Absolutely the worst, and a genuine health hazard. While it has good natural light, the cleanliness is terrible (dust and dead insects). ​No AC: The air conditioning has been broken in 2/3 of the gym for over 18 months, relying only on a few fans. The heat and humidity are dangerous, especially for the large senior population that trains here. ​Plumbing Disasters: Raw sewage flooded the ladies' locker room, and they didn't even replace the carpet. Only one sink works, and port-a-potties have been sitting in the parking lot for most of 2026, creating a foul odor on hot days. Its clear that corporate O2 just doesn't care. Avoid! read more

Great location and the facility is now being kept clean and maintained. Recent plumbing problems have been resolved. The equipment is adequate and generally in good condition. There is an indoor track as well as 2 'turfs' for functional training in addition to the fitness class studio, cardio area and the machines/free weights area. The personal training staff is a major plus. The personal trainer I'm with (Lauren E.) is excellent and I highly recommend her. She has worked with me to correct some balance issues, incorrect techniques in exercises, provided good stretching and flexibility instruction (which I needed), all while keeping the sessions fun and focusing on my specific needs/situation. I used to love this gym. Unfortunately they don't care about members or instructors comfort and even replied to my complaint about the group fitness room being cold that once the workout begins, members should generate the heat to warm up the room. Um, during a yoga class? On a 38°day? It's unacceptable! The staff is great and there are EXCELLENT instructors. I hope O2 makes the repairs before they decide to teach elsewhere. read more

The management is not caring for this facility at all. The plumbing has been broken for months so there are no toilets. On top of that, the toilets flooded into the kids care, soaking the carpet and floor of the kids care with filth-water. Subsequently my child and multiple others came down with horrible illness. I've been a member for nearly 3 years now and I have never experienced such unprofessionalism as I have lately. My child who is 4 yrs old has also been going since the beginning. The last couple months has been an absolute disaster at this location. There has been a plumbing issue for months with things getting pretty severe the last couple weeks. The kids club which is used daily by many children had sewage overflow seep into the room which is entirely carpeted. Multiple people witnessed them temporarily close the kids club and use only towels and fans in what I assume was an attempt to dry the carpet- NOONE saw any professional cleaners or cleaning products being used. Within the last 2 weeks multiple children have reported being sick due to coming in contact with some sort of contaminate including my own. I, myself who is 18 weeks pregnant had to go to the doctors earlier this week for being sick they confirmed I probably came into contact with the same contaminant as my son. We have talked to the teachers and staff about concerns being told multiple times that things are being done but seeing no real solutions happening. As of today we have been told that management has no intentions of replacing the carpet. The blatant disregard for our children's health and safety is extremely alarming. Not to mention that the actual locker rooms have flooded with sewage and also have carpeting.... This gym is full of older people and parents with children. It's disgusting that the safety of their members is being disregarded for whatever reasons. They are able to rent bathrooms and have multiple plumbing companies come in but can't put in the time or money to change out the kids club carpet? I can no longer support this location and honestly I don't even want to support this company but like I said I've been a member for years and haven't had issues like this at any other locations. Between a formal complaint to the health department and this public review I am hoping this will get the attention of someone higher up and maybe something can be done. read more

Had the absolute worst experience at this gym with management. Called the head office every day for a week and left messages and emails with nobody following up. Had been a member for 6 years and overlooked a lot because of convenience. Now that I've found another nearby gym I am shocked that a newer, better gym is significantly cheaper than O2 with way more amenities. O2 is extremely overpriced with zero amenities. They also recently got all "new" equipment but it is all just used equipment from other gyms bc all the seats have scratches and rips. Not at all uncommon to see dead cockroaches on the floor. So glad I've found found another gym with all the upgrades for less! read more

This location is lacking a lot compared to Brier Creek and even Brennan station. Gentlemen who cleans at night walks the track, is on his cell phone, and talks to himself when walking by. Will make snarky remarks as he walks by you. Made me feel highly uncomfortable. Stopped going to this location as a result. read more

Really nice equipment with a lot of variety. I like that I can use 3-4 different machines to target a specific muscle so I don't have to wait on just one machine. The staff is really friendly and the gym is very clean and provides spray bottles and paper towels to ensure members have sanitized equipment. I highly recommend O2 Fitness in North Ridge. read more

