They didn't even know that they took my insurance and told me they couldn't see me. They also ignored my extensive paperwork that I brought in with me and screwed up where to send my prescriptions. Not only that but they're not all that friendly, especially Keith. Not impressed.

When I called for directions to the office she was blunt, short and very rude. When I got into the office she was just as such upon check in and check out. I work in the medical field and would never speak to my patients in what I experienced. Upon check out I went back up to the window to inquire about a co-pay as none was mentioned at check in. Rhonda proceeded to say, it was 60, but that I was taken back before she could collect. I questioned this and only then was that statement corrected by her co-worker. I was under the impression that insurance verifications were done prior to appointments.

I've been receiving treatment from Oakview for 2 years or better now and I have never been treated…read morebetter at any medical facility that I've ever been to. Dr. Dawn is a very caring person that is more concerned about getting patients healthy and taken care of properly than anything else. Oakview is a teaching facility and many will never know the great things that have been done for uninsured patients etc.... She also works with other providers to try and benefit as many patients as possible. I highly recommend Oakview and all the staff for their professionalism and friendliness. Thank you all.

Terrible experience! Dr. Hoover created an incision in my lower left leg to remove basal cell…read morecarcinoma. They scheduled stitches removal at 14 days. I followed care directions but sent a message through the portal at 9 days (a Wednesday), with a photo, stating I was concerned about the incision site. No one contacted me. On day 11, a Friday, I phoned to follow up and shared that it was looking worse. They could not find my message, even though I can see it on my end. The nurse had me send another photo; her response was, "Hm, it does look a little angry," and she said she was sending it to the doctor so I could have information before the weekend. Crickets. The next morning, I went to urgent care, where I was diagnosed with a significant bacterial infection and put on a strong antibiotic and very specific care instructions. I was told I was a high risk for sepsis and a blood clot, and there was no certainty that this particular antibiotic would work. It helped, but not enough, so now I'm on my second antibiotic for treatment and am still restricted in my activities. I was told that stitches in this part of the body should not be in for more than 7 days. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. The stitches were in too long, and TWICE I contacted them with concerns, and they did not respond to provide basic patient care. The photo you see is the same photo they were given.
