was doing something with ginja other than just serving it neat or in a chocolate shotglass (namely, a ginja spritz, also one of the drinks that's very cheap during happy hour, from 3-7 PM.) Obviously I tried one while I was here, and obviously, it was great. Was especially great for 5.5 euros. Ginja spritzes are bomb. Then I had an 8 euro happy hour "of the day", which that particular day, was a strawberry mojito - not as unique, but also, a great strawberry mojito. Finally, I did try one cocktail off their regular cocktail menu - I'm a huge sucker for Negroni variants, and this was one of the more fun takes I've seen, the Madeironi, of Campari, and both Madeira wine and an agricole rum, also from Madeira. I'd played with sherry at home a few times in Negronis, but hadn't ever tried Madeira - was truly exceptional. They even had the correct large cocktail ice cubes for it. Great service, too (admittedly, it was also basically empty, that presumably being why they had a happy hour, but I've been to empty bars that didn't have as good service, plenty of times.) This is a place I'd definitely come back to if I were back in Lisbon, both to try a couple more of their more locally-focused menu cocktails, and to drink several super-cheap spritzes. And probably try the pizza, too.)

Food quality was top notch. We got a shared plate of Mixed Grill and all the meat was fantastic. Ribs, lamb, prawns, steak were all incredibly juicy and flavorful. The broccoli puree was amazing! I think even those that don't like broccoli loved it. Salad was tasty and very green and fresh. Ambiance: Top notch. Very elegant, reminded me of a nice restaurant in Vegas with the large bar and dark, romantic decor. The chairs were also lush and comfortable. Staff: Very accommodating to American's and very friendly. He made wine recommendations that didn't break the bank, which I appreciated. While the price seems high for individual dishes, we found the shared plate to be incredibly affordable and perhaps the reason for so many groups. Location is also nice, I was really happy with our choice to come here.

The atmosphere seems very high end but the place is filled with couples, pals and families. Inside is very sophisticated and modern. The front door is pretty cool but tricky. My friend and I shared steak platter with beans and salad. The food was amazing and fresh. I usually don't eat red meat, but we both were super hungry and decided to share the platter with beer and more beer!!! I looked around the room and their pizzas also looked amazing. You can tell by that fresh pizza with bobbly cheese and meat that it will be a religious experience eating it. Most def coming back once I visit Lisbon again soon and try other delicious things on the manu.

Pastries de Bacalhau - the crust was not brown enough. May be longer time. The stuffing was flavorful but it's more the cod taste than the flavored mash potatoes which I prefer. I actually prefer the other local restaurant I tried the night before better. Caldo Verde - The potatoe part of the soup is great. Perfect viscosity but the flavor is not. It wasn't salty enough but more importantly is the flavor of the veggies and the spicy sausage they supposed to use that makes the soup taste different. Grilled giant pawns - The flavor of the prawns is not as intense as expected and hope to be. The squid ink pasta also lacked of flavor. That's disappointing. With the prawns, they should at least use the prawn shell to make sauce for the pastas. The pasta was tasteless, didn't even use enough garlic and olive oil to flavor it up. Seafood rice - Another disappointment. They used fish, small mussels and little bit of shrimp pieces along with some bigger whole shrimps and mussels. However, the rice was lack of the true seafood flavor that made from shell fish. They also added cilantro which overwhelmed the whatever left of seafood flavor. The lemonade was not a sweet lemonade but sour. Fyi. It's not fair we just went to another restaurant in the neighborhood and everything was so much better but people should know.
