Sorry but I found out why I quite getting grooming done here. I called and they said I could fax my dog records. So when I showed up for the appointment the girls in the back said they don't have a fax and they don't do that. So I proceeded to tell them someone I spoke to said I could. They said the store doesn't have a fax machine and I had 15 minutes to produce the records or cancel. So I canceled because she was very rude about it. So I went upfront ask the manager cause there was no General Manager at 3pm and he proceeded to tell me he was a supervisor and that he was 3 levels below that and he did make policy and to complain online. So here the nugget of the story that actually have their grooming cards in the grooming area with name number address and fax number on it. I am extremely disappointed in Petsmart's new policy, and especially their Groomiing Lead Callie in Fargo, ND. They have been doing my 15 year old dog's nail grind for well over a decade. We went today for his "pawdicure," and they informed me that because he has a heart murmur, they will no longer groom him. Odd, considering he has had the same condition since his first visit in 2009. To add insult to injury, the supervisor on shift, Callie, was about the least empathetic person they could have chosen to deliver bad news. Keep in mind I did not raise my voice. I used no profanity. I did not discuss it in front of other customers. Regardless, she advised me of the new policy in such a robotic and uncaring way, even after me discussing the impact on his qualty of life. I can not imagine how she must treat the pets that she grooms. I offered to sign a waiver absolving them of any responsibility, but they refused. Needless to say, I will no longer spend my money here and will go to great lengths to dissuade others from doing so. read more

First time I made an appointment Grace was so rude to my mom and I, this second time I made an appointment Grace was again extremely rude and because someone quit they didn't have our stuff on file? That isn't my fault! I wouldnt recommend this place and I will make sure everyone I know doesn't go here and knows all this! read more

I brought in my rescue dog, Maggie, who had been abused, to acclimate her for future grooming appointments, and everyone was kind & gentle. Much appreciated. Groomers were helpful in finding the proper brushes for Maggie's care at home too. Thank you all! read more

The groomers who bathed/trimmed my dogs did a great job. One of my dogs was timid at first but was welcomed with lots of gentle pets and acclimated to the environment. They looked and smelled great after their appointment. We will definitely be coming back. read more

There is a new person who is apparently running this store, named Nicole. I don't know where they got her from but wow is she horrible at her job. I come here a lot to food for my animals and she's always either sitting in the office when her coworkers clearly need help or she belittling her staff in from of customers. PetSmart is no longer a place I feel happy or safe to go to anymore because of her. If I was her staff I would be calling HR to report her attitude and behavior towards staff, it is absolutely unacceptable. As a manager myself, if I treated my employees the way she does, id be fired in a split second, maybe that's what she needs. I've heard multiple nasty comments come from her mouth, just belittling and bullying her staff, and when she is asked to help, her favorite line is "well I'm here to run things and I don't have time so don't think that I'll help you" as a manager you MAKE time to help your coworkers, not complain and make them into the bad person. This was a bad move on PetSmart Fargo. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole staff ends up walking one day. Fix your management, the better the management the more people will want to stay. The store itself is good. Can be hard to track down help sometimes but, when you get them to help you they're great! I will not go back to the grooming. Three strikes and you're out in my book. Their customer service is awful and they don't listen to what I want for my dog. Maybe the person who's actually doing the grooming should talk to the dog owner instead of another employee relaying the info to them? Three times now I have picked my dog up and they have done exactly what I asked them NOT to do. Don't expect to feel welcomed when you arrive either. There were three people who came in with their dogs when I was there, we all stood there and not one of the three employees working acknowledged us. One kept grooming a dog, the other two just clipped a dogs nails. No "Hi, we'll be with you in a minute." Nothing. Sadly, one was the manager!! There are many other places that will appreciate my business and actually care about what I want for my dog. read more

Renee did an excellent job grooming our Shih-Tzu. She asked lots of questions to find out what we wanted and his haircut was probably his best ever. He looks and smells great. All the dogs looked well cared for by the techs working. I also appreciate fitting us in on short notice. He really needed a haircut with the warm weather. read more

Gave my dog Benadryl (due to high anxiety per vet orders) and then brought in for a grooming appointment, upon which I was told that he could not be "sedated" according to their policy. Followed by being questioned on my capabilities as a pet owner. Absolutely uncalled for and appalling customer service. My business and my pets will never be brought here again. read more

Nice clean chain store. The staff was friendly and there were people inside that brought their pets.

Went there to get some new fish for my aquarium and all the workers seemed miserable no one even wanted to help me. Finally some helped me and she had no clue how to handle fish. She was really rough with the fish. One of the fish she tried to give me was in the bag upside down. I told her i didnt want that one and she grabbed it woth her hand and threw it from where she was standing back into the tsnk to sell to some one else. I didnt expext much going into the store but damn just because you dont like your job doesnt mean you have to take it out on the fish. Who knows what she does to the other animals and reptiles. I would say stay away from this Petsmart or dont ask for help or buy any fish from there. Stay away from this place. read more

Did a GREAT job on my senior dog. Lefty has tremors and multiple lumps. He always comes home peppy like a puppy. He smells and feels great.

I called last evening to verify my 8 am appointment for 08-04-16 for my 3 dogs. I was told that I did not have an appointment scheduled. I said I called 3 weeks ago to make sure I had their haircuts on Thursday because we start our vacation on Friday. She told me that they put the appointments in their computer while on the phone with the client. It is impossible to make a mistake and not put in the appointment. What she really was saying is that I was lying and just trying to get my dogs in on short notice. This person could have cared less and never even apologized for their mistake. I asked to speak with the store manager and she said I am the store manager. Now we have been going to Pet Smart for 10 years with our various dogs so I would have expected a little more concern. They have treated me terribly since I complained about a haircut they gave my poodle. He had long hair on his ears and two haircuts ago, a student cut about 3 inches off his ears. If I treated a customer like this, I would not have my job very long. Apparently the Fargo store manager needs an attitude adjustment. Will never buy anything again from this place. read more

The grooming area is amazing! Becca is the best with our toy poodle, Lucy! She is wonderful! I just wish it didn't cost so much for such a little dog, I love when they have coupons!
