Unfortunately this location (North Shore) is permanently closed. I'm pretty sure the reason was that a developer wanted the land fore more commercial/housing development. I miss the location, it's people who were friendly & did an amazing job every time! The value was amazing too! Please save your self from a very bad experience!!! It will leave you sad for a while until you wash your car again. ANYWHERE else but here. I have never had such a bad car wash job done to my car! It looks like they took bunch of dirty dust rags and spread it around your car. Dirty inside and outside and now my windshield inside is dirty, which was clean BEFORE I took the car into that very bad car wash. Please don't ruin your day, go to any other car wash, but here! It may be family owned but, over the last few years the quality of the final clean has really gone down hill. Covid has not helped the situation. My last clean resulted in the inside front window not being cleaned, 3 rd time in a row. The remnants of a sneeze last summer were still evident. Carpets not vacuumed, front dash not dusted. Door wells not vacuumed. It wasn't until a week later I noticed the side rear passenger window still has Schmutz on the outside. Think of this as a two and a half star review, don't hate it, but don't like it that much either. What I do like about it is probably what works against it ever getting any more stars out of me. It's retro, in case you hadn't heard, and by retro I mean all of Oasis' washing equipment was made in the 50s. I love all the vintage gear, the spinning brushes made of exotic materials, high-pressure wind nozzles and all that sheet metal painted and polished to an impressive level, too bad the finished cars aren't as clean. At roughly $20 per wash (for normal sized cars, nothing too big or too small here, just the Goldilocks) it's a bit pricey, especially if the car comes out less than clean. I watched as several cars made their way across the finished line, still dripping wet in many places and still dirty in others. Their product is not that dissimilar from having that weird kid down the block wash your car in your driveway for $20. Oasis is also a small car wash, as these things go. The total length from hooking up the chain to your car to the cursory wipe across your hood at the end is less than 100 feet and not more than 10 minutes or so in travel time. This is a mini version of the old car washes of the 50s and 60s, the equipment is old technology and the staff is less than enthusiastic about making sure you're happy with your car's wash. Take away here is if you're into vintage stuff, this should be your car wash, just don't let them wash your prized '57 Chevy Coupe, save that one for your professional detailer. For me, it's the vintage look and feel that I like, but it's that old technology and low-grade attention to detail by staff that makes me less than enthusiastic about having them wash my car. read more

Piss poor job! The windows of our Toyota were streaked, the inside panels of the four doors still untouched after the job was complete. A rushed vacuum job, still plenty of crud and debris on the floors. Once the car came through the wash, an idiot whipped the chain up and down several times to release it from the under-carriage of the car that pulled it through the wash. $27.00 for a useless service. Save your money and take your car to a do-it-yourself wash outfit. These clowns are useless! read more

I just visited the car wash today and am so disappointed I am compelled to write a review. I paid $23 for a car wash/vacuum and clean. Unfortunately, I tipped $5 prior to seeing the finished product. The outside of the car was fine; however the inside was lightly vacuumed, mats were soaking wet and nothing was wiped or cleaned (see pictures!). My car was not that dirty to begin with and figured they would wipe down the inside of my car at that price point?! When I asked the guys if they forgot to wipe my car, two men came over extremely aggressively and told me that "wiping out my car was considered detailing, and they don't do that." One gentleman in particular was so close to me, and so angry, that I simply got into my car and left. I am completely shocked and can not believe this car wash is in business. When is the Park Royal Car Wash going to open again?? They have a similar price point, actually clean your car and the staff are lovely! read more

I was sure to remove the spare change in my car before proceeding with wash but I left some polished stones in compartment between front seats. Sure enough, they were stolen by staff. Also the guy who took my receipt at end of wash stared at my chest instead of looking at me. The wash itself was not thorough and missed several spots. I am always impressed by the care and quality of this car wash. I have been bringing my car to oasis for probably 15 years now. Staff are always very friendly and thorough. I always get the wax and, unlike, some of the automatic car washes, they get every spot. It is a little pricier than the auto washes. However, you truly get what you pay for... I use to use this establishment for years. However after my experience today, I will never ever go back. The car was poorly cleaned inside and when I asked them to re do it they told me they not allowed to. They need to get the Manager. The manager told me they only clean the TOP of the Dash and the window, nothing else. He stood arguing with me for 10 min and in all honesty he could have wiped the doors and the dash down in 3 min flat. When I left, the manager try to cut me off by car as he was driving a car into the washing area. Not only did he do that, he shouted at me, gave me the finger and honked. Those scary looking people and the supervisor with a weak leg .. told me that cash machine is broken. We can't serve you. I was warned when I phoned ahead to make sure they were open that they did not vacuum out trunks because they are considered "personal space." Really. . . ? I said. The trunk of the car is more "personal" than the passenger cabin? At any rate, I said, it didn't apply to my car as it's a hatchback. The woman at the other end of the phone said nothing to this. I drove to Oasis. They took my money and washed the car. Approaching teh car and sitting down in the driver's seat, I thought it looked pretty good. When I got home, I checked the area inside the hatch and behind the rear seats. It had not been touched. I phoned and complained. They said that if I drove back there, they would vacuum out the area behind the seats. Unfortunately, I had more pressing matters. I have to say that the parts of the car they did wash looked pretty clean. Just beware of the "personal space" loophole. Charge at the time of this writing was $24.00 plus tax. read more

