this place is horrible. the people are rude, management doesn't care about anything unless you are a dump truck in the parking lot. I have had a problem with my neighbor above me and they have done absolutely nothing to help me except tell me it is a wood structure. oh and there is supposed to be an onsite police officer except they refuse to give you his number quiet time is supposed to be 10 pm to 7 am. it is now 11:30 pm and he is still pounding on the floor this happens every night. I've lived here 8 years. NOBODY knows this property better than me. While this property has been through a horrible transition period, it is AMAZING today. I truly believe it is better than it has ever been. Jennifer and Casenta Management has 100% turned this property around. It is run professionally and literally every issue has been addressed and more. All public areas are consistently immaculate. Most have been completely renovated. Packages are secured and delivered to your door. Fresh paint is everywhere. The elevators run perfectly and have been completely rebuilt. The pool area looks better than ever has is 8 years. My wife and I are so happy we stayed because there is no better view in the entire city. We've lived in country clubs here etc...we see the reviews from before and they were true. DO NOT LIVE HERE. I HAVE GOTTEN TOWED TWICE IN THE PAST 30 DAYS AND ITS $200 A DAY IN THE TOW POUND. Elevators don't work or don't go to all the floors so you have to go to a different floor and then walk up the stairs to your floor. front door doesn't work so anyone can come i. the building which is VERY UNSAFE!!! The owners of the building are very rude and don't take our safety seriously!! If they did, the front door would stay open 24 hours a day. Live here if you want a new problem every day but also have a beautiful view every sunset! There has been dog pee in the lobby for the past day and no one has cleaned it up. dog pee in the elevator every other day and it never gets cleaned up until the next morning. peoples packages are just sitting out in the lobby ready to get stolen from the FRONT DOOR BEING OPEN! read more

Don't confuse The Oasis Condos (Tower 1) with the old oasis tower 2 (now rebranded as Harbor Grand). They are run completely separately by two different management companies. Tower 1 is individually owned Condos whereas Tower 2 is all rental units. Tower 1 "The Oasis" has just had a new roof installed, freshly painted building and the pool deck and club room are undergoing complete upgrades. Let me start by saying the view in the river side apartments is incredible and these apartments could be great. Unfortunately the staff and maintenance crew do not exist. Like many that live here, we moved into an apartment that was not move-in ready and have yet to see a maintenance personnel except during the first week of our stay. The on-site management keeps the doors locked so they are not bothered by the residents. The online portal does not work, and the property management's website is "under repair." Cons: -several broken components in my apartment, have been to the office multiple times to ask for repairs yet no one has come to my place to fix the issues -Hot tub has been broken for months -Pool deck is falling apart -Caution tape around portions of the tower as well as an unsteady pool deck -Dirty elevators, lobby, and dirty/out-dated fitness center -1 parking spot in the garage and one off site (if you can find a spot) -Constant broken elevators, imagine walking 30 flights (with dogs) because the only 2 elevators are out of service The management have consistently blamed the issues on previous management, due to their "abrupt leaving." read more

I have only good things to say about my experience so far. I have been here for almost 2 years and love the location. You are two miles to downtown and the marina and the sunsets are awesome. You have great security and I never hear my neighbors. Management has been responsive so far and no complaints there My only complaint is the raised my rent by around $150 a month after 1 year and stopped including the water. That raised my total rent by almost $200 in a year. If they do that again, I will be forced to leave. read more

There are two buildings behind the gate at Oasis. Tower 1 is all privately owned condos managed by First Residential Services. This building is spotless, the maintenance crews work their tails off 5 days a week. The owners are actively involved in the care and quality of the living experience. Tower 1 is currently enjoying a brand new roof, 100% all new exterior paint. The pool and the club room are being totally renovated. Then there is Tower 2 currently being called "HARBOR GRAND". The owners of this building have a terrible reputation. Please don't confuse the two when shopping to buy. You can not buy in Tower 2! Tower 1 does not allow show term rentals. read more

