We looked forward to shopping and ending at the Foodcourt- the Sbarro had a huge hot and cold buffet! The last time I was here was in 2014 when they updated the food court and it was fabulous! I've been reading about the new plans and how decrepit it is now. I decided to stop by after Church to see for myself I parked in the Orange Lot and came up the escalator and went right to Macy's! I was extremely impressed with Macy's. A huge beautiful store. Great sales and I actually bought a gorgeous skirt! So as I see the mall it's like having 2 separate malls the half in front of Macy's looks like a full beautiful mall! Today, because it was raining, it was pretty busy! The Apple store was packed! Some great shopping options! Free Parking! Then I went to the other side by the food court and Dillards .., now I understand some of the negative reviews.. Half empty! The H&M is amazing! Huge store! Dillard's is great! The Restaurants ate first class and were very busy! I ate at the Capital Grille. P.F.Chang, Seasons 62 and the Blue Martini' First, I would fire your Development Realtor! If you want to maintain a presence in Ft. Lauderdale. Lease to zara! Bring in a Home Sense..(a Product of HomeGoods!, Bring in an affordable Sports Bar/Restaurant! Ex: Ale house, WOB,, even a Texas Roadhouse, a TooJay's, a good pizza place! aLa Boulangerie, a Rossetta's like in Aventura Mall! Someplace for coffee!!!(Not Duncan Donuts or Starbucks, please) An internet presence! CNN did a study a few months ago how the Brick and mortar stores are coming back Thank goodness! A lot has changed at this mall since the start of the year. Some of the stores I really loved,…read moreincluding Ceramic Painting and Altar'd State, are no longer at this location. Several other stores have also moved, and there are now quite a few areas with closed-up shops or walls blocking off vacant spaces. The mall still has some of its main features, including the Apple Store, Dillard's, Macy's, and Sephora, but the overall feel is noticeably different. During my visit, multiple main elevator access areas were out of service. I also spotted a leak in the roof, although thankfully security and staff responded quickly once it was noticed. On the positive side, the mall is still clean overall. There are seating areas throughout the mall, and many have outlets available for charging devices. They also do not have the middle-of-the-mall kiosks, which I personally prefer. That said, the overall vibe of this mall has shifted drastically since the beginning of the year. It just doesn't feel the same as it used to. I'm hoping more stores are coming in or that there is a larger plan for a renovation or revitalization. For now, though, there are noticeably more vacant and closed-off areas than I remember, and the mall feels like it is in a bit of a transition period.

I have been coming to Pemboke Gardens since they first opened. They have a fabulous assortment of…read morestores and restaurants. They have some name brand retailers along with some lesser-known more boutique style stores. I really enjoy coming here on a Friday or Saturday night and listening to the music at Brimstone. The area is very walkable. Most drivers are courteous when you cross in front of them and they yield to you. In an Ideal World, I think Pembroke Gardens should have an automatic covering for when it is super hot or rainy. That is the downfall of this shopping mecca, several months of the year it is just not fun to come here because of the weather. Parking is another issue. I really wish they would build a parking garage because there is usually a problem finding a parking spot on the weekend. That just puts me and then annoyed state of mind when I'm going to a fun place. Definitely come to Pembroke Gardens when you want a fun and memorable they are night out.

The proximity to the port of Fort Lauderdale, the airport, many hotels and downtown, make this a very easy destination. The Center's location has a potential reach of over 225,000 residents within a 5-mile radius, in addition to the cruise ship tourists. So, convenient and easy to get to.....a winning combination.

Sufficient parking for the amount of businesses and did not notice any EV spaces. The service and food at Ethos Greek was impeccable but slightly pricey, while one slice of cheese pizza at Pizza Piez was pretty good NY style. Searched for Easter gifts at the Dollar Tree but was unsuccessful finding the right one. Good plaza if you're in the area to find a good bite or shop til you drop after the beach.

One would think that with all of the added residential buildings it would allow the retail shops and eateries to thrive but what we witnessed today was anything but that. Most of the retail businesses that were here one year ago are long gone and almost all of the restaurants were completely empty. Meter parking is tight but plentiful weekdays. After long walking in the heat, we managed to find a few interesting retro shops and great pizza.

The anchor store is Publix and surrounding it is a number of restaurants, shops, and businesses offering services. There is a Miracle Ear, Jersey Mike's, Urgent Care, The UPS Store, Boulevard Salon, Barber, Sugar Wax, Pinch a Penny, The UPS Store, Bien Chido Mexican Taqueria, The Game Stop, Starbucks, Bliss Nail Lounge, and Physicians Therapy Now.
