Turman's Tree and Landscape is doing truly superior work at my house today. I have 32 trees on my little half acre, so we have done a lot of trimming over the last 10 years. I've worked with 3 local tree services in that time and no one has ever done my yard this thoroughly and beautifully. They've removed several dead pines in a berm and a tall tree growing in my memorial garden without so much as leaving a footprint. They've cleaned my yard impeccably, leaving it significantly tidier than they found it (27 of those trees are oaks!). There isn't a hint of dead wood or suckers left in any tree they've touched, which had never been the case with previous companies, but they were also careful to follow the rules for proper arbor care so my gigantic trees won't be left vulnerable to disease. I called in the morning and was told Kyle would drop by early afternoon which he did. After looking at the work and discussing our needs, he provided a detailed written quote. The price was fair so a day was picked which unfortunately was a rain-out. Couple of days later, weather now permitting, Kyle called and he and the team arrived right on time. Even though our single large tree trimming project covered three owners yards, part of a roof and several garden structures including a statue, professional care was taken and nothing was damaged. Turman's arrived earlier than the scheduled time, which was fine. The crew immediately got to work putting vehicles and chipper in the best location and were dropping branches right away. The tree being removed was a silver maple which was at least 80 feet tall. Just merely dropping brush was not possible as there were lines to the house, a fence and a pool surrounding the tree. Each and every branch and trunk were brought down and moved carefully. Three hours later they had cleaned up and were gone. Great job and great people to work with. I called Turman Landscaping when I saw their ad. Tom T, their sales representative, came out on time, was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained how they would remove 4 large trees I wanted cut down and agreed to protect my lawn from the tracked vehicle they would be using by first laying down plywood. His price was fair. We had such a great experience last summer with Turman's when they removed 5 (huge, out of control) arbor vitea on a rear fence line. They were on time, professional, polite, efficient and quick. I just couldn't believe what a great job they did. So this year when we needed two 'out of control' shrubs (10-15' tall) removed, we didn't hesitate to call Turman's again. What can I say? We had a dead poplar tree on our property that kept losing large limbs. We knew the tree was dead. We called Turman's and Jeff was able to come out and give us an estimate. We accepted a fair price bid and they were out within 2 days. The crew came and quickly took down the tree without causing harm to our existing landscape or the neighbors. The crew took away the branches and trunk. They then raked up any small twigs, including the shavings that spread around from sawing the tree bark. They left my yard pristine.