While I appreciate that this place is very cheap, I would have happily paid double for them to actually wash my car. My truck was just as dirty when I picked it up as when I brought it to them and I ended up having to wash it myself. I'm writing this review because despite Oasis being very inexpensive, it's a waste of time because they don't do the service they sell. I left with berries still on the hood of my car, mud in the back of my pickup and dog hair and spilled coffee in my console. I hate giving one star to any business but I have to for Oasis. When you drive in you have no choice but to pay over $18 for both a vacuum and wash. You can buy a vacuum only but not wash only. In my case I did not need, and did not get, a vacuum but I had to pay for it. Then they drive your car into the washing bay. The equipment is clearly retro - which sounds cool but when the rotating roof brush only covers about 70% of your roof you end up having to finish off the wash at home. The rotating side brushes only get the side panels of your car and seem to miss the bottom 6+ inches of your car, which is the dirtiest part. There are 3-4 guys who are then supposed to hand wash the areas the brushes missed but they moved at a glacial pace and in my case they did not make any effort to get the down low or up high areas the machine missed. They literally lightly ran their washing mitts over the same side panel areas the machine just washed. The guys literally looked incredibly bored and uninspired - I hoped that for $18 there would be a spring to their step and they would demonstrate a modicum of motivation. Nope. So I won't be going to oasis again. I love the idea and the retro feel but at the end of the day I did not feel I got what I paid for and I felt ripped off. I wonder if the owners even read Yelp and understand the damage they are causing to their business... read more

I am new in town, I depended on yelp(er's) reviews so I called and the lady was super helpful and courteous. I came and the guys in orange suits guided me what to do. My car washed and waxed in no time- I waited in the lounge. Very reasonable price for less than $20 my car is clean. I highly recommended this place for a quick wash and for the price, you can never go wrong! read more

Rats. I was so excited to find a place that u just drive up and they do it all. I kind of wondered when it was ready in 15 minutes. Vacuum, clean out, wash and wax. When I got home and looked around in the car it was not a very good vacuum job at all and even the cleaning of the upholstery wAs hit and miss. I guess what do u expect for $21 but I expect a little cleaner. Take your time, clean properly and maybe charge a bit more Seriously disappointed. The crew was courteous efficient and fast. They vacuumed every part of my van and even moved stuff around to get at every part of the carpet and upholstery. All of the windows were cleaned beautifully as well as the dash and instrument panels. I paid $25 for the package including wax. It's a great deal for the price! Compare it to an automated car wash at $16 to do the exterior only. Been using the service at this location for 20 years and will continue to use it! read more

Vacuuming was not done very well. They just basically ran the vacuum over the floor once and left a lot of dirt still. For a couple more minutes they could've done a better job. And my car is very small! There were a lot of streaks from the wash and I had to wipe them down afterwards. The back window was all streaky too. They didn't wash in the wheel wells. For the price it is not worth it. The whole vacuum and wash took 10 minutes, for 30$. I know an auto detailer who says he would've done a much better job , a basic detail for 50$. Please do not go here. My car was damaged on two separate occasions. The first time it looked like a scouring pad had been taken to the body work and there are umpteen scratches. Just yesterday I came home to find that the metallic strip on my door was ripped off and was hanging at a right angle. I have a five voucher booklet for this place and when I spoke with the manager he refused to give me a refund for the three vouchers I have left. I decided to give Oasis a second chance after not such a good experience two years ago. Pleasant enough staff however when I got back in the car after it was cleaned, debris/crumbs were still on the floor, concel, cup holders and door handle slots. I asked for a cloth and finished the cleaning. I spoke to the manager and advised him what had happened (this is why I am writing the review), and he responded, "I don't believe you!". I stated are you "calling me a lier". He responded by stating, " We did a thorough cleaning and I don't understand why you are upset?!". Clearly the belief that the "customer is priority" is not part of this manager's belief system. 2 star rating and that was for the very clean windows, car body and nice staff (ex. manager on duty). read more

