I drive a 2019 Subaru Outback and it had the original battery so it was long overdue for a replacement. I called ahead of time to make sure they had one in stock and they did, so I stopped by a couple hours later. I was immediately greeted by a very friendly gentleman who showed me where to park. He had me pop the hood and checked my alternator, then went to get a new battery. He went to work on replacing it after checking the settings in my car. Once he was done he cleaned up the battery acid from my old battery corroding and I was good to go. It came out to a total of $180, $170 for the battery and $10 for install. The man who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. He told me what he was doing before he did it so I knew what was going on. He didn't talk down to me because I'm not a man a which was a welcome relief. Note that they won't work on Subarus if they were made in 2020 or later due to how Subaru batteries work now. I didn't catch the whole explanation but it was good to know. The place itself is small and easy to miss but they have everything you would need battery-wise. They do installs for you and make sure it's all working, all for a very good price. I will definitely be back!

The story of locking myself out of his truck with the keys in my hand makes for a great phone call. I walked in and was immediately greeted by an employee, who was very kind and helpful. I explained what had happened. He took it all apart and asked me questions. Given it isn't my own truck and key fob, I didn't have the best answers. The nicest thing was the employee asked me if I knew about the hidden key inside the fob. Which I didn't until I called my friend when the fob stopped working. I really appreciate when someone wants to teach me something new, and was kind about it. The employee had everything fixed and put back together in less than ten minutes. I asked if we could go outside and test it. We walked out and each pushed the lock and unlock buttons, so it was clear everything was working perfectly. I noticed two other employees who asked if I was being helped and then moved on to the next customer to help them. They all appeared to be as kind and welcoming as the one helping me. The whole thing cost me like $25. It wasn't expensive, in my opinion. He stapled the receipt to a flyer that I left in the truck for warranty purposes. He was happy to put the warranty stuff in my friend's name and phone number. When cashing me out, he asked if I needed anything else. I said, I've never been here. Find me something I can't live without. He told me about a couple specials, although nothing I needed at that moment. But he still tried, and I was happy to hear about all of it. Would I return? Absolutely! The customer service here was amazing. Most of the time when I'm talking about anything car related, I'm met with someone who is condescending because I'm female. It's happened a million times before. But it didn't here, and I'm definitely impressed. It took ten minutes and $25 for the problem to be fixed, with no effort on my part. It was all done for me. I left extremely happy about the entire thing, and would absolutely come back in the future. Review 40 of 2025.

9-6-2024 purchased auto battery. Had a 4 year warranty…read more 4-9-2025, auto did not start - not even a "click-click". Very dead battery. Tow company charged it up and said to drive it so we did for about 30 minutes and then stopped for 10 minutes. Auto would not start. Dead battery again. Got another jump and drove directly to Toyota in Corvallis. They tested it and said it had a bad cell. Toyota also tested all electrical, alternator, ignition, etc. and all was OK. Battery Plus tested and agreed the cell was bad. Gave us a replacement battery but would not extend the warranty. They said warranty starts from original purchase date and not from the replacement battery. What? Isn't this a new battery? Apparently not. That should have been a clue. But it's company policy. So sorry. 9-23-2025 replacement battery failed. What a surprise! Tow company tried every trick in the book and could not get battery to charge. Said it was a bad battery. Towed vehicle to Toyota and had it tested and they said it was a bad battery. Had Toyota put in one of their batteries and took dead battery back to Battery Plus. We wanted our money back but they said it only had a 30 day return policy. (company policy) Really? Said we could contact Duracell to see if they would refund any money. Battery Plus would not refund any money. They said they had to test the battery themselves and they said it tested OK and we could take it back. Really? And when will this one die.....both instances were very inconvenient but Battery Plus did not even apologize for our troubles and said the battery was probably "misused" and they thought it was very unusual that we would have two batteries that failed.. Wow - great customer service! Guess they didn't want us to come back. Talked to others and they said they probably refurbished their batteries and resold them. So why would we want another battery from them???? Why would we want to do any business with them? First time in over 40 years we had issues with a bad battery. Hopefully, this will be the last.