There are 2 towers and 2 completely different management offices. In tower 1 all the units are owned and Tower 2 is only leasing. If you are going to move here I would suggest renting from an owner in tower 1. The building is spotless, and the management is helpful. I've lived here 4 months and have ZERO complaints. Amenities are great, views are awesome, people are friendly. All these negative reviews have to be for Tower 2. The buildings are completely separate and have there own amenities. The pools are even separated by a fence. 24 hour security, sauna, gym, billiard room, resort style pool, hot tub, assigned parking, impressive entrance, beautiful views, quiet.. I have lived here for years and have loved it up until about 6 months ago (mid 2021), when the buildings were sold to a new owner. New management took over and they fired almost all of the original staff. When I tell you this place is now AWFUL... I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW AWFUL IT HAS BECOME. ***Dog urine and feces ALL over the elevators, halls, walkways. Forget about maintenance requests - repairs will NEVER happen. ***They fired the front desk attendants, so there is no one to direct deliveries (Fedex, Amazon, Doordash) - meaning packages are dumped (literally just dropped in big piles) in the mailroom. I have personally had many packages and GROCERY ORDERS GET STOLEN within minutes of the deliveries because there is no desk attendant. ***The elevators all break on a weekly basis - meaning NO ELEVATORS FOR 33 FLOORS. ***The doors leading from the garage to the floors are broken and the latch hole is taped with duct tape... been that way for 6 months. ***The garages are not secure - I have had a kayak and bike stolen from the garage... from the spot I PAY for. ***The upkeep of the grounds has become a joke, with weeds knee high. Management is absolutely positively not managing anything around here. They sit in their office all day in the nice cool air, laughing it up having a grand ol time while their residents SUFFER BECAUSE OF THEIR LAZINESS! We demand change and no one is listening. Does my car look like it is parked in a none authorized spot? I was towed from there because it is apparently a handy cape spot that the BUILDING MANAGER HAS NOT INDICATED! There is no blue paint to indicate this is a handy cape please don't park here, matter of fact the sign behind it clearly states RESIDENTS CAN PARK THERE! towing company was told by the Fort Myers Fire Department that it is in fact part of the disabled parking next to me, where I was parked it is for the disables ramp to come out of their car and be able to motorize onto the side walk. I complained to management and they did nothing to try to refund us the $200 I had to pay to get my car out. Not until I called Code Enforcement on them and then they put cones out in the spot to prevent people from parking there. But still won't refund us even though I am in the right for parking there because I was informed I could. I understand if it is a handicapped spot and I was blocking someone from getting out but the building managers are at fault for saying and indicating with a big blue sign that says to park there and then refuse to help a resident. Gorgeous views from every window of the apt we are visiting. The pool was fantastic and entire outdoor area surrounding it was perfect. It sounds funny to complain about getting around a condo...but it was embarrassing how many staircases and ramps we had to walk around to find our way back to our door. Exits to outdoors that we can't get back in and keyfob entrances that confuse you even more than the parking lots do.... You need a tour guide, full key ring and golf cart to get around this place. Aside from that humiliation, the indoor and outdoor feel is top-notch. read more

I was going to write a very long review about this place but it looks like a lot of people have hit the main points. Management is horrible, no response from emails regarding very important situations such as getting your vehicle towed by the security people even though they know you are a resident. I lived at that place from 2012-2015 and had a nightmare this last year 2015 I lived there. My vehicle got towed for being in a edge spot. No call from security or anything , like they used to do. Instead , they called towing company and my vehicle was gone, next day about to go to work and vehicle was gone. I had to pay for a cab and 500 dollars later I had my car back and I had to miss work. People who lived there are pretty much trashy especially those who have dogs. Not all of course, but most of them are. There is also several older guys who live there that smoke cigars inside the elevators and when you bring it up to management they do absolutely nothing about it. No pool for weeks and now months and there is a lot of "repair projects" going on all year long , so whoever lives here or plans on living here, all I got to say is good luck. I ended up living there way too long and now that I'm gone , I am so glad! DO NOT LIVE IN THIS PLACE , its an amazing view and building but TRUST ME , not worth it!!! UNLESS they change management completely , this place will continue to be a shit hole in my eyes. Also, my bicycle which was chained up go stolen from the garage, so much for being a safe place to live. AND One more thing, the guy who works in the front desk, sometimes in the leasing office (carlos I think his name is) is a completely Dumb a** , and will not make you feel comfortable with his attitude. From the outside they look nice but let me tell you the hell it's been living here. Susan the manager ( or should I say uneducated construction manager) who is now the property manager has let this promising place left to fail. The whole staff (turnover rate is mind blowing) absolutely hates her. She is childish and has not one professional bone in her body. I would rather live in the hood down the street(walking distance) than pay another wasted cent to this establishment. There is no security Dirty grounds and elevators that smell like smoke and warm beer. Section 8 or low income housing is now being accepted there so you will be living next to a room full of people who do not care about your living standards or you. Large amounts of college kids live there now and are completely trashing the place. Also nothing works. I can go on on how horrible this place is but let me tell you this the management (Susan) is by far the worst I have ever seen. Kudos to her for maintaing her job because I have no idea how she keeps or even got the job for that matter. If you currently live here you have to contact the offices in canada or the regional manager. Let me know and I can provide you with the numbers because i have them memorized now. It is overpriced and I learned the hardway that you can get a much better spot for half the price. I thought the higher you pay the better the service and quality of people. Don't live here unless you want to have your car towed. Management is extremely poor and must have some inside deal with a local tow company. I have had my guests' cars towed 3 times in 9 months. Once, they towed my grandparents' car out of my own garage parking space (even with a parking pass displayed on the dashboard) and made my elderly grandfather call a cab to go all the way to retrieve his car. The geniuses who built the place ran out of money before they could build enough parking structures. Even if you live in a three bedroom condo, you are assigned only one parking space. With no overflow parking or surrounding lots, this causes tension between residents and the Oasis management. The manager actually had to get a restraining order for one resident. If you are looking into renting or buying a condo at Oasis, definitely ask extensively about your parking situation. Other than that, expect curmudgeonly geriatric "owners," beautiful sunsets, and a concerning mixture of gunshots and police sirens from the adjacent Martin Luther King neighborhood. read more

