I loved viewing the daily photos and videos of my dog--seeing how they work with each dog really shows their deep understanding of dog behavior. Madison was amazing to work with. She's patient, genuine, and always took the time to answer my questions. Her detailed notes after each session made it so easy to keep up with training at home. My dog trusted her right away and was excited for day training every morning. Over the program, she learned proper leash manners and became noticeably calmer and more confident. I'd absolutely work with Madison again and highly recommend Smart K9 Training to anyone looking for knowledgeable, caring, and effective trainers.

My dog got kennel cough in less than two weeks of being at this facility, I am fairly sure it was from there because he does not go anywhere expect my house and back yard because he is reactive and thats why we were starting training. The vet said he should not be around other dogs for 3-4 week and the owner encouraged me to bring him back while he would still would be contagious! I doubt they told the other owners that are currently enrolled that there dogs were exposed to kennel cough! Because of thier very concerning reaction to our dog getting sick and how they handled it I don't want to take him back there and they are unwilling to give any money back for services that were not preformed and are unwilling to talk! please read that contract very carefully if for any reason your dog got killed or lost or anything nothing is on them and you would still owe them thousands of dollars.

We have used Fetchers for several years and our pets typically come home with minor issues - eye…read moreinfection, ear infection, kennel cough (once), but our recent visit was SIGNIFICANTLY different. After a 5 day boarding stay, our large dog came home with a partially ripped out toenail, red and inflamed toes on another foot, an eye infection, an ear infection, and punctures and deep tissue bruising on his neck from an e-collar. After a very expensive visit to the vet, we learned that he also has a staph infection on his feet and neck. While I understand that minor injuries can and do happen when dogs play, these are outside of the realm of what I would consider acceptable. Shannon, the manager, was responsive and accountable, which is why I am giving a two star review as opposed to one star. Her communication was professional and she followed up daily to check on our dog. Jack, the owner, was accusatory and went so far as to suggest that we caused the injuries to our own dog. He spent 40 minutes telling me that they have excellent quality control and that their staff finds injuries and doesn't cause them. At one point I had to get my husband on the phone to attest to the fact that he removed our dog's e-collar the day of pickup, which is absolutely ridiculous. When Jack asked me how I knew that the injuries happened at his facility, I responded that our dog arrived without injuries and was picked up with injuries. I am not sure that it can get more clear than that. I am hugely disappointed in Jack's refusal to take responsibility or handle my concerns with even the smallest amount of compassion. He swiftly and effectively removed any consideration I had of continuing our boarding relationship with Fetchers. This whole ordeal has cost us nearly $1,500 and begrudgingly Fetchers has agreed to pay $554 of one of the vet bills, as well as a credit on account for a future visit. Jack was condescending, insensitive, and refused to take any sort of accountability for my dog's injuries. If you choose to use this facility, beware.

Excitingly, I told the lady I was coming from Canada (4 hours away) to come get him and I will see her soon. I packed up my kids and headed down. My kids and I discuss puppy duties, names, and how much we are going to love this dog as part of the family. We get to the store and there is a SOLD sign on his window. Thought that was cute and I went to claim him. Only that, someone put him on hold. I was not informed on how to put him on hold and would have, to ensure my 4 hour ride (8 round trip) would ensure we had our new puppy. The staff working ignored me and avoided me. This would have been an appropriate time for them to try and offer another puppy. Ask us to hold and bond with another puppy... the very least an apology, something to help lessen the blow. Nothing. I was ignored, avoided, mislead. Drove home 4 hours with broken hearts

I made the mistake of stopping in this place looking for a puppy back in early fall. Once I held…read morethe puppy I was lost to it but took the time to think about it. So I came back the next day and that one was gone but the sister was still there and I took her. When I asked for information on the breeder, they stated that they could not give it out which I felt was odd. I went ahead and got the puppy. Looked healthy and acted normal. I get her home, she was fine until two weeks later and ended up in the ER due to continual vomiting and diarrhea. They x-rayed her and saw what might be a problem and needed to do surgery on her. It turns out to be worm inpaction to the point that it was causing blockage. A very expensive fix. I called the store to inform them of the situation, because it is up to the breeder to be worming their puppies and then the store needs to be sure that is being done. (I did make an appt with my vet for a well-puppy check when I purchased the puppy but not for a couple of weeks out due to being booked so heavily.) The manager was quite rude and kept bringing the conversation back to it being my fault, etc. I informed him that I was trying to do the right thing by letting him know the situation. Even explained that I was not looking for monetary re-embursement. He did state he would call the breeder and then get back with me but he never did. I learned my lesson from this one. I will never step foot into this pet store again for anything. After my experience, I have heard from other people having similar experiences with their dogs and cats bought from there and some actually dying. My puppy is thriving after the ER surgery and is doing fine. My vet stated that she had to be full of worms before I bought her to become so severe. The manager is definitely not knowledgeable whatsoever on dogs, he could not answer my questions on the routine of worming puppies! Stay away from that place!!!! Too bad I can't give it a zero rating!

So when I showed up for the appointment the girls in the back said they don't have a fax and they don't do that. So I proceeded to tell them someone I spoke to said I could. They said the store doesn't have a fax machine and I had 15 minutes to produce the records or cancel. So I canceled because she was very rude about it. So I went upfront ask the manager cause there was no General Manager at 3pm and he proceeded to tell me he was a supervisor and that he was 3 levels below that and he did make policy and to complain online. So here the nugget of the story that actually have their grooming cards in the grooming area with name number address and fax number on it. They have been doing my 15 year old dog's nail grind for well over a decade. We went today for his "pawdicure," and they informed me that because he has a heart murmur, they will no longer groom him. Odd, considering he has had the same condition since his first visit in 2009. To add insult to injury, the supervisor on shift, Callie, was about the least empathetic person they could have chosen to deliver bad news. Keep in mind I did not raise my voice. I used no profanity. I did not discuss it in front of other customers. Regardless, she advised me of the new policy in such a robotic and uncaring way, even after me discussing the impact on his qualty of life. I can not imagine how she must treat the pets that she grooms. I offered to sign a waiver absolving them of any responsibility, but they refused. Needless to say, I will no longer spend my money here and will go to great lengths to dissuade others from doing so.
