Our wedding was this April and we first checked out this venue in January. So since it was winter, the garden looked really gray, but when we finally had the wedding in April, this venue was s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g ! We had a limited budget so were very thankful that Del Rio had a ceremony-only option. As it was ceremony-only, we only were given Sunday to have our wedding, which we were honestly okay with because we were able to stay within our budget. The employees were also very professional whenever we would meet with them. I remember for our first meeting with them, even though we had not booked the venue yet, they gave us a gift and some wine ! You could just tell how experienced the employees were as well in terms of planning a ceremony and working with people. They gave us a lot of guidance during our rehearsal run-through (which was the Friday before the wedding) as well as on the day of, Sunday. Also another quick note about Sunday, since we only did a ceremony only, we also ordered some light refreshments and snacks and fruit (no meals and no DJ). My one and only con with this place is I wish it would have been easier to communicate with them when we were not meeting in person. They said we could text their number but they would mainly respond to my husband's texts and not mine - same thing happened with email, or they would take a handful of business days to get back to my emails. I eventually found out that calling during business hours was more reliable in reaching them. All in all, it was great to work with the Del Rio team in such a beautiful setting.

The open space concept with its elegant design was the perfect setting. All the staff especially Erica and Catalina were so helpful and organized. It helped keep us reassured we had picked the perfect venue. Honestly the whole staff was so accommodating and thinking ahead of us which helped keep the whole schedule running smoothly. This place is probably meant for smaller crowds if you ever want to throw parties or whatever. They have a basement which is where the party took place and its really small. As with everything in life , there are good and bad things to say about The Wedding Chapel which…read moregives me mixed feelings but I'll give my opinion about what I liked and didn't like when I recently held my weding and reception here. Pros: The cost- all day usage, bridal bouquet, flower girl pedals and groomsmen pens, set up, clean up and minister all for a little over 1k. What a steal. Parking is great, location is prime, The ladies that were at the flower shop pitched in and helped with the little things that were going wrong or that we were behind on and they were so nice. You dont have to have security even if you"re serving alcohol and they provide you with insurance. They have a bar area with an indoor and outdoor fridge/freezer, stove and a seperate bathroom for the bride to get ready with a full size mirror. They are genorous with letting you see the chapel as many times as you want before hand and do not make you feel rushed. Cons- The place needs some TLC. The chapel smells old and looks a little outdated, the rose bushes had dry dead roses, and the 'garden area' was all greenery and did not have any flowers. We instructed the minister that we did not want the ceremony to drag on and didnt want to introduce our family and friends or give out roses but he did it anyway, putting us on the spot and dragging out the ceremony slightly. Although I am sure his intentions were good, we asked not to have a religious ceremony bc we had several different religions attending and we are not religious people but he still said prayers and spoke often of Jesus Christ. He also told my groom that I wanted the rose ceremony when I did not say that so I think he is just set in his ways and will perform whatever ceremony he thinks is best. Also they don't rehearse with you what they are going to say until several minutes before which I thought was unorganized and they do not have papers to send home with you about what the cost of the wedding includes or copies of anything you sign, it is almost like they play everything by ear and you have to either remember what they said or bring your own pen and paper to write everything down. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to invest some money back into the place, remodel the inside, take better care of the landscaping, update the paperwork and make brochures and contracts and use a Minister that respects the wishes of the bride and groom. :
