I went to this restaurant with a party of five on a Friday night. Reading reviews from other sites, we decided it would be best to make a reservation. I wouldn't say it was necessary at 7:30, which is when ours was for, but around 8:30 it's started to get busy. When seated, the menu was brought to us by a waitress who, thankfully, spoke some English. There was already charcuterie, bread, and olives on the table, which were delicious, but it was not made clear that these cost money. It was worth the €2.50, but I assume if you didn't eat it, you would not be charged. The waitress was more than happy to answer any questions we had and explained some of the things that our google translate did not help us with. The three adults ordered arroz de pato (duck rice), carne assada (roasted beef), and bife de peru (grilled turkey). This was all amazing. The turkey came with potatoes and a salad, and the beef came with potatoes, rice, cabbage. The kids, who were younger, subsisted off of sandwiches made from the charcuterie and bread, which were probably just as good as the real meals! For dessert, we split chocolate cake, which was good, but kind of standard and lacking something compared to the rest of the meal. The prices were pretty reasonable, and the service was friendly. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this place out for some great Portuguese food. read more
