I recently booked with Culdesac Chauffeur and was so pleased with my experience. I had not seen my sister since pre-pandemic. Once everyone in my family was fully vaccinated, we began to plan the long awaited reunion. Since I wasn't entirely sure of her schedule, I wasn't able to book until the day before we needed the driver so I was very happy that Culdesac was able to accommodate. From my initial phone inquiry until our drop off, every interaction with the business was professional. During my first phone call, I was able to book a driver for 5 hours to take us to a winery in Virginia. The winery is located over an hour away, so it was nice to be able to relax and not worry about driving. Everything was pretty seamless. Our driver (Rachid) was so professional and even arrived a few minutes early. He was a safe driver, kind and accommodating despite the non-stop storytelling and giggling between me, my sister and a childhood friend throughout the entire ride. Their pricing was upfront and pretty in line with quotes that I received from other businesses as well (and pricing was pretty transparent which I appreciate!) A group of us was visiting Washington, DC for a hockey road trip. Two months prior to my trip, I emailed Culdesac, along with 2 other competitors for a price quote. Culdesac not only contacted me the same day, but they were the only ones who provided me with any form of communication, and I've yet to hear back from the other 2 companies. That alone catapulted Culdesac to 5 star status in my book! I had 11 people in my group and was suggested a 14 passenger Mercedes Sprint Van, picking up from IAD to downtown Washington for $275, which included tax and gratuity. I believe I spoke to Sammy, who was very helpful and friendly. Fast forward to February... The day before our trip, Sammy called me to reconfirm, and sent me our driver's name and number. A hiccup happened to our trip, and I sent Derek a text to come to the airport earlier than we agreed upon. Culdesac called to verify we needed an earlier pickup, Derek kept me in the loop of his transit time, and he came to the spot we told him we were at. Super professional! We decided to use Culdesac to take us back to the airport. Again the day before, I got a call and email reconfirming my pickup at 1:30 pm. We were told that Derek was going to take us back, but unfortunately a hiccup occured where his appointment was going to run over, so Derek texted me that someone else will pick us up, and not to worry. A few minutes after the text, Culdesac called me to say Derek was being replaced by Sam, and they texted me his number. Sam arrived at 1:15 in a 20 passenger van, just as nice as the Mercedes Sprinter, and even newer! It was also handicapped accessible, which was a good thing to remember if someone was disabled. He was just as courteous and got us to the airport safely and quickly. I honestly believe this company deserves 5 stars. They were professional, easy to get a hold of via email and phone, and communicated with me from start to finish. Fantastic business. Called and asked for price quotes for a group of students heading for prom - the woman who took my call was extremely friendly and polite: she provided me with the prices without hesitation, as well as what options were available (limo versus party bus) - she couldn't have been nicer! Even though I told her upfront I wasn't making a reservation yet, as I was still calling around for quotes, she remained extremely friendly and courteous. We (parents) ended up going with this company, and couldn't have been happier. The party bus arrived on time, driver was courteous and safe, and the kids (16 of them) transported to D.C. to take pictures in front of the monuments, then to dinner at Old Ebbitt Grill, then to the prom. The kids had a blast, and the parents didn't have to worry about any of them driving all around town or not making it in time for pictures or dinner or prom, all around win! I worked with Culdesac to book a limo for my exec for his visit to DC and based on the excellent service and clean car, I'll work with them again. I received a confirm of my reservation right away via email and also a copy of the credit card receipt without having to ask. All of the details were included in the emails which was excellent. We took a three week vacation to NY and D.C from just before christmas until after New Years. Great vacation but.......our flight (thank you Jet blu) got cancelled so we were told we would to wait 5 days or cash out and fly someone else which we did. I had booked Cul de sac to take us to reagan airport. After finding out about our now non flight I called these guys and they were so helpful and instead of adding to the stress they put our reservation off to the side and basically said call us when we can help you. Wow what a service, we rebooked our flight ( thank you southwest) called cul de sac back with the time and place again. They were on time, helpful beyond words and very nice. I used Culdesac recently for my friend's bachelorette party wine tour and had an excellent experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend them and will use them for my future limo needs. 