After describing the issue to a couple of my technician friends in other parts of the state, I was urged to take it somewhere else. Sure glad I did. Another shop in town fixed the problem for $110, which was cheaper than Bergrens charged me for their "diagnosis". I think they saw a female who doesn't know much about cars and tried to take advantage of the situation. Very disappointing.

On a recent reservation for a trailer, I decided to add an appliance cart for a washer and dryer…read more The guy behind the counter walked over to a cart which was sitting apart from about a dozen others. I mentioned the rubber belts were in poor condition on the cart, but thought it would still get the job done. After returning to the storage unit, I realized the cart was also missing a second ring to cinch the strap, rendering it more or less useless. We elected to not use the cart and return it the next day, seeking a refund. At Roberts Big Sky Repair the next day, we were initially told that we were out of luck and the broken cart would have to travel with me through the move (to Colorado!) and then I could rent a different (functional) cart for an additional charge. A supervisor then came out to help the "gentleman" behind the desk and agreed to remove the cart from the reservation, but still refused to issue the refund. We are dissatisfied because we were issued a defunct cart and Roberts would not issue a refund. The fact that the cart was segregated from the others is very suspect, as well.
