These guys were quick to get us a quote to remove two large, dying pine trees. They seemed to communicate well, being honest about when they could or could not show up. But then, after they promised they'd be out on Friday after missing us on Thursday, we waited all day Friday with no texts, no calls, no responses to our calls. They didn't show up. I hired them to cut down 2 trees the crew only knew of 1 too come down called there boss and he said he forgot. When they cut down the second tree they didn't remove the whole tree they said they couldn't it was in the fence, but when I got the estimate the owner said it could be removed. They cut down two huge trees from my neighbors yard and I was impressed at how efficient and well the team worked together. You could tell the guys that were working do this often as they worked seamlessly and all pitched in. I didn't even hire them, but looked them up to write a great review because I was so impressed with the work they are doing right now in my neighbors back yard! They were litterally running from one spot to the next to finish the job, when it was time to pull down a big tree or have a big branch come down they all worked together to guide it to the right spot. They are cleaning up the property now and it looks great. I'm glad we don't have big trees to cut right now but if we did I would be calling this company in a heartbeat! read more

These guys did a great job. They removed two trees and pruned another. They were there on time. It took them about an hour. Great fun to watch them scale the tree, prune, then cut and chip. They were in and out in about an hour-- pretty much the time frame they gave me during the quote. I felt they took great care with my property, the ground was cleaned up after they left and the guy came to grind the stumps later--- also doing a really good job. I paid cash. I believe they take credit cards, but add the bank charge fee. All told, I am extremely pleased with them and would both use again and recommend. read more

If you want to deal with a company that comes out and quotes you, and you sign a contract to do the job , And after the 1st scheduled appointment passes , then the second, then the third then the fourth , and your personally talking to the owner [ Josh ] AND........you have the salesman call you after the 3rd complaint advising you to look else where for our own good.... Owner of company came out to quote a price on having several limbs removed. He was on time and courteous. We told him we had a coupon, but he never asked to see it. Checked his math on quote after he left and he didn't take off the correct amount of discount as printed on coupon. When I explained this to him on the phone and then texted him a picture of coupon, he threatened to charge me full price. I texted back that I was disappointed in his actions and lack of professionalism. After my text he sounded surprised at my reaction and eventually took off almost the correct amount of discount as printed on his company's coupon and completed the work. Work done was fine, but we will not deal with this company again. Nor would we recommend them. How can the owner of a company not know what kind of discounts are sent to homes in the mail? read more

i made a mistake by hiring Oakland arbor care, they did very poor job cutting the tree, 1- they made damage to my bench, they did not want to fix it or replace it. it is completely broken. 2- they over changed me, 3- they did not grind the stump in the backyard saying the gate is small to make the stump grinder go through 4- the other tree stump they grinded very poorly, I called them asking if they could grind the part that they did not grind and they promised that they will do that but never showed and when i call them they dont pick up. i tried to call them many days. 5- they did a refund $50 for the broken bench but the check bounced back because they did not have the money in their bank. very poor job, on the other property I hired different company and they did better job for less money. Awful service. Dishonest. Pushy. Unprofessional. STAY AWAY! After patiently waiting for weeks for them to come out to take down a few old trees and to plant new ones, the job was done extremely unprofessionally. Trees are not straight, and unevenly spaced, all because these guys have no idea what they are doing. The dug holes and started dropping trees in, by the time they got to the 3rd tree we ran into cables under the ground and had to readjust spacing for the 3rd tree. When I asked to fix the spacing of first two trees while the crew was there, the slimy salesman/job manager Steve told me that they have to run to the next job and offered me a solution - buy another tree from him and plant it to help cover up uneven spacing, to which I said no. He promised to come back and move one tree over, and NEVER showed up again. Never returned my calls. I need more trees, but I will not be using these guys. I will post negative feedback on as many social media sites as possible. People should know about dishonest businesses. read more