0/10 would recommend. I had a friend join, then 3 months later they closed their closest location and refused to break the contract. Because my friend is within "8 miles of another location" the only option was to pay out the rest of the year to cancel for $400+ or "provide proof of relocation more than 30 miles away from one of our clubs." I'm writing this to discourage members from joining a gym with this type of business practices. It's unethical to run promotions and trap someone into a contract and close the location they based their decision around. I understand 15 min is still not a long drive to workout, but that does not mean it's acceptable to close a location and not offer your customer some form of relief. read more

This used to be Peak Fitness way back in the day. Much nicer now but has a lot of minor issues to work out. First, the lack in variety of cardio equipment. The handful of elipticals are not made for someone over 6 feet tall, if you are be prepared to hit your knees on the front many times. Lots of treadmills but I hate running. The placement of the TV's is weird. If you aren't in the back of the room you literally have to look straight above you to see them. Not sure why they chose these and not TV's on the machines themselves. And speaking of TVs, none have the closed captions on so not sure what the point of having them is? Oh, and bring a watch, I only saw 2 little clocks on the walls. The weight machines are fancy, but fancy isn't always good. I prefer the machines at the YMCA. Also they only have one of each basic muscle group. I could see having to wait a lot for machines if it's busy. There is a lot of wasted space here so they could add more and I hope they do. The place seemed clean but it's new. And unlike the previous reviewer I found the staff to be friendly. Hopefully they work the kinks out, because this location is convenient to my job. read more

If you take a hasty tour of this place, you might be bamboozled into thinking it's a good facility; it's not. I had a brief conversation with another member (who also has a review here) and one of the worst things about this gym is the positioning of the front desk and the training desk. If you're doing cardio or lifting in the back, the bored staff are always staring at you; I don't know anyone who enjoys being stared at. The trainer Natasha and most of the other staff are great people, but they all seem to be extremely bored. Beware of a front desk thing using the name of Mariah--she is mentally unstable and suffers from some narcissistic affliction; bless its heart. If you come in at peak hours (1700-1830) you'll probably see a grand total of ten people In the gym. This can be a make or break moment for you. The traffic has picked up slightly since O² closed a location that Life Time slowly strangled out of business, and O² couldn't afford to renew the lease. The equipment choices are pretty pitiful for a brand new gym. The plate-loaded leg press is a rock bottom cheap unit as are the cable stations (as well as their handles and bars). The free weights are fine, I think the max was 100 and the minimum was 10. There aren't any incrementals here (e.g. 12.5, 27.5) like at a more professional gym. There are bumper plates up to 100 pounds, a nice addition. And since it's never busy, you have free reign to deadlift or do cleans anywhere in the gym! There are no olympic platforms here because they're too expensive for O² to lease. Yes, most of the cheap equipment you see is leased. LED lighting bars in the weight area are poorly positioned, so they're blinding to anyone on a bench. If there was ever a place to wear sunglasses indoors, this would be it. Cardio equipment is meh/nothing special. The TVs in the cardio section are all on sports, with some being reruns from weeks previous. And, yes, there's no closed captioning, so the TVs are pretty worthless. I don't personally watch, but some people may wish to. There was a GHD back in the "turf" area, but they decided to take it to Charleston, SC. Tsk, tsk, tsk. The locker room is, in typical O² fashion, extremely rookie in execution. The sinks are residential grade and feature extremely low water pressure. The showers are shielded with mismatched shower curtains and $2 tension rods (no joke). There's only one functional shower in the men's locker room (the very first one). The rest of the showers feature a shower head that sprays onto the shower curtain and out into the aisle. The showers are also partitioned with toilet partitions. Like I've said before, if you've been a member at a gym that has policies and procedures and a consistent set of procedures, this place will resemble a rural zoo in Laos. The towels are disgusting and will leave you covered in lint because they're so cheap. I've seen better towels while working in federal detention centers!!! If you think this review is too detailed, I don't apologize. All of these things add up to a poor atmosphere which is cause a business to fail miserably or teeter on failure. I predict this facility will either shut down or rethink its layout later this year (2018). Crunch will open three locations nearby and Life Time will be opening an additional two locations over the next two years. I understand that some of you think O² is "state of the art" and that's cute, but O² is only state of the art if you're comparing it to a ten year old apartment gym. I mean, to each their own... Some people think Red Lobster is gourmet eating. The O² farther north on Falls (now closed, lolollllolollol) had older equipment but it was marginally better. Oh, and if you're having a problem of being billed after canceling your membership, just ask for Vic's email (corporate) and send him an email talking about how dirty and terrible O² is. He gets butthurt and takes everything personally and will immediately revoke your membership and half billing. Perfect way to cancel!!!!!! read more

