I left her one day for daycare just to see how she would do before I had to leave her for an extended stay. When we went for the extended stay she was excited to be there just driving up. when it was time to leave she was happy to see me but was not so traumatized that she went on as normal. I was really happy to see this. The staff is nothing but friendly helpful and accomodating. Will feed on your schedule ( I portioned and labeled in zip lock bags to make it easy.) I beleive the pricing is very fair. I like that they do not let all of the dogs into one play area. My dog loves to play with others but sometimes does not recognize when someone else does not want to play until she gets a face off. Not her fault and I watche her when we are out. I do however spring for the playroom each day for her. I know she cannot wait until I go away again.

We were gone for a whole two & a half days. When I picked him up on the 26th, his face was covered in scratches & cuts! Keep in mind he has stayed at the hotel before & we had no problems. They had no answers for me when we asked what happened to our dogs face! The most they could say was "he may have been sticking his nose through the fence." Okay so why didn't you fix the problem? Why didn't you call me when you noticed his face was messed up? But besides the point, I left my dog with them to be cared for & safe. When I picked him up he should have looked the same as when I left him. When they noticed these marks popping up on his face, the least they could have done was given me a phone call to notify me of this situation! I received nothing so excuse me for being completely shocked when I picked him up & he looked like this. I took him there, trusting these people to make sure he was taken care of! I signed papers stating that i would pay bills up to $2,000 if he needed medical attention that they could take him to a vet, with the okay for the vet to do what he needed to. He should have been taken to a vet when they noticed it getting worse. But instead they left him like this. So when I picked him up & noticed it was getting worse, I took him to the vet. They had to shave one of the spots on the top of his head. He's now being treated for hot spots. He needed to go to the vet while they had him. if they would've taken him when they noticed this, it wouldn't be as bad as it is. The problem could probably be solved by now! I'm furious on why they didn't care for my dog like they should have. & some people may think i'm overreacting but my dog is like my kid. If you took your kid to daycare & he was fine but picked him up looking like this, chances are you wouldn't take him back there & you'd be furious too. So the next time my dog needs to be at a doggy daycare, he will be at an actual vets office. I would strongly suggest this for anyone else that has to put their pets in daycares that way you know they'll be in great hands to be cared for. Thanks for nothing Just Like Home Pet Hotel! This wouldn't have happened if he would've been somewhere like home.

One of my turkeys was sick when I left and unfortunately passed away 2 days into my vacation. These wonderful ladies actually held him as he passed away and took care of his body. Luke is an almost 8 year old Golden Retriever that I rescued when he was 2 years old. For the past five years, I poured everything I had into helping him, but there were some things I simply couldn't overcome on my own. Luke wasn't just anxious-he was an extreme anxiety case. He has severe storm and crate anxiety, had broken out of multiple crates and severely injuring himself in the process, and had a bite history. He struggled with strangers, especially men, and I honestly wasn't sure anyone could help him at his age. From day one, Ray approached Luke with incredible patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to understand Luke - not just apply a one size fits all training program. He learned what motivated Luke and adjusted his training to hit him. The transformation has been incredible. Luke can now calmly settle in a crate, has learned to stay focused on me instead of his surroundings, and is so much more confident around people. Just as importantly, Ray taught me how to better understand Luke's body language and redirect him before he becomes overwhelmed. He didn't just train my dog, he taught me how to help him succeed. I was terrified to send Luke to board and train. I was worried he would bite Ray (he definitely tried a few times), shut down, or feel abandoned. Instead, Ray kept me updated, showed incredible patience, and never gave up on him. The biggest testament to Ray's work is their relationship. Luke has always struggled with men, but now he gets excited every time he sees Ray. The first time I dropped him off to board after training, he happily walked right inside with Ray and didn't even look back at me. That moment meant everything. Ray makes training fun, and the dogs genuinely love him. Beyond the training, Ray has given me something priceless: peace of mind. For years, I avoided vacations and taking any time away because I never trusted anyone to keep Luke safe. Now I finally have someone I trust completely. I met with several trainers before finding Ray, but something never felt right until I met him. If you have a dog with anxiety, fear, or behavior challenges, don't give up. The vet gave Max a thorough once over and also discovered the heart worms Max was diagnosed with one year ago (I adopted him as a rescue) are still present.