1) Booking was super easy -- I work long hours so appreciated the many ways they could be reached. They were responsive to emails (unlike other companies from whom I requested online quotes) and picked up the phone when I called at 8:30pm on a Friday night. Easy as pie. 2) They were able to accommodate a last minute change to the size of vehicle requested 2 nights before my event -- even after they had already called to confirm everything -- because one of my guests bailed last-minute. They confirmed with me via email and text so that I was assured the change had been made. At no extra cost. 3) Mark, our driver, arrived early, was extremely polite, impeccably dressed, and professional. He helped us load our many bags of picnic supplies into the trunk, and gently reminded us of the time when we were tipsy at the wineries so that we would not accidentally run over our allotted time. I definitely felt like Pretty Woman in our white Lincoln Town limousine (apart from the turning tricks thing). It was the perfect surprise for the bf's birthday - he said he felt like Kanye haha. The most impressive aspect of Culdesac that I experienced was their responsiveness. I first reached out to them via email and received a response within minutes. Every subsequent email was also answered within the hour, even at 8pm on a weekday and on weekends. Gathering the details for renting a vehicle as well as the booking process was painless and smooth. Sammy is absolutely wonderful and she made booking our limo a breeze. For the Lincoln Town limo, a 4-hour minimum and a down payment is required. Quotes include tip. Depending on your location, I believe rates may fluctuate. I was misquoted initially, and was told later that my Springfield pick-up location was a bit out of range (they are located in MD), and that I would actually be charged almost an additional hour for travel. But Sammy made things work and they honored the initial quote they gave me. This is something to keep in mind if you have drop-off or pick-up locations away from DC. Our driver arrived early and worked with me to circle around the neighborhood so that the bf would see the limo pull up right when he exited the house. The limo was clean, and stocked with ice, champagne flutes, and whiskey glasses. Temperature was easy to control in the limo and we were able to make it super toasty inside (it was a freezing cold night). A usb type outlet is available to hook up your phone for music (not gonna lie - I downloaded Frank Sinatra for our fancy night). Our driver was sweet enough to take pictures for us and open our door, but besides this, service was not particularly as cordial as I would have hoped in terms of communication. But it was enough for a birthday, and the night went well. I probably won't be going all out like this again any time soon, but I will definitely be keeping Culdesac in mind for any other emergency pick-up services in the future. For both occasions (arrival and departure from the airport to hotel and vice versa), I scheduled the rides over the phone speaking with their customer service representative, Sammy McGarity. She was absolutely amazing to work with! I booked CulDeSac Chauffeur for a bachelorette party a few months ago. This is my first time booking a limo for a party, we hand a handful of girls who weren't great at committing, and I was calling from Las Vegas! Of course not many people regularly book limos. Kevin was super helpful in all ways. He didn't mind making calls around my weird work schedule or time zone difference, and kept me up to date with emails. He gave me good advice on what my options were if girls flaked out, depending on the number of people.Then my card didn't work for some reason and he was helpful about using a different card, paying the deposit on card and the remainder to the driver in cash. Got a limo sprinter van for my home girls birthday party. We were doing a bunch of wineries and obviously didn't want to drive. Our drivers name was Geoff and he was very polite, considerate and on time. He had no problem with us storing things in the Van, bringing in our own food and drinks or acting a fool. He actually arrived an hour early and had no problem waiting around the corner as it was a surprise for the birthday girl. The limo seemed brand new. It was very meticulously cleaned and stocked. Everything was working great, but we could've used a quick crash course on how to use the sound system before we left. Also, while leaving the city, you could definitely feel all of the moves the vehicle made. some people fell out of their seats and spilled their drinks. Stop signs and traffic lights come with living in the city, but they could have been dealt with a little smoother. Overall great experience and would definitely use them again. read more

