The house sits on many shaded acres and is a short drive to historic downtown Clarksville. A delicious breakfast of fresh baked bread, Dutch cheese, egg soufflé, sausages, fresh squeezed orange juice, homemade jam, and strong Dutch coffee was served in the dining room. The owners are a lovely African American couple and their decor is exquisite (they have an amazing coffee table in the living room area). When we mentioned we were sort of celebrating my wife's birthday, they upgraded us to a larger room. We enjoyed the grounds and even walked to downtown Durham for dinner. The neighborhood was mostly quiet, excepting a few sirens that you hear in any city and the sleep quality was good. We helped ourselves to some herbal tea and sat out on their porch at night. Breakfast next morning was delicious and we had a nice conversation with the husband. All in all, a lovely experience.

All the rooms are beautiful, well appointed, quiet and spotless. Monica and Daniel, the hosts, are wonderful assuring guests are comfortable and answering any and all questions about the area. Delicious seems lacking as a word when describing Monica's breakfasts. They are always wonderful with an eye towards healthy eating. Very highly recommended.
