Food/Drink: For starters, I got there after the main kitchen closed so they only had fried food. It was pretty late, I didn't even expect them to have any food. I just had fries, and they were good. I didn't have any alcohol, because I no longer drink, but it sounded like unreasonably cheap prices for the most part, at least compared to where I'm from. They also have cans of soda, which is my preferred style. The menu isn't huge but I'd also prefer that over overwhelming. They have plenty for everyone. It is 21+ at all times. Pool: The 7 foot tables were in pretty good shape, definitely better than the average bar table for sure. I didn't get a chance to play on it because others were using it, but they just got a brand new 9 foot table with an awesome, square, huge LED light for the top of it! They also hold tournaments pretty often, so it would be a good place to play for a long time, one day, without having to commit to a league of any sort. Service/Atmosphere: It's small, what some might consider a dive bar, but I think it can be so much more! I say that because the service was phenomenal. The bartender was so sweet and funny and honest and kind. I needed it that night, so I am truly grateful. All of the folks that were in there were also really nice as well, which to me, speaks of how the business is run and the people that they attract to their business. I'll be back if for nothing else than to say hello if I don't have time to play, but only if I'm passing through the town of course, it's a couple hours away from home. P.S. (nothing to do with this review) Yelp, I don't know if you actually read these but for some reason when I put a "." the next letter after the space doesn't capitalize. Not a huge deal, but I like for my reviews to be as grammatically correct as I know how, and having to go back to correct those is just a little tedious. This is the only app that it happens, so I was just curious if anyone else had the problem as well. I'm on an iPhone 14 ProMax if that makes a difference.

No one was particularly hostile and no one was very welcoming outside of the bartender. Well bourbons here are $2.50. I told the bartender about my experience at Bar Louis and he laughed saying he'd never be caught dead at chain bar paying $6.50 a drink. Definitely not a place to roll in solo unless you're a pool player. Definitely felt out of place, I felt that way driving through the neighborhood it takes to get here. But it's a cool place if you're in to local dives and you play pool.

I have liked having a good spot to go to here in the boro, but about 4 weeks ago I was going to go there to get some takeout, didn't realize they were closed and saw the owner-Eric Ashworth making out with a black guy in there near the bar. Since I knew that wasn't sanitary (what they were doing), I left. I saw Eric's black Jeep and a dark Nissan Maxima in the parking lot. I called a buddy of mine who lives on Wellshurst near Eric, and found out this guy (Kelly Kirby) has been staying at Eric's a lot, they are heard doing stuff, and that he has HIV (the other guy-don't know about Eric). He said there was a Biktarvy medicine bottle with Kelly Kirby outside Eric garbage can one day and looked up the drug. The address was a Bowling Green address. He also works for ADT, and Eric ain't the first ADT customer this rep-Kelly Kirby has messed around with. Does ADT allow their employees to have sex with customers to "seal the deal"? It is disgusting what they were doing at a food/drink spot, especially with HIV/AIDS (and they were NOT being safe), but even scarier this guy comes in our homes/businesses acting like he's good. I won't eat here again because of what I saw!!! The inspectors should do a thorough inspection of this place! I lost all respect for Eric that night! We arrived at the nearby RV resort and were searching for dinner when we discovered this spot on the map. It had excellent reviews, but when we arrived, it didn't look like much. What a surprise! I let her know that the tea has sugar in it. She looked confused and uttered something. She rushed off with the glass. We figured she'd bring more chips since the basket was empty. When she showed up again 10 minutes later she only had the queso. She brought the tea back and again it had sugar in it! She never returned to our table so when the water guy came around I just ordered a glass of water. No biggie, only the glass smelled like a sour dishrag. I gave up. The food finally arrived (54 minutes after arriving). Looks good. Both the chimi shell and the tortillas on the fish tacos were sticky/soggy, as if they hadn't been cooked quite long enough. I'm not sure but we didn't make a big deal of it. We were done eating in a few minutes and just sat there, waiting, waiting, waiting. No check. Finally we gave up on the check and went to the cashier's desk. Nobody there and no employees to be seen anywhere. There were 4 of us waiting. Finally the man ahead of us went back to kitchen and got someone to come up to the front. It was our long-lost server. She looked frazzled. She didn't have the checks done and was looking at the menu to determine what the prices are. Hmm. We finally got out of there after an hour and 15 minutes.