From working with the front office who followed up on my itinerary twice, to our driver Leo who I cant say enough great things about, Culdesac Chauffeur was both professional and friendly during the entire evening. I rented one of their Lincoln MKZ Limos which had plenty of space for my entire family of 9 including space in the trunk for my grand mothers wheelchair and a few other bags. We were picked up promptly from a graduation (Leo made sure to arrive 15 minutes early) in DC and then driven to Dinner and subsequently to the Jefferson memorial where I surprised my girlfriend in front of our family by proposing. Leo made sure the champagne was plenty chilled and that we even had extra flutes in the limo. He was extremely accommodating with adjusting to our schedule a few times and got us everywhere we needed to be on time. I would highly recommend them for any important events you need. I will definitely be using them again for all of my future events! read more

The Premier Holiday Tour is a total rip off! If you are using Culdesac Chauffer's to get from Point A to Point B I am sure they are as reliable as all of the other reviews say. But when I signed up for their DC Holiday Lights Tour I was expecting a seasonal experience. Boy do I feel like a fool! The DC landmarks are NOT lit up with "extravagent Christmas lights," as the ad clearly promises. Only 2 out of my 7 stops had lights and that's only because they involved xmas trees. The promised highlight of the tour - the Botanic Garden - was closed for a private party and no alternative was offered. And get this - the ad says, "you'll enjoy complimentary sparkling cider and eggnog as you toast to your favorite holiday songs." We got a wrapped peppermint candy and sat in the silence the entire ride! The chauffer didn't say one word to us and he certainly didn't play a Xmas song. Such false advertising! I basically paid top dollar for a glorified Uber Ride. I cut this dismal experience short 1 hour into a 4 hour ride. It was pouring rain and the driver has to park so far from the monuments that making the walk from car to monument would have left us drenched. Meanwhile, we couldn't see anything from the car. Use this company for their door to door service - NOT for their premier experiences. Note to company - people signing up for a "Holiday Lights Tour" don't expect to be squinting at dark, unlit monuments from afar. *Update* The company took my complaint seriously and looked into why my tour went so awry. They took my feedback from the bad experience to make the tour better for other customers, so I have to give them credit for that! read more

I had the most AMAZING experience with Culdesac. I used them for my sister's bachelorette party this past Saturday. Kevin was my contact and I had been in touch for about a month prior and he was SOOOOO helpful! He helped me organize the dinner, making sure that the restaurant got in touch with me and had everything the way I wanted it (my sister has a gluten allergy that required a special menu). Also, when I told him the kind of car I wanted to get for the night, he told me the car was taken, and a few hours later said that he worked things out with his other client so that we could get the car we wanted! It made me so happy to have such great customer service. He was also really great at getting back to me in a timely manner and always so so nice. He even texted me the name and number of our driver that same night. Our driver that night was Miguel and he just made the experience that much better! He was the sweetest guy, always opening the doors and giving us his arm so none of us fell out of the car in our heels! He was always there on time and knew where to take us without asking, and even enjoyed our silly conversations in the car. Overall, using Culdesac just made our night. I used Culdesac for a doctors appointment that I had at Johns Hopkins. To say the least, and for lack of better word, this service is the absolute best I've ever had. I am so glad I found Culdesac, their efficiency, and professionalism was incredible. The driver (Robert) arrived 20 minutes early to pick me up, was very helpful with taking care of my wheelchair, opening the door, and making sure I was completely comfortable. This company is exceptional. Their rates are great and they respond very quickly and will also give you quotes with gratuity ect. Kevin responded to me (within 30min) initially and I was trying to make a last minute reservation. They presented several options and were easily the best value. They were also very flexible and accommodating. Unfortunately I had to cancel soon after and I knew I would be out the security deposit, but given the circumstances they actually refunded my ENTIRE deposit...even though I didn't try to fight it. They had no reason other than to provide great customer service and they told me they hoped I would consider them next time! This is the only place I will consider next time for sure. It also happens to be that my buddy made reservations with Culdesac for his wedding so when I spoke to Sammy she saw the reservation (which was made coincidentally) and we laughed. Used Culdesac again for a tour with family from Rockville to Baltimore. They did not disappoint. Service was excellent as it was last time. Our Lincoln MKT limo was beautiful and seemed brand new, equipped with new car scent.... aaahhhh yahhhhhh. Again, emailing and texting and messaging via yelp were answered within a few minutes. I forgot my cell phone (initially the only way to contact the driver for time of pickup) on the limo so logged onto yelp on my husband's cell and got