I've been going here every two weeks during the summer and I am finally done with this place. For $23.95 it's a total rip off. You are basically paying for an interior vacuum and outer wash that you could do better yourself. Today they didn't even wipe my interior down even a little bit. CARS STAY AWAY! I recently bought a used vehicle that was only a few model years old where the previous owner had kept it in pristine condition, it was essentially like new! Come time for it's first wash as the new owner I took it to Oasis. I had been bringing my previous vehicle here (MDX) with no issues and due to our water restrictions I decided to bring my new car in for a wash as well. BAD DECISION! Once it is vaccuumed, it is brought over to two guys who spray it down and hooks a chain underneath to pull it through the wash. I guess the guy who hooks the chain was too busy smoking to see that the rail they have along the ground to keep the car straight would dig into some of the plastic underneath my vehicle. No huge deal to me but I'd rather they just stopped the process right there as he should have easily noticed when he was down on the ground hooking it up. BUT NO, the real kicker was the little wand that triggers the tire sprayer dragged all along the side of my car and scratched it the length of the passenger side! I had left town the very next morning for vacation so I emailed my concerns to the company, suggesting that they pay for a professional detailing of the car. I hope that a serious wash/wax will buff it right out of there. No reply for over 10 days at which point I emailed again and told them I will NEVER be going to their place of business again. Mediocre wash, very very poor customer service and overall just a bad business ethic in my opinion. BOTTOM LINE: If you have an SUV or a bigger truck and want a very quick vaccuum and wash just to get the job done then you should have no issues (won't be the cleanest wash but hey, it's 10 minutes of your time). If you have a car and you care to keep it in good shape then stay far away from here. The business doesn't care about your car, just your 20 bucks. read more

Went here a few weeks ago and they broke my 2014 Chevy Malibu's drivers side mirror. When I let them know they had broken it they refused to admit it happened and told me I must of broken it myself in a previous incident. I was at the dealer TEN MINUTES before this happened and my mirror was completely fine. The service department at my dealership can confirm there was no broken mirror on my car when I left as they did a walk around checkup of my car before I left. I have receipts showing exactly ten minutes between the dealership and the car wash. I have tried contacting the manager/owner of this place SEVEN times. Every time I am promised a call back that I am yet to receive. I stress I have called SEVEN (YES SEVEN (7)) TIMES and am PROMISED call back that I never get. The receptionist knows me by name because i have called so frequently. I had to pay for the repair out of pocket (as i clearly cannot drive around with a broken mirror) and the owner refuses to even acknowledge my calls. After no reply from this general manager/owner I contacted ICBC who is unable to proceed with this matter because the cost of repairing the mirror is less than my deductible. ICBC did however contact them and they LIED to ICBC saying they have called and left multiple messages for me on voicemail. This is clearly not the case because I have left both my cell phone number and my work number so there is no possible way I am missing these messages. I didn't want to have post this negative review but I haven't received a reply and I don't want anyone using this car wash in case it happens to them. I had been going here 3 times a month for past year, but today was the last straw. Witnessed the manager and a customer being very combative , yelling , swearing, etc. Customer claimed manager broke the drivers seat controls on his brand new Mercedes-Benz SUV. Manager denied it and accused customer of playing games . I am siding with the customer , as I too drive a new Mercedes and every single time I go there, the manager sits in my car as it passes thru the car wash (which is unnecessary) and when I get back in, my seat is ALWAYS out of adjustment from where I left it. They move my rear view mirror and change the radio station. Today they left me to the sound of Raggae music on a station called The Joint. Several times other buttons are pressed and the suspension and transmission settings will be played with. I watch him and he's always in the car being nosey and pressing things. There is a Benz dealer 1600m down the road if he wants to go car shopping. A shame as the two ladies working the cash counter are a delight and the boys in Orange do as best as can be expected for the $18.95 they charge and keep things moving . Until I am sure I never have to look at that manager again, I will not go back , despite the fact it is across the street from where I live . read more

this place is decent for its price if you're not expecting a lot. for a quick $19 wash, it gets the job done. however, my first time here did leave my low profile rims with some scratches. most likely from the mechanical train along the way. luckily it was nothing deep and a bit of compound got rid of the scratches. the wash wasn't super clean. missed some spots close to the plate. as well the interior clean is not very thorough. service is also not great. no greeting, no smile, no gratitude. if you really baby your car, I'd stick to hand washing yourself to avoid the distress from scratch discovery. if that's not a big bother, it is a cheap wash. read more
