Food was pretty good they make a yummy meat sandwhich nightly served in a brown bag and some knock off oreos. Would dine in again

If I could give zero stars.. I would! My boyfriend got stopped for a warrant he knew nothing about as nothing was sent in the mail. Then, money and a gift card was stolen out of his car from one of the police officers. They put the cuffs on him so tight that his wrist have cuts and scabs on them still to this day even though he's been out for about a week. Also, the sheriffs tried to tell him he was resisting. He was not resisting- the cuffs were so tight that they were hurting him and he was asking questions as like I mentioned... he knew nothing about having a warrant out for his arrest because nothing was received in the mail. Shame on the sheriffs for stealing money and gift cards.. I hope karma finds its way to you! read more

all I can say is inhuman, breakfast consist of stale oatmeal, runny tasteless peanut and half a loaf of bread, lunch is alway over boiled noodles, and something that resembles Alpo dog food and don't forget half a loaf of bread & 5 carrot, dinner is unbelievable you get two cheese sandwiches plus the famous carrots and a small juice but on good days the sandwiches are replaced with Brown Humas. this place should be shut don't because if you can't buy their over priced commissary you will starve to death, I can't believe the state of Michigan let's them get away with this, it's one step above bread & water and they say they meet all nutritional values, what a joke read more

This all inclusive resort has the worst menu, breakfast is at 5:30 am and is the only hot meal you receive, consists of a flavorless oatmeal and 1 scoop of peanut butter and 1 scoop of apple jelly with a 4 oz carton of apple juice, lunch comes at 10:30 am, 1 scoop of mystery gravy with rice, potatoes, or noodles depending on the day, salt never goes in anything all of it tastes like pure crap, dinner is at 3:30 pm either cheese or soy bologna sandwiches or hummus that looks like a pile of puke. Now on to the staff, Now there are several really nice deputies that are pretty laid back, but the few that are power hungry are real jerks just for fun. You get 3 thin blankets and the jail keeps the AC on year round and it gets cold like uncomfortably cold. Do yourself a favor if you're going to break the law don't do it in Oakland County. read more

Not Quite the 5-Star Experience I Was Expecting! I came in expecting a luxury stay, but let's just say it was more "budget chic" than 5-star hotel. The *premium* mystery meat and cheese sandwiches were, well, meh. Not quite the culinary experience I had in mind--though I do have to commend them for their creativity in the "what's in this?" department. The views? Absolutely breathtaking-if you're into the industrial aesthetic. Nothing but concrete walls for miles, a true minimalist's dream. And I can't forget the live entertainment! I was treated to a personalized performance by the guy in the next room, singing an endless stream of cuss words through the walls. Move over, Beyoncé! The highlight? The toilets! Crafted from what I'm sure must be the finest silver known to man--so exclusive that they refuse to flush anything with a shred of dignity. As for the *personal* experience, wow. 24/7 security so attentive. Truly an intimate connection you won't find at just any resort. Overall, if you're looking for a "unique" stay with gourmet-level mystery meals and next-level *involuntary* service, this is your place. But I was really hoping for a minibar. read more

This place is literally hell if you are a diabetic they will try and kill you if your sugar goes low they get mad and throw a fit and make you go to the tank they barely let me come down for blood sugar checks when my sugar was low I am a type 1 diabetic and they were trying to give me so much lantius and novolog t my sugar was going low dangerously low every night and when I told the depths they would not want to take me to the clinic to get my blood sugar check they told me that I had to have a diabetic coma for them to do anything it was a very scary experience if it wasn't for the chips that I got in commonsarry I'd be dead right now read more

Beds are just steel. 23 and a half hour lock down in quarantine for 18 days , only 30 minutes to make a call and shower daily ..given sandwiches with mystery meat 3 times a day , I serve better food to my dog .. They provided a very gentle arrest on me, however on the drive to this fine establishment the police officers did have a bit of a snarky attitude, but nothing too bad. The meat sandwich is to die for, as in you'll probably die if you eat too much of it. The lodgings In this establishment are quite cozy and topical compared to the rival Macomb County Jail. My stay was self inflicted but for the 10 days I did, the deputies I had to interact with were friendly and approachable. I wasn't talked down to, and any questions were answered politely. I dont recommend a visit but the staff was generally ok. The food is absolutely horrible but I didn't DIE from caronavirus. read more
