I once went to a dentist that was in a basement and I was truly terrified so the bright and clean dentists on street lane put me right at ease. The waiting area is comfortable, stylish and really tidy; there is also a bathroom that is so luxurious it should be in a beauty spa. I only had a routine check up and thankfully no nasty work was needed. The dentist was really sweet and suggested I start using sensitive toothpaste as gave me some samples to try. I have found practically all other dentist's scary; this one however is warm and friendly.

I managed to get a same day emergency appointment here, with David Blaine (ok, David Blaen, but it's pronounced the same, which is awesome for he is indeed magical), for £56, and after discussing my options I decided to have the tooth out. For which there was no extra charge! All very quick and more importantly, pain and stress-free. I can't recommend Dr Blaen enough. He is a dude. He is private though, not NHS, but he's worth it. He also has a mega beard.

One of the lady dentists was absolutely spot on always. However,once she left we were moved to another dentist in the same place and all hell broke loose. What should have been an all ok check up felt like spending life in unending pain. It was almost as if he was trying to create a problem where there was none. Fortunately we complained and were moved to another dental clinic so we are safe now. But thought this review would be useful for people to be cautious when they go. it's "Enter at your own risk"

Was contacted in early December to be told I finally got to the front of the queue for an NHS…read moreplace. Booked in my appointment. That appointment was cancelled by them a week later, which was then rescheduled. Twenty minutes before the second appointment (whilst I was in the car on my way) I got a call to say that the dentist I was due to see wasn't taking on new NHS patients, and neither are any of the other dentists, so they're not able to see me now. Basically told to look elsewhere. What an absolute shambles. ------------- Reply from Clarendon on google reviews: Dear Richard Our email was sent inviting registered patients only to book into some spare slots we had available. No new patients were invited! The online booking link which you used (or had forwarded to you) also made clear it was for existing patients only. When it became clear you were not a pre-existing patient and booked your self an appointment incorrectly your appointment was cancelled. We are attempting to rebuild our general nhs list in an equitable manner prioritising pre-existing patients by age group. We are unable to make exceptions and sorry for any inconvenience caused. -------------- UPDATE: Just to respond to your reply. You're making it out like it's my fault. See attached the email to me. Nowhere does it state it's for existing patients only. YOU haven't made this clear. Its not me misunderstanding. You sent me the email and text me! It wasn't forwarded to me by anyone else. The first appointment got cancelled and you called me to apologise and set me up a new appointment. If it was only for existing patients only, why did you not advise me at that point? Why on earth did you wait till I was on my way to the second appointment to tell me then? I've never had an email from you before offering an appointment, so why would I assume it wasn't for me? If it really wasn't for me, then why did you send it to me in the first place? Your lack of responsibility and attempt to gaslight me is disgusting; trying to blame me for your error and assuming I've tried to circumvent your system.

The dental nurses are really nice the reception staff are helpful and the dentist himself has been great at explaining about the work i've needed doing. Had no problem getting appointments and not had to wait long to be seen after arriving. The do NHS and private patients and all seem very professional and the place looks spotless too. Looks like they are still taking on NHS patients too so hurry and register if you need a dentist.

I have never ever been to such an unhygienic, rude and quite frankly worrying practice. The…read morehygienist had visible unsterilised instruments and when I questioned this she actually admitted it AND said it was cause of costs!!! I couldn't believe it. As a private paying patient I do not expect to be told I am not paying enough to get hygienic treatment!! I actually left there and then without continuing my treatment because I was afraid for my own health - I don't want a blood infection after all. This has caused so much problem for my next dentist to sort out cause she did such a horrible job. If you value your teeth, health and time do NOT use this practice.
