Granted there were 6-8 people ahead of me, the staff did a fairly decent job with helping customers. There were about 7-9 guys in there steadily moving around trying to keep things rolling. The other first was going a restaurant that takes reservations and serves their food on plastic plates! That was a first for me. The staff was nice, the vibe is good and food great. I will definitely visit again when in this small South Georgia town. Oh just about everything on the menu is "market price". To my surprise, the parking lot is almost full and people are waiting in the lobby area for tables already. This must be Valdosta's Capital Grille! For dinner I had the Roadhouse Churasco. My flat iron steak was perfect temperature and it was surprisingly tender. The churasco sauce was fabulous too. My loaded mashed potatoes with bacon bits were excellent as well and the bed of rice the steak comes on was so flavorful. My broccoli and carrots were over cooked and dry, however.
