And also very very kind and greeted me with a smile. I sat down and the threader asked me what kind of shape I wanted. I just went with my natural shape because I didn't know much about eyebrows. The threading process did hurt a little bit (after all you're getting your eyebrows plucked) but she tried her best to accommodate the pain. Afterwards, you're offered a soothing cream for the skin and makeup to hide the redness. They think of everything! Your 5th touchup is free so that will come in handy soon~ Overall, I like this place. From the outside, it looks like a really cheap and dingy salon. They could definitely do with a bit of expansion because of how tiny it is, but they do a great job and the customer service was lovely.

I was happy with the service in the city and happy again when visiting their own salon in Armadale. Like the other reviewers, I have to say the service was brilliant and the lovely owner was very accommodating in getting me an appointment at the last minute. I recommend doing the polite thing and calling ahead, they will call you back the second they can fit you in or have a cancellation. Easy and saves the awkwardness if you walk in and they are booked solid. Unfortunately my eyebrows did not grow back where they needed to, but they were still great at doing the best with what I have an offering advice of what to do makeup wise to lengthen them and even them out. I know there's plenty of places that do threading for around $25 but for the confidence, I'm happy to pay the $10. They will give you a loyalty card and every 5th one is free, so you're actually only paying $28 per service in the long run. Overall, very happy with the service and will continue to frequent.

When I came back I wasn't kept waiting and the whole process took about 10 mins. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and profession and it was clean and hygienic. The process didn't leave residual colour all over my eye area as sometimes happens. Nothing got in my eyes that shouldn't and I felt Danni knew what she was doing and did it well. I think my eye lashes look amazing and I will be back. There are a lot of beauty saloon type places at Chadstone but I would come back here next time and recommend them to others.

I have been a client of Brow Theory for a while, but unfortunately I had never been able to fill my card with enough stamps to claim a freebie, because with a schedule that's a bit all over the place and haphazard beauty routine - I rarely found myself with enough time to get out to Armadale or remember in time to book in one of the popular Wednesday/Friday sessions they did at Miss Fox. Having tried other places more convenient to me in the meantime and having suffered from uneven brows and horrible patchy red skin for up to a week following, I was thrilled to see them open a permanent home in the CBD. This will forever be my go-to now and I *may* even maintain the things now instead of waiting for them to be gross to get them fixed! I popped in today for their opening special to get a full shape up before having lunch with my best friend. The only girl I would let lunch with me with firey-red patchy skin. Only I didn't have that problem. In fact she commented that apart from being meticulously neat, she couldn't even tell that I just had them done. Brow win. The staff are incredibly lovely and good at what they do. My brows are an awkward shape and will never grow properly thanks to a bad waxing job as a teenager, but the girls always discuss what they're going to do to make them as even as possible to make me feel comfortable before they attack them with thread. The manager then proceeded to try to deflect the blame onto the first piercings, again done at Frankston. There was no mention that her first holes were in the incorrect position until we returned to the store & if this is the case the seconds should have been placed accordingly, not with a visibly difference gap between the 2 piercings on each side. When authorising the pen marks, my daughter & I would have been looking at the placement of the seconds not the gap that was in between the firsts & seconds on each side. The manager did not want to listen, all she wanted to do was talk over the top of me & blame the customer for a job that had been poorly performed. When trying to deflect the situation onto the first piercings what the manager did not realise was that the first piercings were also done at Frankston also, so they have not only incorrectly pierced my child one but twice now in my opinion. I found the manager very unprofessional, upon returning to the store my daughter was visibly distort & had been in tears & the manager's attitude proceeded to further traumatise my daughter. What the staff & owner of this salon do not understand is that the managers failure to handle this situation correctly gives every Essential Beauty store a bad name. I have had my eyebrows done at Mornington & I'm not sure I will be returning to that store either. Further to this instead of the store or head office calling or contacting me via email after asking for my details, I had to contact them to be told that the store owner had spoken to the staff & they were happy the piercing were correct. I believe maybe they should have bother to contact the customer as promised via phone or email, as only one side of the storey has been heard.......I have since paid a professional piercer to remove the incorrect earring & have the piercing corrected and yes they agreed that the piercing was placed in the incorrect position.......It was not far out, however due to the bruising caused by the piercing gun used it may have appeared to the manager that the piercing concerned may have been placed correctly (I give her the benefit of the doubt here). This whole situation could have been handled in a different manner, not leaving a 14 year old child extremely distort. All it would have taken was a little bit of good will & for the staff to offer to re-pierce one ear & place the piercing in the correct position. It seems to be the practice even for beauty services to take your money first & carry out treatment 2nd.....I ask "Where does this leave you if the work is unsatisfactory?" Upon speaking with others & reading the reviews, please be very weary of having any piercing or beauty services carried out @ Essential Beauty Frankston. Please note: I gave head office & Essential Beauty @ Frankston ample opportunity to contact me via phone or email to fix this situation prior to posting this review.

It's cheaper than some others in the vicinity too, I pay $22 and in my opinion they provide an all round better service. There's also a loyalty system, with your 7th threading free. The staff are always ridiculously happy and friendly, I walk out of there with a smile - and some very fine brows. The ladies will ask how you'd like your brows styled, checking after each brow that you're happy. Don't worry if you're a newbie, I have taken plenty of people here to have their first threading experience and the staff are always happy to provide some friendly guidance. The store can be a little tricky to locate as it's tucked down Royal Arcade, you can access from Bourke Street Mall or Elizabeth Street. I don't make an appointment and haven't had to wait longer than 5 mins.
