They were very reasonably priced and had excellent communications with me while planning the excursion. The driver (Sorry, can't remember his name) was excellent and very helpful getting the ladies on and off of the bus! We are planning on using them again soon!

Thank you Charles (driver), Jacob (owner) and David (dispatch/coordinator). From the initial on-line contact to get a price quote there was a response from Jacob by email within thirty minutes requesting more detail about pick up/drop off locations, time and number of passengers. The communication was excellent (from beginning to end) and the responsiveness was very impressive. Our superb driver Charles arrived about an hour early (which was great as many of the 14 adults using the Sprinter Van transportation had already arrived). The driver was caring, responsive, generous and had the Sprinter Van A/C cranked up and the van spotless inside and out. The driver's kindness and driving skills was remarkable in all of the passenger's opinion. He went out of his way to accommodate us. Our HS children used another transportation service (booked prior to the adults deciding to use transportation as well). There service was horrible. He was thirty minutes late for pick up, the Party Bus had no air conditioning (it was 90 some degrees for the one hour ride), had no working speakers, driver smelled of marijuana, drove erratically and did little to in regards to service. When we heard about this we terminated their service after the 1 hour of the 6 hours booked for the evening. Our driver Charles of Shalom Transportation, upon our request, took immediate action by contacting Jacob who was polite and generous and provided us with an impromptu remedy by providing our children with alternative transportation on the spot and the report from our HS children was that the service and transportation vehicle was excellent. David, Shalom's dispatcher, immediately stepped in to action (thank you) and provided immediate communication by text and our adjusted bill by email. We were pleased with Shalom Transportation LLC's communication, service and price and would use them again. Thank you Shalom Transportation LLC (specifically Charles, Jacob and Dave). -the Glasser Family.

We didn't get a chance to use them because Covid had shut the world down but I kept their number locked into my phone. Fast forward two years later and I had an emergency and Baron came to the rescue. At 9:45pm I got a call from my main bus company saying that one of their coaches broke down and they wouldn't have a third bus for a trip we were host the next morning. The first person I called was Claudine because she had given me her cell number two years earlier. I told her our problems and within 40 minutes she had a bus and a driver locked in for my trip Needless to say, this doesn't normaly happen so I was very thankful. The bus was clean, on time and the driver was very professional. They have a customer for life!

The products are no longer as consistent as they used to be, and I've noticed a significant drop in quality compared to what they offered in the past. It's disappointing to pay premium prices and receive products that don't meet the same standards. I used to recommend this place to friends, but I can't do that anymore. I really hope management listens to longtime customers and focuses on improving quality instead of just increasing prices.

Once everyone in my family was fully vaccinated, we began to plan the long awaited reunion. Since I wasn't entirely sure of her schedule, I wasn't able to book until the day before we needed the driver so I was very happy that Culdesac was able to accommodate. From my initial phone inquiry until our drop off, every interaction with the business was professional. During my first phone call, I was able to book a driver for 5 hours to take us to a winery in Virginia. The winery is located over an hour away, so it was nice to be able to relax and not worry about driving. Everything was pretty seamless. Our driver (Rachid) was so professional and even arrived a few minutes early. He was a safe driver, kind and accommodating despite the non-stop storytelling and giggling between me, my sister and a childhood friend throughout the entire ride. Their pricing was upfront and pretty in line with quotes that I received from other businesses as well (and pricing was pretty transparent which I appreciate!) Thank you Culdesac for helping us make a very special weekend, safe and stress free.

Culdesac not only contacted me the same day, but they were the only ones who provided me with any form of communication, and I've yet to hear back from the other 2 companies. That alone catapulted Culdesac to 5 star status in my book! I had 11 people in my group and was suggested a 14 passenger Mercedes Sprint Van, picking up from IAD to downtown Washington for $275, which included tax and gratuity. I believe I spoke to Sammy, who was very helpful and friendly. Fast forward to February... The day before our trip, Sammy called me to reconfirm, and sent me our driver's name and number. A hiccup happened to our trip, and I sent Derek a text to come to the airport earlier than we agreed upon. Culdesac called to verify we needed an earlier pickup, Derek kept me in the loop of his transit time, and he came to the spot we told him we were at. Super professional! We decided to use Culdesac to take us back to the airport. Again the day before, I got a call and email reconfirming my pickup at 1:30 pm. We were told that Derek was going to take us back, but unfortunately a hiccup occured where his appointment was going to run over, so Derek texted me that someone else will pick us up, and not to worry. A few minutes after the text, Culdesac called me to say Derek was being replaced by Sam, and they texted me his number. Sam arrived at 1:15 in a 20 passenger van, just as nice as the Mercedes Sprinter, and even newer! It was also handicapped accessible, which was a good thing to remember if someone was disabled. He was just as courteous and got us to the airport safely and quickly. I honestly believe this company deserves 5 stars. They were professional, easy to get a hold of via email and phone, and communicated with me from start to finish. They charged my card after the service was completed, and the tip and tax was included in the fee. I would gladly use them again if I am back in the DC area.

I arrived at his call-center training session (Tucker Street location in Beltsville, Maryland) in just the nick of time, at 10 am, with literally a minute to spare. Mind you: I had taken public transportation from northwest DC---which meant hopping on and off of buses for nearly 1 hour and 39 minutes, having been traveling since 7:32 am that morning!---plus, a lengthy 15-minute walk to his awfully remote facility. At the desk, Goldlfein asked for my name and paperwork. When I explained I didn't have them (as the forms that he had mailed to my home had not yet reached me in the post), he blew me off coldly and abruptly, saying: "Sorry, I can't train you today. You'll have to call back to reschedule some other time. Next!" Reschedule? Some other time? After the Goliath effort it took me on public metro to get here---not to mention that calf-wrenching long walk? But Goldfein was insistent. Even after I politely asking him (twice!) if I could quickly fill out the forms (literally begging for just 2 minutes of his time, assuring him that I was super-efficient at paperwork), he denied me in a whiff: coldly, without a blink. Startled at his lack of grace, I appealed to him one final time, citing the great distance I had just traveled. "I'm not gonna argue with you. No, I can't see you today, I said!" And that was that. I was out the door, back on the street, making my way--on foot---the reverse metro-bus journey back to DC. (Note: Several employees at the NCC facility spoke ill of him, saying that he "does this kind of thing all the time"..."that he turns away anyone, if you are even a minute late." ...."that he will even turn away his own employees!"). Really, Mr. Goldfein? Is this the way to treat a human resource? Perhaps the federal agencies that fund you (if any) and the public who makes donations should take a "hard look" at your lack of best practices. EEOC should take a peek as well. Sadly, at the end of the day, you get what you give. RATING: Zero stars! Applicants Beware.
