One of the better European grocery stores I've been to. The food selection is fantastic and places an emphasis on Mediterranean foods. Specifically a lot of Albanian, Greek, Macedonian, and Turkish from what I noticed. The two ladies were very helpful and polite as they tolerated my maniac kids who were very impressed at the small toys for sale. The store itself is a well organized grocery store broken up into logical aisles, clean and well kept. We filled a grocery card and will be back for more. Only improvement would be if they carried beer from the region and maybe a deli counter. read more

Always happy to shop here and glad I have a store like this, so close to my house. Happy that they carry so many European products. Especially happy that I can find some of my favorite Romanian cookies. I always try something from behind the counter and this time I had the pleasure of tasting a pistachio baklava that it was delicious. Highly recommended. The olives are extremely tasty and I also recommend the Feta Cheese. Don't sleep on the Romanian jams and preserves!! Beware... Most of the items are mismarked so please make sure to always check the screen as they are ringing up your items. I go there all the time and I always find a mistake when they are ringing up my items. Sadly, some of the girls there do not speak English and it is so hard to communicate with them. They should understand that just because it is Albanian owned and run doesn't mean that only Albanians go into the store. They really should learn some English. read more

Euro Grocery, is a very tiny grocery store filled with Mediterranean products. Here you'll find a plethora of cheese and a variety of salami. Peppers stuffed with cabbage are one of my favorites, along with Thomy mayo that comes in a tube. This mayo reminds me of my childhood, it is so much more flavorful than any American mayo. There are loose teas here, and a shelf of just honey. This store is tiny, when you open the fridge with the cheese, no one can get around you. There are so many unique juices, like strawberry, blueberry and peach. I never knew Nutella made other products, other than the big jar of Nutella. Now I do, after seeing them here. The prices are pretty reasonable on most items, they are imported, so that says something. I'd encourage you to stop by Euro Grocery to try something new or something nostalgic. read more

I just noticed this new Mediterranean-focused grocery store in Rocky Hill. I walked in and it's a small shop, densely packed with specialty products. Things that I did or would buy here include high end feta, olives, figs, a different selection of candy and chocolate and frozen things such as Spanakopita. I would definitely check this place out if I was making Greek or Mediterranean food and I needed high quality and/or special ingredients. Or, if I wanted a new selection of interesting frozen food options. read more

This place was not bad, the selection was pretty good and you have a wide assortment of items, my only issue is that a lot of them were expired or near expiration so you definitely have to check before buying. Also the pricing on certain things was a bit high. Overall it is worth a visit just look thru everything before buying. As noted in some other reviews this is primarily a Mediterranean European store so expect a majority of the items to be from that region. I will likely return but this won't be a daily driver. read more

So I was in need of some items for a party I was going to and decided to stop in here and see what they have to offer. I was greeted with a friendly smile as soon as I walked in and how can I help you. Eurogrocery is located directly across from Saybrook Fish House and has been open since June of 2017. This place is chock full of Greek, Italian, Portuguese and Baltic Food Imports. They have cheeses, meats, pasta, preserved fruits & veggies, crackers, biscuits, jellies, chocolates, desserts, candy and some prepared foods. I was looking for chorizo for a paella party. They had choizo but not the variety I was looking for. The lovely woman who helped me said they would see about carrying that variety since they are still trying to get a feel for what their patrons like and might possibly be looking for. I found preserved whole black walnuts and grabbed a jar they were priced at around $6 which I thought was great. They also have a large selection of whole and preserved fruits in syrup. I can't wait to go back and get some fresh feta cheese. And they had some neat different chocolates and candies. And some delicious looking cakes in a case that looks like you pay by slice. I can't wait to go back and give them more business I love Mom & pop shops that carry all kinds of neat ingredients. It's all small store but it's filled with all kinds of goodies so stop by and give them a try. read more

This store is not close to my place, but I make a special trip to Rocky Hill, once in a while for: roasted corn, Pick salami, Valbreso French feta (the best), spices (great prices!), Rumanian preserves (all kind), pitted olives, nuts (fresh, excellent quality), baclava...always find something I did not know I need it!