Very professional gym with trainers that are friendly and well informed. The members are friendly too. The classes alone are worth the price of membership. Before covid there was a generous amount of classes that varied and hopefully this will continue after covid. The club has a vast amount of machines and plenty of open space for individual workouts. Surprised by the low reviews of this place, as I think it's a great gym! I'm writing this review based on my personal needs and expectations of a gym-- I am not a professional athlete, I don't need a personal TV on cardio equipment, and am not comparing it to a Mega Gym like Lifetime Fitness, whose membership rates are probably double. Pros: - Brand-new equipment. Love the little fans on the cardio equipment! - I've never had to wait for a piece of equipment. - Child care available! The people who provide the child care are wonderful, sweet people. - Natasha is an excellent trainer! She kicks my butt. All other trainers seem very good, too. - Parking is easy - you're in and out, no circling the lot hoping for a spot. - Fairly quiet (music playing, but not obnoxious) - Unlimited free classes - Doesn't feel overcrowded by machines or people (plenty of room) - Value Cons: - The biggest bummer to me: Timing of group classes. The majority of classes are offered in the middle of the day, a major drawback for working folk like myself. - Personal training pricing seems a bit high, though I can't speak to what other gyms charge. - Relatively short child care hours; none on Sunday. Childcare ends right at the end time of Yoga on Mondays, so if class runs late...? - No pool, if that's your thing. Overall, I recommend this place!! Go check it out. read more

Just visited this location and was very disappointed. This location has not been open a week and it is dirty. When I say dirty, I mean construction dirty. It looks like they were in a rush to open the place. Plus there was a dead cockroach on the floor in the weight area. Also, they have a lot of staff members but no one says a word to you when you come in or are on the floor. One lady just followed around a kid that was cleaning the machines. The only reason I give it 1 star was because of the weight room side of the gym. Nice equipment. The cardio area is weak. The other locations have treadmills and other equipment with personal tv's. At this location you don't. The men's room has two sinks with terrible water pressure. Overall, I'll stick to the Brennan Station or 540 location. read more

i think some of these reviews are bogus. I use the cardio area at least 3 times a week and tvs are tuned to sports, news (FOX, MSNBC, and CNN) and have closed caption on news. The weight machines are more than adequate, showing both reps and interval periods ... and there are many of them. They are new. There is also an indoor track, which i like. Read these reviews carefully and then pay the the place visit. I have been a member of this location since the mid 90's when it was The Spa Health Club and I do miss the pool, steam, sauna, and hot tub. But when are complaining about people staring at them, showerheads that should be redirected, cheap shower rods, low water pressure in a sink (not true) and writes a very long nit picking review- you should be suspicious as to the writer's intent. My only concern is that this facility reaches a sustaining level of membership so it remains open. read more

I'm definitely going to agree with a couple of the other reviews here... I tried this location about a month or so ago, and was incredibly disappointed. While I'm overall not a huge fan of the O2 fitness clubs in general, I did have higher hopes since this club was brand new. The location is definitely award... there's hardly any signage to the front door. The facility is definitely dirty, the changing rooms/restrooms aren't kept up at all. The room where fitness classes are held had improper heating, and one TINY heater was the best they were willing to do. Whenever I signed up to be an O2 member, the general manager told me they were a step above in cleanliness, professionalism, and reliable equipment.. unfortunately, none of those have held out to be true for any of the o2 fitness locations. The staff never greet you when you walk in the door, and if we're being honest...the only reliable and professional thing about the gym are the fitness instructors- who are just all around great people and super helpful. Anyway, looking back- I'd definitely join Lifetime fitness or the YMCA instead. read more

I have been a member of the gyms operating at this location since 1984 and it is state-of-the-art and better than ever. I invite my friends to join me at every opportunity.