a response within seconds. So impressed. Jerry, our limo driver was courteous, professional, responsive. The only hiccup is we couldn't get blue tooth to work to connect my phone for music. Great limo company. Highly recommended. Here was my last review a few years ago with some more details bout the limo itself. Keep in mind that they seemed to have cleaned up any hiccups I experienced years ago. Turning 40 is only bearable in a Cadillac Escalade Limo with 18 of your closest friends wiping the tears from a botox ready face. All kidding aside, 40 is fabulous, and I felt like Cinderella with Kevin of Culdesac Chauffeur Service as my fairy Godmo... Godfather. The great thing about Kevin is that the booking process was easy. Texting or Emailing him would result in a response within a couple minutes, if not immediately. He was honest and unfortunately had to contact us regarding the first limo that would not arrive in time for my party. We had to cancel. But the next day, he had the escalade available and was so apologetic about the cancellation that he gave us a slight discount in price. Danson, our driver, was very courteous and was trying his best to keep our rowdy party happy. The only mishaps that occurred were minor. Kevin had some problems with drivers and let me know a driver would call me the night before to firm up the itinerary. No driver called, but that is likely due to the fact that Danson was new. Danson arrived 8 minutes late... not really much of a problem for me, but if I had a wedding, I'd be stressed with a late pickup. Danson also did not know how to connect the music via blue tooth... luckily, we had an audio plug (old school audio plug - no usb in the limo) to connect an ipod for music. And the last thing... Danson picked the guys up first from their dinner and left the girls waiting for about 30 minutes despite my request that the girls were picked up first. The next day, Kevin asked how everything went. I let him know about the minor mishaps. He apologized and I am assured that he will correct those problems immediately. All in all, I was happy with the service and Kevin was so professional. We have heard so many horror stories of limo transportation gone wrong. I will defintely use Culdesac again. NOTES on the LIMO: -- Escalade is beautiful inside and out. Impressive, attention-getting vehicle. - The escalade barely fits 18 with slight discomfort. 15 or under is ideal. The picture is misleadingly spacey. If you sit in the middle, your legs will intimately contact the person in front of you. (This may be a good thing for some. LOL.) - blue tooth compatible - No USB in our escalade only audio jack. - There are two tiny tv screens (~8 inches?) in the middle of the limo that are not viewable by everyone (we were contemplating putting up some entertaining pics or videos.) - Two bar areas with about 9 glasses, small ice compartments enough for about 6 beers and ice or two bottles champagne at each station. Extra wine chiller space that cannot fit much ice with a bottle of wine (red ideal b/c no chill needed). If you need ice for drinks, bring a cooler. -- There is trunk space reachable from the back seat that you can store some stuff. -- AC and music control at the back of the limo - have your "DJ" and responsible people sit there fore requests on climate and music. -- Speakers are louder at the front of the limo. -- sunroof at the front of the limo only that opens only a few inches. -- two windows that open at the back of the limo. read more

My first time actually posting a review here... but I felt I had to. I went through a good 10-15 different car/limo/party/coach bus services until I finally came upon these guys. If it wasn't for them, I would have ended up booking with another really sketchy company, and my booking experience was practically last minute with Culdesac. I was looking for a party bus for a work event for anywhere between 20-50 people, but hadn't finalized the numbers. The event itself was for a Tuesday, the invitations sent out on the Thursday before, and my call to Culdesac was on Saturday afternoon. The actual booking didn't take place until the Monday before the event. Their party bus only seats about 22 (they're website isn't updated, but they're working on it, I'm told). I ended up getting a shuttle bus b/c the number went over. (Obnoxiously, I actually ended up with less than 20 people actually attending!) The person I worked with closely on this was Sammy. I didn't get a Kevin until I asked about receipt for the final payment. Sammy's fantastic. She was patient with me, answered all my questions, whether by phone or email, and stayed on top of any and all changes I made. Pricing is super affordable, especially in comparison to some of the larger and more widely used car services. Despite all the last minute finalizations, I didn't experience any trouble or failed negotiations, any sort of unreliability, none of that. Everything went surprisingly smooth, despite my being prepared for the worst after some horror stories I've read on here regarding other chauffeur services! My only two concerns are this: 1) a piece of advice for anyone booking a shuttle bus/limo with a table - those things are