Moms makeup was caked on her face and she looked horrible. The burial at Oakwood Cemetery was horrific. The family wanted to see mom lowered into her final resting place. My family was told this was not permitted. We saw Dan leaving in the rusty Hearse before the mourners had left the gravesite. This shows a total lack of respect to the deceased and the loved ones. He was patient, understanding, and made sure we felt supported the entire way. I was especially anxious about how my loved one would look, but James did an absolutely beautiful job. Everything was handled with such dignity and respect. The funeral home itself is warm and welcoming, with beautiful grounds filled with flowers and even tasteful seasonal decorations that brought a small bit of comfort.
