They didn't take any of my clothes, guess it's not what's "in", which is okay. I go around here from time to time to spot some nice deals on clothes from Aritzia / Lulu. I noticed quite a lot of poorly used clothes on the rack and even with holes and rips. You really have to ensure the clothes are in good enough condition to your liking before purchasing. They do offer refund anyway just in case within 7 days, clearance items are final though so make the right decision. I have purchased a few great deals from here. I think it's a nice place to get second hand or even brand new items when you get lucky. So many lightly used but you just have to be patient and go through stuff, eventually you'll find nice ones. Quick tip on white clothes - check collar area and underarms to ensure no discolouration. Darker colour clothes - I don't know about you but I dislike deodorant / lotion marks when I pick it up from the rack. Just a random thought! Daylyn is a very calming, fair trade store which offers many different items to purchase. Items include clothing, gem stones, jewellery and accessories, home goods, essential oils, books, everything related to chakras, candles, wooden boxes, incense & holders, meditation items, perfume, and so so much more hand crafted things. They offer lots of services too (which I have yet to try) such as readings, massage therapy, reiki, reflexology, thai yoga... just to name a few. I visited today and instantly felt so warm when I entered. Not warm physically, just welcomed and included-feeling. There were other shoppers when I came in which worried me that I wasn't going to get the attention I had wanted. Don't take that the wrong way; I just had plenty of questions regarding a few items I was interested in buying. I felt the lady helping me was resourceful, knowledgable and gave equal assistance to us all without excluding anyone. No matter the question I asked, I didn't feel it was answered too 'far out there' or 'hokey'. She knew her stuff! The receipt says "Julia" so I'll assume that's her. We came at the end of the day on the New Year's eve and I forgot my purse when I was leaving. I only realized when I was on my way home when they called my husband's cell from my cell phone. Although the store was already closed, they waited for us to come back and pickup the purse. So very grateful. Awesome-awesome people!

So the Big K headed in first while I went to Dollarama nearby to waste some time. How long could buying a hockey stick take? I finally had to enter National Sports to investigate the Big K's disappearance and within record time I was greeted by a very friendly salesperson who not only found The Big K for me, but three perfectly wonderful, very expensive hockey sticks that could significantly improve The Big K's game (and in sum total cost more than my dishwasher.) After much careful consideration, The Big K finally settled on "just one" (thank goodness) from this neatly organized and well-stocked store. I rushed the Big K with stick in hand to the check-out (in an effort to prevent him from buying anything else.) Even the cashier was super-charming and personable and made paying the large bill less painful. Final words: bring lots of cash. This store is conducive to shopping.