SLIPPERY! And if your driver is anything like ours was, there is NO MERCY for you or your things. He drove that baby like I drive my turbo engine sedan. Through DC streets, no less. 2) I got the feeling he (the driver) was being a little condescending when I spoke to him at the end of the night. Forgot his name, but that look on his face and the way he looked down at me from over his nose made me want to punch him in the face on the spot. I'm pretty sure it wasn't until he got tipped that he finally fixed his demeanor. I let the main host of the whole thing take care of that part. ....Still feel like I want to punch him in the face when I remember it. Anyway, other than these two things, I'd say you're in perfectly capable and reliable hands. No hidden fees, no rudeness or impolite customer service (beyond that latter bit), bus showed up perfectly on time (which still surprises me!), surprisingly reasonable in price, always answered calls and emails promptly - no long waits or holds... I've definitely got them at the top of my list for future events, both corporate & personal. read more

Culdesac Chauffeur defines "money well spent"! I just fell out of bed after a fantastic night at a concert and my 1st thought was "I have to tell people how great this company is!". I was taking my parents to a Garth Brooks concert in Baltimore, because the snow roads were a total mess so we started to worry about getting there from Rockville MD at 7pm on a Friday. I started getting quotes from limo and bus services (we had a group of 8 people going) and was shocked at 1) how long they took to get back to me RUDE and 2) how outrageous prices were. Then I saw the good reviews for Culdesac and sent them a message. They responded within 15 minutes with options, pricing, and details. Info that was actually useful! When I wrote them back with questions they worked with me and were totally professional and kind. They communicate very well. We went with the sprinter mercedes limo which is like a large van converted into a luxury apt, it is GORGEOUS! We could have easily fit 10-12 people with a cooler and some bags. We were also impressed with the technology inside that we could play with and how clean the interior was. It looks new. After doing a lot of research it was also totally affordable in comparison to any other means of transportation to get to the concert. Once everyone split the bill we agreed it was worth every penny for the relaxed ride, party on the way/ party all the way home, and we all felt totally safe and pampered at the same time! They emailed several times to confirm the details AND I got a call from someone asking exactly where we wanted to be picked up. As a totally anxious person I REALLY appreciated the confirmation (it calmed my nerves). I got a text an hour before they were set to arrive just telling me they were on their way! Derek (our super cute driver) was there EARLY and helped everyone from the front door into the limo and back and forth to my house to get all of our stuff, he was totally patient. He drove the most direct route and got us there in record time. He also pulled up at a perfect location and met us in that same easy to find spot the minute the concert was over. I will be calling them for EVERY event from now on and I suggest you do the same. This is a luxury well worth the money, it made our concert experience magical even in 95 traffic!!! I called Culdesac New Year's Eve morning to schedule a driver to pick up my boyfriend and I after a NYE party in DC (super short notice). Culdesac was the first of several limo services that I called and ultimately my first pick for a number of reasons. First, the young woman that took my reservation was professional, polite, and cheerful. I even called back an hour later to change my pickup time which she took care of asap without any fuss. Second, they were not only available on short notice (don't know how? These guys are great.) but they quoted us the best price, by a significant margin ($100+ less!?). The driver that picked us up, Miguel, was amazing. The party slowed down sooner than expected so I called to ask Miguel if he could try get there sooner. I also asked if he wouldn't mind accommodating another couple that we had met out at the party. To both he replied "no problem". THEN he patiently fielded both my texts (the venue was too loud) and phone calls to successfully direct me to his car. And when I arrived I noticed other party goers trying to bribe him to drop us. He politely declined. The ride was stress free, he had his own directions, and he even took the other couple home to their house 15 minutes away, which was not scheduled in our itinerary, for a very reasonable price. All in all, amazing driver. He made what has historically been the most dreadful part of NYE evening drama free and relaxing. We used this company to take a group of 12 of us from the airport to our housing for a conference in Baltimore. Bryian met us at the airport and was very patient since our flight had been delayed 45 minutes past our scheduled arrival. He met us curbside within 5 minutes of calling to let him know we had claimed all of our bags! The bus was very spacious, clean, and well