The kid that helped me, clean cut with a brace on his finger, seemed rushed as he was about to go to lunch. He tried finding someone else to help me but did not have luck. Asking where the batteries were and I told him still in the RV. Told me I had to take them out as they don't test them in the vehicle. I have 9 different Interstate batteries in various vehicles. All were tested in the vehicle before being replaced by your various branches. Not sure what this kids issue was, maybe lunch was more important. I left without having them checked. I'm a loyal Interstate customer so his actions won't push me away, I just think it was BS, especially after driving 1400 miles over the past 2 days.

Stopped by the Scott location and placed old mower battery pallet outside business. Proceeded…read moreinside and requested a new replacement. The employee went outside and took numbers off of the old battery. The employee placed new battery on counter and purchase was completed. The battery was installed two weeks later (busy on other projects) and would not turn over mower. Charger was placed on battery and reinstalled. The motor would turn over very slowly. An old battery was then installed and mower started with no problem. The new battery was taken back and the same employee checked the functionality and it tested. I asked if the new battery could be exchanged for a higher crank rated one. I was informed that they would only give the value of a core.I even offered to pay the difference in cost between the two and was told only the core charge would apply! This is very poor service as for the technician is the person that determined the cranking amps of the original battery. I can get this type of service from a box store and save $$$.

Bizarre experience. The older man apparently running the place, under direction of some…read moremissing-in-action owner, was bored, or not able to focus at his age. I'm not sure which. He searched in an old book on the floor behind the counter for a battery for my Polaris Ranger Sportsman. Found it in there somewhere, and puttered to the door to the back room, and said some battery code, "b12" or something, to some worker bee in the back. This dude brings up a big box just as the old man was stuttering his way through the credit card machine, bumbling and mumbling, and rang up the bill on my Amex. I opened the box and it was obviously not even close to the right battery. I knew the dude(s) were both way over their heads and didn't have a clue what they were doing. The old man with barely a word voided the charge on my card and staggered back over to the desk, shuffling almost like he was about to fall over. His long hair hung around him and probably blocked his vision some too. I felt sorry for the old man and just slipped out the door to not bother him anymore. This business is not somewhere to go to buy a battery. Which is a shame, since it's all they do.

Initial impressions where pleasantly surprising to say the least, the waiting room is not what I'd have expected in a tire shop. Beautifully decorated like someone wanted you to enjoy your stay, a touch of home feel to it. The facility was spotless with a smell worth mentioning as it was wonderful! Everyone was respectful and polite; they absolutely went out of their way to accommodate my needs which even involved staying after hours one day. Then he says he called and I got 100$ in fuel which is bs because he can't show me a receipt and then wouldn't give me the number for the support center he supposedly called. He's naturally from another country. This one is definitely not one of the cleanest I've experienced in my travels but my agenda was to fuel up and get back on the interstate as quick as possible - the fumes of the spilled diesel was pretty strong and the entire big rig fuel island was dirty and most of the amenities were absent or empty (no paper towels, no hand sanitizer the windshield washer buckets were dirty and mostly empty). If I made this trip again I'd probably pick another place to fuel up and avoid this place altogether, the entrance was fairly easy access but the traffic on the front road was pretty frustrating when I went to exit. I only interacted with the staff at the fuel counter they got the job done but was less than enthusiastic to say the least...
