Stopped in to buy a few things I needed for a wedding. Plenty of parking near the mall entrance. With a Macy's, Dillard's, JC Penny's and a AMC movie theater are the main draw. The mall is well maintained and most stores are occupied. If you are looking for a certain thing I'm sure you will find it here. The food court was busy however the mall traffic was slow. Glad to have Pembroke Lakes Mall right down the street from us when we need to go in to stores physically to purchase something. Food court is decent and they have little shops where you can get treats like pretzels and cookies. They have your typical Macy's, Dillards, and JCPenney department stores if that's what you're looking for. No stores really high-end here but that's OK for us. read more

The mall scenes have died down in the last ten years, but this long time Pembroke Pines mall is also lacking its mass customer base, although has been well maintained throughout the years. I'm actually pleased that it is quiet here and dont have to bump into other customers. The Macy's and Dillard's seem to be the landmark stores here with the employees still trying to spray you with perfume as you walk by. While walking through the mall, the scent of fresh baked popcorn from Pop's Corn filled the air and made me hungry. read more

I've been going to this mall for years. While it may have gotten a bit more empty over time I still appreciate it. Usually I'm mostly here for the AMC attached but time to time I'll pop in to get some shopping done if I need things or want to get gifts for people. There's actually a lot of different popular shops as well as unique smaller businesses when visiting here. A lot of variety! The food court area is quite nostalgic and honestly provides many options to eat from. Sometimes it's just nice to get a quick bite to eat after a full day shopping. Typically coming in the morning is best since the store is quite empty and there is plenty of parking. While it may not be as popular as a major mall such as Sawgrass I find it's still a great mall choice with many shops if you want a quieter shopping experience! read more

Pembroke Lakes Mall was one of my refuges from the heat and humidity when I lived nearby. I'd meet my friends or go with my boyfriend for the day. It's a light and airy atmosphere with air conditioning. Even if I didn't shop I loved to people watch and get lunch. The food court has lots of options. I'm recommending. read more

Shopping here during mid day is stress free and parking is plentiful. The main areas of the mall is a ghost town but there is some activity in Macy's, Dillard's and the AMC cinemas. The Rilix coaster at this mall has scammed so many people out of their money through their kids desire to experience virtual reality. This machine takes your money and nothing happens. I live super close to this mall so it's my go to for mall needs. It does get a bit busy with teenagers hangout, but for the most part it's pretty nice. The mall is always clean and security guards at various locations. The food court is generally pretty clean. There's a variety of options from Chinese, American, Latin. There's even a Popeyes. The stores are pretty nice. There's a variety of stores, Dillards, Macy's and JCPenney's which are your staples. Parking is pretty nice. It's a variety of parking spots. I've been hearing a lot of back talk this year about this mall, and frankly, I was hesitant on going--especially with my teenage daughter. Hey y'all, I took the chance in going and nothing I saw or experienced was even remotely close to what I've heard. Every retailer we purchased from had pleasant clerks, the merchandise was organized, the floors were clean (even in the fitting rooms) and throughout the mall. Best of all, both the parking areas and the premises were secure and safe. We were going to forego the Food Court and eat elsewhere, but after walking around and checking the area, we decided to eat there and so very glad we did! Though busy and with few tables available, everything was clean and in order. We ate from a "Louisiana chicken kitchen" place and we were delighted to discover that they now offer nuggets--but that's another review. All in all, we spent more time there than I would have wanted, but it was a great day and shopping experience. read more

If I were 16, I would probably love this mall. There are plenty of stores and food geared towards the teen demographic, plus the AMC & Round 1 Amusement Center. The older crowd will like this mall, as the selection at anchor stores (Dillard, JCPenney, and Macy's) was dated. Plus, this mail is very long since it's since story, making it idle for mail walking. Pembroke Lakes Mall opened on October 28, 1992 with room for six anchor stores. The Dillards, J.C. Penney's, and Macy's are still here. Burdines, may you R.I.P.. Set to open in spring of 2021 is Round One Entertainment, a Japanese based amusement store chain that offers arcade games, bowling, and billiards. This was my first visit to this mall. I loved hanging out at the mall as a teen growing up in New Jersey but the older I get the less I like mall shopping. I came to Pembroke lakes to attend the Yelp event and decided to burn some calories before dinner checking things out. Due to Covid, certain stores seem to be limiting the number of people let in. The longest lines were at Hot Topic and the Disney Store. I was able to walk right in to Bath and Body Works. It seems ridiculous to force everyone to wait outside the store when they are crammed together in a line anyway. I might have shopped at Hot Topic for my daughter but their line lost my business. The rest of the mall was the same stores every other mall has, Victoria's Secret, Justice, The Children's Place, Build a Bear, Croc's, Tilly's, and Hallmark are just a few of the usual suspects. They did have an H&M which are pretty rare but I prefer the outlet at Sawgrass Mills Mall. Pembroke Lakes has what you need but is not unique enough that I would be rushing back to visit again. I have a version of all of these stores closer to where I live, but this is a nice mall. read more

