Good prices, I enjoy the fact that I'm shopping local and it's conveniently just a short drive. The owners truly care about your overall experience & always make you feel welcome. I highly recommend shopping here! Plus they sell pandora too

I went in today to have a watch battery replaced and some repairs done on a ring. First I was told…read morethat the repair man wasn't in and I would have to wait until... maybe the end of the day or tomorrow or the day after (it was already 3:15pm). So then I asked about the repairs to the ring. I was referred to someone else, who told me that it would take at least 15 business days, but if I was willing to pay extra, I could have it in 3 days. Since this was really quite a simple repair, I was somewhat put out. I said that I was surprised it should take so long, and that I had never before walked into a jewelers that couldn't replace a watch battery on the spot. The girl told me that was because the fellow who would usually do this was upstairs right now doing all those 3-day repairs (the same fellow, I presume, that was supposedly not there at all.) While I was speaking to her, another customer came in asking for a pocket watch that he had brought in for repairs over a month and a half earlier. He said no one had called and he wanted to know what was going on with his watch. I decided that I would take my business elsewhere.

This is literally within a minute of speaking with him. Stress on the job doesn't give you the right to treat customers with complete & utter disrespect. Needs a course in Customer Service pronto. Woule never recommend or return.

A friend and I went to get 3 pairs of skates sharpened at Boulton's Replay Sports today. When we…read morebrought the skates inside, we immediately noticed the strong smell of smoke - its obvious the owner is a heavy smoker and smokes in the store, regardless of the fact that this is against the law. We felt bad about this because there are lots of children brought into the store regularly (although we didn't have any with us). We were told it would take 20 minutes to sharpen the skates. We had some other errands to run, so we were happy with that and left to do some other shopping. We came back about 1.5 hours later and were approached by one of the owner's sons. It was obvious the store was very busy at that point, but the owners son treated us right off the bat like we were inconveniencing him. He said he would go back to check if our skates were ready. We waited patiently about 20 minutes and nobody came out to tell us what was going on. So, I walked to the back of the store - in an area where there was merchandise. The door to the back was open and I could see the owner and the son sharpening skates, but couldn't see which ones. I did not enter the back, I stayed in the public part of the store - and I asked if they knew how long it would take for our skates to be ready. The owner's son was shockingly rude, actually raised his voice and in an angry tone said "I'm doing them right now!". I walked back to the front of the store. The other son came to us and told us that there had been a delay because we had brought our skates in a bag (one of the fabric grocery bags) and it was awkward to get the skates out of the bag. He said at the point that they were going to do them,"100 people came in wanting sharpening". I said "that's why they didn't get done? Because we brought them into the store in a bag?" He said "yup, then we got busy and we had to do the other skates first". (don't even ask me to explain the rationale behind this. Its lost on me) When I receive rude or bad customer service, I make it a point to remain calm and not return rudeness. However, I was so shocked, I felt I had to say something. I said calmly that I didn't feel we were receiving very courteous service. I was promptly told by the owner that I wasn't very courteous for coming to the back of the store and wanting to know when my skates would be done. At that point, I disengaged, we paid for the services and left. As we were walking out of the store, the owner said loudly enough for us to hear (as we were obviously meant to hear) "this is why I don't want to be in customer services anymore!" Needless to say, we will never return. (I've since been informed that the SKATER'S PERFORMANCE in Bradford does a great job at sharpening skates AND they are polite). As we were paying, we were arrogantly told by one of the sons that nobody sharpens skates as well as they do. While I'm sure that isn't true, even if it was, that doesn't give them the right to be rude and blatantly angry with their customers. Worst experience ever!
