Wish we could go back for more. In the middle of a full day tour we were dropped off for lunch. It was chaotic at first but we were prepared. Grabbed a table first then went right to the bar to order. Two ciders, a seafood chowder, and fish and chips. Plenty of food for two people for lunch. The batter on the fish was perfect, no sog at all. The chowder was so creamy and loaded with seafood.

Our favorite bartender and the owner were both gracious hosts and helped us feel more than welcome.

Let's start with the food. The seafood chowder, oysters, fresh bread, and the fish and chips were al absolutely phenomenal! The ambiance is that of a quintessential Irish pub in one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited. Great times with even better people. Every local had a story to tell, especially after the drinks start flowing. The staff is where this place exceeds all expectations. The owner helped us feel at home, the bartender was awesome, and the wait staff were top-notch. We will always make it a point to visit Fanore whenever we're in Ireland just to see these lovely people. 5 stars isn't enough!

Great food and such kind people. O'donoghues is a wonderful stop along the Wild Atlantic way. I had some lovely vegetable soup, even my picky child who doesn't love most vegetables loved it. And the goat cheese was fantastic. Thank you O'donoghues we'll stop again soon.

Patrick,, the owner is the gentleman in the light blue shirt. A most excellent host. AAA+++

Patrick O'Donoghue is the most hospitable of hosts. He sat with us and asked about our trip, what else to do in Ireland, and even how to drink a Guinness. Food was EXCELLENT, service was amazing. We even got to listen to Old John Boy sing us an old Irish Song. If you're in the area, say visiting the Cliffs of Moher, take the scenic route and enjoy an awesome experience here. Best restaurant/Pub in all of Ireland.

    Great pints if Guinness

Great little pub. Food was great and so is the ocean view. The fresh oysters and seafood chowder were our favorites.