I have been coming to this mall for longer than I care to remember. Really, it is since they opened maybe 25 years ago or so. This mall has evolved and had its ups and downs with many stores coming and going. I do like that they have a California Pizza Kitchen here because it is convenient and I happen to like their pizza. This mall has your main stores such as Sears, Macy's, JCPenney, Dillard's and Macy's Home Store. And how could I forget, Bath & Body Works. To me, these are stores that I use pretty often and I'm glad to have them in one place. I do not appreciate all the little kiosks in the middle of the mall and being hounded to try different products. I politely say no and they still pester me. Sometimes following me as I walk away. I don't know anyone who appreciates. In fact, the agressiveness is a way for me to not purchase your products! They recently opened an AMC movie theater. I still have not been there but will go one of these days. The food court has nothing out of the ordinary. I really don't recommend coming to the small at night because I have heard there's a lot of crime. All in all, this mall is fair. read more

A nice mall . During the weekend it gets to be a little bit crowded. They seem to be having something. They had a big square stand where they had fresh fruits, orchids and other products. I came for arepasmania. It is located at the food court. It was easily found. I was glad. The food court looked clean and nice. I noticed a store having a out of business sale. A good bargain to check out, but not my style of dresses. It is located right in front of the perfume store. I like that there are signs everywhere posted telling the public to wear masks. I see everyone wearing it. A funny thing happened to me. I couldn't find my car. I asked the mall security for help. They where very helpful. They drove me around until I found my car. I was so embarrassed. This had never happened to me before. I do wish now that the parking lot had a number system or letters. It would make it so much easier to remember for me. I've been going to this mall for years. It has the major stores (Macy's, JCP, Dillards, Footlocker, Journeys, Steve Madden) and alot of boutiques also. Theres even a Crocs store and a Starbucks. You can find a quick party outfit, kids uniforms, and holiday decorations all in one location. It's big enough to walk for a few hours but small enough you won't get lost. One of the things that stands out about it is the surrounding area which makes it so convenient. There is an AMC movie theater attached on the west end of the mall and a Target in an attached plaza. Also, there's a row of restaurants and eateries for the after shopping reprieve. Good location and conveniently not oversaturated. Always my first choice for a quick shopping spree! read more

I used to think of this mall as not too great. Seeing other malls in the area lately makes me think this mall is not so bad. Our food court has some good choices such as the newly added Lime Mexican Grill, Chick fil A, Villa Pizza and Subway. I also enjoy eating at California Pizza Kitchen. We also have the standard stores such as Bath and Body Works and Victoria's Secret. It is a good mall to have in the area. They also have a newly added AMC Theaters, which I have yet to go to. I worked there many years ago and it was a great mall but now there is nothing. Dollars is ridiculously price, not a single sale. Macys does not offer a good selection and neither dos JCP. GAP is gone, NY&Co is gone, H&M was pretty empty. I understand there's an issue with stock but also the stores they have opened are just bad. The west end of the mall is empty. It's no wonder there was so much parking at 2pm on a Sunday, that is usually busiest time for malls. read more

