So good! Delicious! Went there 3 times already, and all of my visits were amazing! Recommend 100%!…read moreLove to support local businesses, and service is always quick and amazing! Ambiance is nice too, as the seating outside provides a nice view!

Let me start with the good: this place looks like it knows what it's doing. The ambiance is simple,…read moretasteful, and well-designed--perfect for a cute dinner out. We were greeted with a smile the second we walked in, and our server was friendly and attentive the whole time. A+ for vibes and service. Now, the food... oof. We started with the appetizer special of the night, which, shockingly, was the best thing we had--and it was aggressively mid. Everything that followed? Two thumbs down. The peas I ordered as a side; I swear were marinated in red onion slivers for several decades. Even after picking out all the visible onion, (as shown in pictures) it still tasted like Shrek's bathwater. If I had ordered this on a first date, I would've just gone home to save us both the trauma of onion breath. There's no way a single person has ever eaten this dish and said, "Wow, that was delightful." I'd actually pay money to see the facial expressions of anyone taking a bite. My partner's mashed potatoes? So dry and dense I could've thrown them at a wall and they'd stick. Come back the next morning and they'd be holding up drywall. Not a single drop of moisture in sight. I asked for crushed red pepper for my flatbread (thinking maybe it could be saved). No - No pepper flakes. Apparently none of their flatbreads are allowed joy or spice. Even if they did have red pepper, I don't think it would've saved it. Best thing we had all night? My partner's chicken. And even that was dry. So, that says a lot. Final verdict: come here for a drink and a snack before going somewhere else for the actual meal. It's a great pregame spot, but if you're hungry-hungry, keep walking.

Atmosphere is lovely and cozy. Bar staff made me a good cranberry old fashioned, the holiday drink. We had the seafood lasagna as entree. Would definitely go back

This place wants to have 5 star quality food with 1 star quality service…read more Came to this place on February 22nd for an anniversary dinner with my wife. We are new to the area and wanted to try a local restaurant. We arrived and sat at the bar and was greeted promptly by the bar tender Richard. He went over the specials and took our drink order. After receiving our drinks we placed our order for an appetizer and 2 entrees. Drinks were good but I couldn't tell you how the food was because after placing our order thats when service took a turn. The place did get busy but it seemed like Richard had no issue accommodating everyone around us at the bar with exceptional customer service even so much as tending to a couple sitting at a table away from the bar. We sat with empty drink glasses for well over 30 minutes while Richard had no issue providing additional rounds of drinks to the couple next to us and everyone else at the bar. No disrespect to the couple next to us but it was apparent that they knew the manager on duty (older gentleman in a black ball cap who came by and chatted them up multiple times) which might explain the exceptional service they received while we were pretty much invisible to the rest of the staff. 50 minutes eventually went by and we still had not gotten our appetizers and drink glasses still remained empty while everyone around was enjoying their's. Eventually we had to stop Richard and ask what was going on with the appetizer he told us it would be up shortly but by then we were ready to pay for the 2 drinks we finished a long time ago and leave. The manager came over after that and all of sudden they wanted to go above and beyond for us when all we wanted to begin with was adequate service, we never came in expecting special treatment like the managers friends sitting next to us. After I explained to him about the blatant disregard we received from Richard, he then back tracked and said "oh well we are swamped right now" but again it seemed like everyone else in the restaurant was receiving adequate and attentive service. I told him I would like to pay for my 2 drinks and leave. He told us not to worry about that and so we left. Total shame even more so because we were very excited to try the food and drinks while spending a good amount of money on it. Not sure why this place fell short on standard customer service but to go that long without even so much as a "can I get anything else for you guys" or just general acknowledgement from the bartender is beyond me. They couldn't so much as provide us with the complimentary bread that everyone else got after being seated.

It's big and spacious has a pool table, darts and some game that reminds me of beer pong. Music was all country which we enjoyed! They do have weekly specials and also events throughout the week. Our server was good. She was nice and friendly. We ended up ordering 3 different entrees. A smash burger which was our first time ever eating one. I guess it's supposed to be a smashed patty but wasn't really that at all. Lacked flavor which was a bummer because that's another highlight of a smash burger. Entree number 2 was the river dawg. It was definitely not what we expected. Wasn't even that good lacked flavor however the hoagie roll was soft and delicious. Last but not least we ordered the yard bird. It was pry the most flavorful thing out of everything. The edge of it was raw but they did end up taking the whole sandwich off the bill. The fries were delicious according to my girlfriend top 5 I didn't eat any so I took her word. Fried pickles were in point the breading wasn't too much or too little weren't salty and the ranch that was served with it was good too wasn't watery. Macaroni and cheese tasted like it was straight out of the stouffers box disappointing. Onion rings were a little crunchy and overdone. All together the food overall was maybe a 5 out of 10. Going to come back to try their wings we love wings.

Automatically we were both blown away by the brilliant comic book themed decor and much more modern looking version of the restaurant we know at home. I had a one topping pizza and was torn between the red base that is one of my favourite red sauces on a pizza and the olive oil base that is decadent and very tasty. This time I went for the traditional sauce and a pepperoni topping but every combination I've had has been fantastic. We also ordered the cheese bread which is french bread covered in cheese served with a pot of red pizza sauce for dipping. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the food at Mellow Mushroom and although we had a small issue with our food when it was brought out the manager was at our table within seconds, and he was able to resolve it in a couple of minutes. We had great service at this location and will certainly be back!! Apologies for no photos of the pizzas we ate them far too quickly!
