I immediately told them to stop, and put the pieces of the car they took off back on the car. I then went to my regular mechanic and told him what they tried to do. He put it up on the lift and found NOTHING WRONG with the car. He said that they were most likely trying to get me to pay for an unnecessary repair. And not to mention, they wanted over $100 for an oil change on a Kia Sorento. I understand that I pay a premium for a quicky oil change, but almost $30 more than what the mechanic charges is a little excessive. Take your car somewhere else.

They did my oil change very quickly and had me back on the road in minutes. I'm glad they have a location where I'm at in West Virginia. The employees were also really personable and friendly and did a great job taking care of my car since I have been kind of neglecting it since leaving Oklahoma. Definitely recommend and will be using them for all of my oil changes while I'm in the area.

I showed up shortly after 8 on a Monday and they were already busy. Several people were in the waiting area/lobby and two were ahead of me in line. The staff worked quickly to get through every customer and in a friendly and professional manner. You can tell the owners really make an effort to be personable and make connections with their customers. My inspection lasted about 35 minutes and unfortunately I didn't pass. They explained every detail to me and called me later to provide a quote for the service. It seemed like the prices for parts and labor were fair. They were upfront with me when I asked a series of clarifying questions and helpful in determining the best path to take. I'll certainly be a repeat customer. Note: they do have dogs in the lobby/waiting area. So, if you're allergic or not fond of them, maybe find a different mechanic.

However, since the ownership changed hands in the past year it is not the same place. They price gouge and scam now. Had a tail light replaced there a few months back and I waited over a month for the part to come in and then ended up paying over 100 more than the price the origoinally quoted. I had decided not to go back after that. But I needed my state inspection done and wasn't able to get in anywhere else so I gave them another chance today. They failed my state inspection saying my tail light was "staying on" and quoted 150 dollars an hour to diagnosis the issue. I left. I had my tail light checked at another place and there is nothing wrong with it. I will NEVER give any business to weirton tire again.
