As a guest, I was approached in a manner that felt like a direct question of my presence--asking for my name and whether I was a member. This encounter felt like racial profiling, especially as I was the only Latino person there at the time. The lack of sensitivity from the staff was astounding. Instead of offering me a free trial day, which they advertise, they chose to question my legitimacy. The gym was virtually empty, with no employees around to assist or engage positively with patrons. To add to my discomfort, the owner had their young children running around while people were trying to work out. This was not only inappropriate but also showcased a lack of professionalism. Ultimately, my partner and I were unjustly kicked out, despite having guest privileges. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and reflects poorly on their customer service. No one should feel unwelcome or judged while trying to maintain their health and fitness. The…read moregym does cost more than others around, but the amenities are worth it (free locker service, free towel service, child care, etc.) Also, The Club has first-rate equipment, and it's definitely one of the classiest looking gyms I've ever visited. As for programs and equipment, The Club at Oak Branch has Les Mills fitness classes (BodyPump, BodyAttack, BodyStep, etc.), they have a large pool (I think it's Olympic sized, but don't quote me on that one-- it's huge, though), a nice cardio room with plenty of treadmills, elliptical machines, etc., and a weight room. They also have a unique program for young athletes called Parisi Speed School, which is a program designed to help athletes improve athletic performance, maximize their natural abilities, develop a higher level of self-confidence, and learn to prevent injury. If you live in the Greensboro area, check out The Club at Oak Branch or their sister site, The Club at Green Valley. Both locations are great.! Crunch Fitness in Greensboro is a great gym, especially for the price and what you get. The…read moremembership is $31 a month, and it includes all classes, which is a huge plus. No extra fees or upgrades just to participate. One of the best features is that childcare is included. The kids room is available from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and children as young as 12 years old are allowed to work out on the gym floor. You can also bring a guest with you every day, which adds a lot of value. The hours of operation are very convenient: Weekdays: 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM Weekends: 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM The customer service was amazing. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and took the time to give a full tour. They also offer a 3-day free pass, which is a nice touch. Since this is a new Greensboro location, everything feels fresh and well maintained. The only downside for me was the sauna--I didn't like it in either the women's or men's restroom, and that area could definitely be improved. Overall, Crunch Fitness offers great value, flexible hours, helpful staff, and solid amenities. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

Instead, I ended up with a 1.5 hour sales pitch for expensive personal training. They wanted me to commit to 4 sessions a month, 1 hour each for 3 months at $240 per month. When this pitch finally ended, I had to go back to work, so no workout. Went the next day around 4:30pm and it was busy but not crowded. Next day around the same time, HOLY CRAP!! So busy there was nowhere to park with a dozen cars circling the lot. I got lucky and found a spot. This place has been crazy busy ever since. They paved for more parking but it's still difficult. I can only imagine how pissed the other businesses are about the parking. I know this is a large branded gym and it's January when everyone vows to get healthy, but I didn't expect it to be like it is. Mostly the under 30 crowd filming workouts using tripods and posting to socials. People everywhere, hard to get on equipment, people wandering around aimlessly. Since starting my membership I have been emailed repeatedly about the expensive personal training to the point it's irritating. Again, I know gyms are busy in January, but this place is chaos. Classes started last week and they book up immediately and they are wall to wall people. I cancelled my membership today and will go elsewhere. Good luck if you join here.

I then saw that they had me set up for monthly recurring payments on their app and when I told them that this isn't supposed to be a recurring payment they told me I signed a contract. I did give my electronic signature for waiver but I never agreed to be charged monthly and now they want me to pay more money to cancel the membership I never signed up for. They told me what I wanted to hear in order to get my card information and now they are saying I have to pay more money in order for them to stop charging me.