My wife and I moved into this property (Tower 2) due to a few key 'perks'. Amazing building and amenities, rental option, great security (I travel weekly so, wife at home alone..), and pet friendly (a 'park'/field next to building for walking). First, the previous reviews are spot on (except the one about the pet owners being trashy; a lot of very nice people/professionals and many friends made in the two years we stayed here). The *Management* IS horrible here. My wife and I are business professionals, educated, and live responsible upscale lives. The Property Manager tested our morals and patience in many occasions...and yes, our cars were towed as well. Turn over on staff is a regular occurrence and now, most will not even respond to you in English. The *Amenities* appear wonderful but, don't be fooled on the tour. Smoke and mirrors. The pool has been under repair for the past year and a half (leaking into townhomes and garage below). The gym is constantly being repaired. There is NO service elevator so, you will be forced to move in/out on a week-day between 10-5 in non-cooled standard elevators (which requires a $500-1000 deposit). If your professional movers take a minute past the deadline, you will be forced to shift your move to the next available date (elevators availability). Moving out is even more joyous....good luck on getting your deposit back. Susan, the Property Manager, places so many requirements on you, you might as well either have a Contractor come in and make the place new again, or just give up on the $2,000..save yourself the sweat and heart troubles! *Maintenance*...oh my! The A/C and water in the building seems to be shut down at least 5 days a month. You'll receive an email informing you that either will be turned off sometime in the coming days from 9am-5pm...gotta feel for all the Nurses / Dr.'s who live here with strange hours! The Management has recently informed some tenants (who've complained of $400-600 rent hikes) that the building is not making money. This money issue is obvious due to the cut-backs in certain maintenance expectations; the water schedule for the grounds has been cutback (check out the burned grass!), the A/C is now set, at what feels like, 80+ degrees in the public areas (real tough if you like to use the gym!), the pool pump is only on when they're showing to prospective tenants, the cleaning schedule has diminished, the elevators are constantly broken/filthy, the security doors/key entry are always broken....I promise I could go on here. I stress the elevators because you're sharing two with a 128 other units (half the building) and these are used for moving and do not have A/C or a fan within. *Parking*....this would normally not even be something I consider when entertaining moving into such a beautiful building. Well; you are given 1 parking spot inside the parking garage under the building. If you require a second spot, it will exist either in the lot that is about 200 yards in front of the building (must arrive at odd hours to acquire one of the few spaces here) or in the 'boat parking lot' which is a HIKE and said to be off Oasis Property, allowing the opportunity to get towed (which we learned too late that the Property Management has a relationship with a local tow company....KICKBACK). All guests must park even further away which truly makes friends and family think twice before visiting. If this 'book' hasn't convinced you to look past the view (which is why I give 2 stars), then I'm sure you'll be happy here......or maybe you might consider reading more reviews! :) If and when you view this property, make a point to walk over and chat with someone who lives here. There's bound to be a friendly tenant walking a pet or coming in or out. Believe me, it'll be worth the brief awkwardness. Amenities are good. Nice pool, workout room, and sauna. Would I move here again: Yes. Staff: Friendly. I like and respect them. Maintenance: I've had two maintenance issues since I have been here. Both resolved in a very timely manner. The negatives: Elevators (on somewhat rare occasions one will be down). Also 3-4 times a week between the hours of 9 - 5 pm, one is reserved for people moving in or out. I do understand the need for this though. Parking is limited. I pay for a three bedroom condo, a little on the pricey side. Since I'm single, I only get a single car spot. read more

