Doctor Dave was great! After 30 hours in the car and sleeping on the in-laws spare bed for a few nights my back was all twisted. He called me back when I left a message and told me he accepted walk-ins. I went right when they opened and was surprised to find several ahead of me but he must have started early. He was great, made me feel very comfortable, asked questions and got to know me. Was very reasonably priced, and did excellent work on my back. He also spent some time on my neck and got me all aligned. Excellent chiropractor! Had a degree from Palmer Chropractic, and we both are from Iowa! Dr. Dave is magic. He keeps the Village running. He's quick and efficient. No appointments needed or costly care plans. This morning I could hardly get out of bed after a six hour flight. Dr. Dave had me right as rain in a few minutes. You don't even need to tell him where it hurts he just knows. After the table adjustment he sits you in a chair to adjust your neck. Today I felt such a release from my neck pain there was like a flow of energy down my spine that gave me goose bumps. Then when I stood up I actually felt much stronger, could glide more gracefully in my stride and immediately stand up straighter. They took me as a walk-in. He and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He adjusted and aligned my back and my knee in minutes. They were affordable, and I felt excellent, so much stronger and pain free for the remainder of my trip and challenging hikes. Warning: Does not take precautions against the covid virus. I was usually the only person in the office with a mask on. And the doctor did not wear one either. Well sure enough after visiting a couple of times this week, I ended up feeling sick. His office is the only place I went to in the last 10 days, so there is a very good chance that I got the virus at his office. I just got my test results and I do have Covid19. Fortunately, I am fully vaccinated, and so far it is like a very bad cold. I called him and let him know I got sick and he was pretty abrupt and seemed not willing to discuss it with me. I suggested he take more care with his patients, but he did not say much. It is kind of surprising that a medical professional is taking such a lackadaisical approach to preventing the spread of this virus. I am sad to say I will not be going back as he was helping my back, but I have a weaker than average immune system, and I do not want to catch anything else. read more
