Pharmacy Review: My…read moredoctor sent a prescription for me to this CVS. On the website, it said that they didn't have it in stock and it was ordered; it would take about 2 business days. Ten days later there was still no updates. I called the pharmacy but was never able to reach a person. There was a voicemail option that mentioned that they would call me back in a hour. I've called twice in two days, I've heard nothing, crickets. I decided to transfer the prescription to a different CVS, and the same thing happened. I asked my doctor for an alternative medication since this one was out of stock at both CVS locations for about two weeks now. The new prescription was sent, they had it in stock, and I was able to pick it up the same day. Luckily this wasn't a life saving medicine or I'd be out of luck. 1 star for the initial experience but I bumped it to 2.5 stars since they were able to fill the alternative prescription the same day. They need to revamp their customer service system. I used to work in customer service, this baffles me. I would never leave a customer hanging; I always find a resolution for them.

I went into this store to drop a return off at Fed Ex. I purchased a $4 shipping bag because they…read moredon't offer those as part of the service. I inserted the items into the bag and the girl at the register asks "would you like to buy some tape to seal your bag?" Keep in mind, there is a packing tape gun sitting on the counter behind her, which I make reference to. And the Asst Manager (bald guy with glasses and a goat-tee) who is sitting at the counter says to "Oh, that's the store tape, we don't use it for customers.' I just bought a $4 shipping bag and you want me to spend another $6 on tape because you won't use a 4 inch piece of tape from the "store tape?" Great customer service. Occasionally some one in front of me doesn't understand the process or there insurance but that is not the pharmacies fault. I always renew my precriptions using the Walgreens App. On occasion when I get a prescription that is not covered by insurance they are quick to find another way to discount the medication. 99% of my medications are covered with zero out of pocket for me. You have your Slush Puppies and milk shake machine, which are fun surprises although not necessarily unexpected. But then you have all the personal touches that make it clear they have their local customer in mind. On the door, it lets you know they sell school supplies. They have a cooler with locally made Avery's soda. The area designation signs are handmade. They have frozen homemade food, including pizza! There's homemade bakery items and cooler goods, including fresh muesli. How cool is that? But even more amazing, the owner makes spices, including rubs and curry powder. You'll never find those exact items anywhere else! It's an amazing store, and the cashier was so friendly and fun to talk to. I'm jealous of what you have West Avon!

There were sufficient pumps, and the interior had a decent range of food from the processed potato chip to an on-the-spot milkshake. The best part was in departure, I didn't have to wait long to turn left. What is impressive is the shop. It is immaculately faced for the most part. It is CLEAN, and items are uniformly on the edge of the shelf. My wife had a similar bizarre experience here. She bought a newspaper and handed the guy $2. He was jammering away on the phone throughout their transaction. He never acknowledged her once, didnt even look at her, just made change, handed it over and kept up his yammering. Pretty rude on both counts, don't you think?