Let me begin by saying the so called "property manger" Susan Pace-Greer is outright the most unprofessional, rude, trashy, and spiteful person I have EVER had to deal with. I spent 2years living at the oasis which was much to be desired. The security gates malfunctioned one night slamming down on the roof of my brand new car. When I presented this problem to Susan she quickly became short and defensive. I merely wanted this issue to be resolved and taken care of in a reasonable and progressional matter. Instead she basically made me jump through hoops just to get an insurance claim from the property insurance. I waited 4months to get my car repaired bc of her unprofessionalism and lack of organization. Another incident that had occurred was them misplacing my rent check for the month of January of 2014 When I spoke to Susan she said they were in the middle of doing audits (not my problem) and that I should rest assured that they had my rent check. I called Susan multiple times concerned bc I hadn't seen the check deposited. Susan said not to worry and confirmed that she had the check. She's a liar. 3-4months later I come home to find an eviction notice on my door. I once again provide her with yet another check and a copy of the previous check they lost. Ultimately I decided to break my lease and move out. Susan flat out told me that she was going to make it her mission to make my life hell, that she would make it a point that I don't receive my security deposit back, and she would make my moving experience impossible. Upon my moving day Susan's behavior towards me and my movers was completely unprofessional, erratic, and 100% juvenile. She was throwing tantrums in the lobby harassing my movers and attempted to blame us for damaging a door that had no damage done. Moving there was the biggest mistake I've made and a complete waste of time. Ultimately I went far beyond and above Susan's head and contacted the regional manger Tom. I did in fact get my deposits back after months of fighting Susan's bullshit. Bottom line is they have a constant turn over of staff bc dealing with Susan is a nightmare and it is completely unorganized. You're better off living in a section 8 housing in the worst of the worst ghettos than living there. People smoke in the elevators that are almost always out of order and the residents dog's urinate everywhere. Susan is nothing more than a construction worker. How she got a management position is beyond me. She's uneducated extremely rude and defensive for no reason. If you want to meet lucifer himself(herself) than please feel free and go in to chat with Susan. You can't miss her she's the one with chronic bitch face and just radiates evil. I have lived here for almost a year (tower 1). The place is beautiful and the view amazing. The downside is there are not enough staff members to run such a large complex well. Off season the building is practically empty. No real security at night. I have had a very noisy neighbor the past 6 months and have had very little progress to try and get it stopped. People are loud at the pool and kids are basically unattended while parents sit and do nothing. One summer the most obnoxious family was at the pool every weekend. Loud music, kids splashing tenants. They did not even live in the building. They are beyond strict o some things and other things you just have to live with. It's great in many ways, but at this point with a neighbor who has no regard for his neighbors and nothing is being done, I could leave tomorrow. read more

They receive one star only because the view is nice on the west side. The other side of the complex faces the ghetto which is nice if you enjoy watching the pretty police lights. I've had the unfortunate experience of living here for two years. The parking is absolutely horrible. You are assigned 1 parking spot in the garage and the other person unless you live alone has to fend for themselves. Which I didn't think would be a big deal until I tried lugging groceries from a quarter mile away. During season don't bother moving your car because you will never find a spot again. However they do offer a second spot in the garage for the low low price of 100 dollars a month. On top of the 1700 I give them a month in rent you'd think they would lower the price....not going to happen. The management team is probably the worst bunch of people you can possibly put together. The marketing people never return your calls, there is never anyone at the front desk anymore since Marvin left. If you order a package don't be surprised if you never see it because they don't hold packages behind the front desk anymore. Their website boasts a "state of the art" fitness center. I'm sorry but there is nothing state of the art about a treadmill in a closet. When you do get fed up and move out plan on another few weeks to a month in additional hassles. They will try and make your life absolutely miserable until you are gone. It doesn't matter if you leave your apartment spotless they will steal your security deposit or as much as they can. Don't bother having guests come to visit you because they will get towed or they will never find a spot. I had one guest in two years come over and she was towed in a matter of a few hours and it's 150 dollars to retrieve your vehicle (cash only) after that I never invited family or friends over again. I could go on and on about the horror stories but I think you get the point. If you like the downtown area you have a few different options along palm beach.
