They brought my truck right in and installed the cover quickly. I was in and out inside of thirty minutes. Pricing was upfront and easy to understand. Shop is clean and the people are nice, professional, experienced and knowledgeable. I am a happy customer.

At first, I had my son bring the truck in to look at the cap, where, after inspecting it, they recommended I schedule a follow-up appointment to get it repaired. I later brought the truck back myself for that appointment, and after no more than eight minutes of looking at it- I was told the cover was completely unrepairable and considered "trash." Despite this, the shop was not even willing to take it off my hands, and I had to drive the truck home with the cap on it, broken. After the frustrations of my time being wasted just to be told the cover was trash, I prepared to throw it out. My son, however, refused to believe that it was truly broken, and recommended I try bringing it to another truck cap shop instead. I ended up visiting Cap World in Salem, New Hampshire; and their staff evaluated the truck right away, finding that only issue (literally, only one), was a cracked hinge. They recommended I order a new one from Leer and install it myself. Less than 20 minutes after the part had delivered, I had replaced the hinge myself, and the cap worked perfectly. I should also note I am not a mechanic or engineer, this was as simple as a task could get. Based on my experience with Yankee, one of two things happened: Their staff were either incompetent, or they simply did not want to do the repair. If it was the latter, I wish they'd been honest from the start instead of sending me on an extra hour of driving for an appointment that was completely useless. I'd recommend others save themselves the trouble, and visit another shop instead.

Shame on you Budget, you should be embarrassed. There's and…read moreimplied trust when renting a vehicle that it is mechanically sound, clean and able to safely make the journey. Budget failed on all three. I rented a cargo van that was to go from New Hampshire to Texas. Exterior - the van was in terrible condition with numerous dents and side panels missing. No way to check all of them off so I took a video of the damage. The tires were borderline at best. No other vans available so I was stuck with it, it doesn't have to be pretty, just safe and able to make the trip. Interior - filthy, empty water bottles in the back, French fries, sugar packets scattered about. Obviously, this had not been cleaned. Again, nothing else available, I guess I'll clean it, especially the steering wheel which was gross to the touch. A dozen moving blankets were reserved but none available, The owner said I could go into his shed, there may be 2 or 3 blankets I could take. Again, dirty. Off I went to drive 20 miles to my loading spot, along the way a very suspect noise in the rear of the van. I'm not a mechanic but this noise was obvious and clearly an issue. When I got where I was going, I called customer service, they were useless, said I had to go through the renting site. Call the renting site, again, useless, said all he does is provide the van, (he clearly didn't clean it or even look at it. Didn't leave his little shed once) "I'm just a small businessman; I don't work for Budget call roadside assistance." So I did, a mechanic will be out within 2 hours to look at it they said. They were to contact me with an ETA shortly. After about 1 1/2 hours of silence I called them back. They offered some excuse and said they are trying to find someone. A few minutes later I get a text saying the third party tech was on his way. I responded and asked the tech if he could call me. Wade immediately called and I explained what the issue was. He was able to quickly diagnose the potential issue and said he was going to arrange a replacement, by this time it was late in the day Friday and it wouldn't be until the next morning. I was fine with that. Throughout this entire debacle Wade was the one positive experience. He was competent and did what he said he was going to do, followed up, and he cared (which was a first with any Budget contact). Thank you Wade! At about 11pm that evening I got a phone call from Budget, saying the tech is looking at the van, was unable to discern anything from the exterior walk around and wanted to know where the key was. I looked outside; there was no one there. The caller verified the street address, which was correct but indicated MAINE not Massachusetts! I explained that everything was in process and wherever this person supposedly was they wasted their time and more of mine. But seriously what are chances of the exact address in a different state with a budget cargo van parked outside? There was never anybody. Next day the working van was dropped off and exchanged while I was out. This van actually worked and had decent tires. But again, needed a cleaning although not as bad as the first one. I can say when I dropped it off in Texas it was much cleaner than when I picked it up. So, yes, shame on you Budget for providing a substandard and potentially unsafe vehicle to a customer that was driving your product 2,000 miles. I had another truck scheduled for August, but as you can easily understand, I cancelled it. NEVER again will I rent anything from Budget, never.
