I let him know I would be in on Saturday morning. I arrived at 10.00 a.m. on Saturday May 19. I was approached by an employee and asked what could he help me with. I responded with the information on my bike. At that time another employee came over and began talking about how many variables existed and he couldn't tell me what battery I needed. He also asked me if I had looked at the battery. I said I had and he walked me down an aisle of batteries and asked me if I saw what it looked like. I said that isn't how I want to identify the proper battery and I will go elsewhere. I did go to the Interstate battery shop off of 128th in S. Everett. I spoke with the employee and he sold me the proper battery which was promptly installed. Pacific Power Batteries appears to have a wide variety of batteries as I can verify since I was shown the aisle of motorcycle batteries and asked to pick the one that matched. No idea of the price of a battery since no one consulted a parts catalog. The man the previous day gave me a price.

To include; new cables connecting to and from the alternator, starter, and to the battery, also including all grounding cables, custom made by them, $500+ just in cabling. $300+ battery + the extended warranty. That being said, they also tested my alternator, no problem there. Then how is it that an manufacturer defective battery that won't hold a charge, can't be exchanged (considering there extended warranty (2 years)+ manufacturer warranty (3 years )) after two years? This is the third battery that I have had issues with over the past 4 out of 5 years (different vehicles ), that have all been tested by the company. To make sure that the vehicles, or the way that the batteries were being maintained were not at falt. All that being said... They have decided not to warranty there product, and replace the defective battery (as I purchased the extended warranty ). Conclusion. I am boycotting this company, and telling every single person in my very extensive collection of wonderful friends & colleagues (military, car community, car club, car enthusiasts, mechanics, salespeople, and business owners)... He had brought Group 45 battery because of the above. That is service above and beyond. The adaptor was $7.68 and it is not as strong as the ones made for impact guns. The parking lot is a little small. The parking lot for the auto zone down the street is much easier to find parking in. Advanced auto parts on evergreen way has a huge parking lot. So if you have to tinker with your car a little, that one has plenty of space. I forgot my wallet! But luckily I was able to pay with Apple Pay, thank goodness.
