While waiting on AAA I called les schwab and got an outrageous quote on tires and terrible customer service. Then I called tires direct and they saved the day for us! They were very reasonable and very kind. Once the car was towed to their place they got right to business and replaced not just the flat but also the other back tire since it needed replacement! They check the brakes which were good because some other shop told me my brakes were low but the checked them and said they still had 60-70% I didn't believe them at first but when they took them off and showed me the old one and said I don't mind taking your money but I like to be honest so if you want me to charge you I will but I like to be honest you don't need them right now. So the just put my old brakes back on didn't even charge me did the alignment and the new tires got me all setup and done. Really honest guys the office guy and the techs outside. After getting my truck home, I notice a clunking / metallic sound coming from the under carriage. I called Steve's and spoke with Jason who advised me to bring it back in, which I did after the weekend. They confirmed the noise after a test drive and determined that bolts were loose on the transmission mounting bracket. They rectified the problem without charge. It was a hassle free experience, except for the problem itself. How the bolts came to be loose, I don't know, but the issue was handled. I have been going to Steve's for my service needs and they are always courteous, professional, and honest.

Savior on a Sunday evening…read more I had some tire trouble on the way back from Yosemite after 5:00pm on a Sunday (which not the greatest time to find car help). I called Mitch up, he picked up on the first try, he listened to the problem, said "Give me 5mins to check if the guys are still at the shop" and 2min later he confirmed I could go get help. Guy at the shop was expecting me when I arrived 10min after the call (since I had to drive a few miles), friendly, helped me right away. It was a minor problem, though help given when needed.

Mitch had so many excuses to why he couldn't work on the truck when my husband would call and check on the completion. Mitch rarely answered his phone, he wouldn't text my husband for several days, and had a lack of professionalism! My husband is the most patient person I know and after 7 months of not having his truck, he had had it with this business. He finally gave Mitch a deadline because he was losing sleep over this poor service! When I took my husband to pick up his truck, Mitch wasn't even at the shop, didn't have the paperwork complete, and his part time mechanic was still working on the truck!!!