You know what? As far as malls go, this one is alright. I mean, in terms of flagship stores, you're not going to find many, but overall the mall is big enough and filled with probably everything you'd need anyway. You've got your big stores like Macy's, Dillards, JcPenney inside as well as H&M, Forever21, as well as a Starbucks. Yes, gotta point out the Sbux that's inside the mall. Points for that for sure. Of course there are Foot Locker, Game Stop, Spencers; the mall staples too. You'll even find a nice Gap inside the mall too. The food court is pretty large and has a carousel if you've got little ones. The bathrooms seem to be kept up well as is the mall in general. Since malls typically aren't the place to go anymore, parking is really easy to find. They also have a theater in the mall too so you can catch a flick before/after your shopping trip is over. This mall is located so close to home and yet I rarely visit it. I can go for months shopping at malls and then I switch up and malls become a place I avoid. It does help my shopping experience to feel at ease if the mall is inviting. I love malls that are brightly lit, spread out with enough room that I don't feel like I'm on top of others, with a cool, lively vibe. This mall has a very dreary vibe to it that does not compel me to want to revisit. The halls are dark and they do feel a bit aged. They are however, adding a movie theater which I absolutely can't wait to visit. I think it's going to be an upgrade for them and hopefully it will do something to improve the vibe. During the course of my recent move I shopped here a lot. I mainly visited JC Penny's and Macy's to decorate my new home and buy a few other things for my kids. I always park closet to the entrance located near the store I want to visit, and thankfully parking has never been an issue. On the weekends the mall gets busier and the vibes change up a bit but still there is something lacking. I'm thinking a small change in lighting may help to spruce up some dark areas and bring life to the many dead-spots in this mall. The food court barely has options to eat but if you like burgers, chicken, and chinese food I'm certain you'll find something to nibble on here. read more

Inside malls are likely a dying breed. This mall appeared clean and we entered thru the Macys Mens location (they have two stores here) and moved to other shops. There were many different stores and most are traditional old school shopping brands. Bed bath Beyond, Dillard, jCPennys. A food court and snacks like Pretzels, Cookies, and more exist also. It's fun to walk around a bright clean area and grab some items. Always a store or two geared towards each person in family from kids to perhaps even dads. read more

This mall is just like any other mall it's a bit on the small side they have your usual department stores. Also a Dillard's that's a plus because now a days there arnt very many around. They have some great stores also. And some new ones I never even heard of you can get pampered. Or play gAmes in an arcade so you do have quite a bit to do they are making. A big arcade place inside so that should be fun and entertaining they have selected few food court options but they have chic fila And getting a Popeyes. There is a small Farmers Market located in the mall across from Macy's Men where they have local honey, homemade incense, jewelry, baked goods, baby clothes, plants, and someone selling flowers who also had a bear that was made with white mini roses. It's been over a year or more since I've been here and I don't remember much about coming here -- actually I didn't even think I'd been at this mall before until yelp showed me a previous check in. That's not saying it's a bad mall, it's just not close to me or my regular shopping. It has some major anchors (Macy's, JCPenneys, etc) along with some upscale places mixed in to the usual mall offerings and a number of restaurants, too. This time, I was here for a work assignment and came in about an hour or so before the mall closing. I was surprised at how many people were here shopping at 8 pm at night and how many more people I saw just entering for the first time at that hour. I didn't experience that many stores here as I was otherwise engaged -- not enough to do a whole review of each place -- but something stood out. The salespeople were quite nice. (Just a note: I expected more Spanish than English due to the location and the local population, but didn't experience any language problems. I can speak Spanish and French). At two different stores, I asked about an item I was looking for. Each time, they nicely told me that they were sorry they didn't have it, but referred me to another place in the mall to look. And even gave me some more information to help me in my search. So unexpected and sweet! On my third store try , I found exactly what I was seeking. There were no prices on the item, but the clerk took the time to look it up plus similar items to see which of my selections would be the best price for me. Most of the stores closed exactly at 9 pm. A couple stores that still had shoppers in them, waited until they were through. One ice cream place in the center aisle, was still serving ice cream to patrons at 9:10. I've never seen this at any of the malls I've ever visited. So I guess next time I'm in the area, I'll be making it a point to stop by. read more

The mall is slowly but surely revamping. Although Sears is gone, a bowling alley and sports arcade should be perfect for families to come and have fun. They have closed Subway and Burger King and added Popeyes to the food court, competing with Chick-fil-a. The west side of the mall's stores near the old Sears need some life, because the area is pretty empty. On my last visit I noticed Rue21. The pembroke lakes mall is located off flamingo or hiatus and is very easy to access. They have a movie theater as well there AMC branded. There is an ample amount Of parking spaces as well as a parking garage that is located near Macy's. The parking lot as well as the mall is very well lit and I have never had a problem with any of the workers at any of the mall stores. There is a huge variety of stores to shop for him and a very nice dining pavilion with many places to choose from to eat if you're hungry. read more