kept. I have used Kevin on 3 separate occasions and have also referred him to other clients of mine. For someone that is so affordable, you would assume they would lack in service. With Kevin and Culdesac, it is the exact opposite. Not only are they ALWAYS early to pick you up, they are on time to take you home. I seldom write reviews but had to write about our experience with Culdesac. My wife's train from NY to Union Station was experiencing major mechanical issues and the earliest it was going to arrive was midnight. She usually takes a taxi home but didn't want to have to wait for one at that hour. I called Culdesac based on the reviews on Yelp. It was 10:00PM and I didn't know if I'd be able to get a reservation on such short notice. I explained that we weren't sure what time the train would get in. The customer service rep picked up the phone immediately and said no problem. They would track the train and be there for her when it arrives. Well, long story short, the train didn't get in until somewhere around 2:30AM (she had to switch trains in Baltimore after midnight when train broke down!). Not only was her driver (Kevin) there to meet her, but he kept in touch with her throughout the whole ordeal. It was such a relief that she didn't have to worry about whether someone would be there given all the delays. Last thing she wanted to do was end up in Union Station at 2:30AM without a ride home. She said Kevin was great and she really appreciated all he communications and reassurance. That's the kind of service that's tough to find these days and needs to be commended! We rented the Mercedes Sprinter (with party seating) for a bachelor party and the vehicle was fantastic. We had 9 tall guys and there was plenty of room to move around and make drinks. My iPhone easily connected to the audio system via a USB (make sure you bring your own charger cord). Our driver was named Long and he was great. The Sprinter arrived on time with fresh ice, but there was not enough ice to make drinks all night... Long had brought an extra cooler and when I told him we would need more ice, he took care of us by making a quick pit stop at 7-11. Long did not bother us, but rather ran into 7-11 himself to buy more. Most of the other guys didn't even notice we were detouring, which was perfect. While booking the Sprinter, Culdesac accidentally quoted me the wrong price. They told me it was $105 per hour instead of $135 per hour - I think they gave me the price for the Sprinter with rows of seats, and not the party seating. The owner called me back the evening that I booked and explained there was a mistake and wanted to increase my price! When I told him I felt like I was getting bait-and-switched, he realized that this honest mistake could be bad for business and he honored the original price. I do believe this was an honest mistake, and I would recommend Culdesac again because they did the honest thing and honored the original price. Although I would not expect them to make this mistake on their next booking! Additional tip: If you're planning to drink a lot, bring your own plastic cups because the car only came with champaign flutes - not big enough for jack and cokes or gin and tonics. read more

I just want to say the Culdesac company gave us a fantastic ride and service from the time we booked until we returned to our destination! Our driver Aaron made sure we were well taken care of during our DC Tour! He showed us the perfect places where to take our pictures as well as the stops he allowed us to make (since everyone was soooo hungry) to go yo the carryout to get wings & fries!! It was the funniest thing ordering 25 orders of that! Even though we had the luxury van, we could have gotten a limo since all our guests didnt show, we ended up having a blast! He rolled out the red carpet like we were celebrities from beginning to end!! We will definitely be using Culdesac company again! I booked Culdesac a couple of months ago for a wedding that I was planning. The wedding took place last weekend and I am extremely happy with Culdesac's service! Throughout the entire process Sammy was very responsive and kept up with every single change that was made. Not only did she take the time to confirm the pick up times with me the day before the event, she also offered a newer vehicle that became available to ensure that my clients received the best service possible! The drivers were also excellent! They arrived earlier than scheduled for each trip and clearly communicated with me when they had arrived. We rented a 28-passenger bus for our wedding. The bus was clean and easy to book - the deposit and balance were charged the exact amount and on the dates as described. Our only complaint is that they were to provide bottled water, which they did not, so we were pretty parched for the 3 hour rental, and their customer service didn't care or offer to make it up. Pretty crappy, considering we spent $600 for the service. (We even asked the driver if he brought water and he said "Yeah, for me."). The driver was otherwise very knowledgeable about locations and best routes to avoid traffic (it was a busy weekend - with Taste of DC, the Million Man March, etc). read more
