We love it here. We're a neurodiverse family and when we started coming to Stephanie years ago, she took her time and gave my boy some TLC. He went from being scared to asking me to take him in to her. She is great at quick, nice boys haircuts before they get squirrelly!! She always is on time and sweet. We love her. She cares about people and it shows. My son loves to see her latest collectible or fidget at her station. Plus, she cuts my hair as well and listens to me. My hair is longer and straight so it's not too hard; she has great products for my hair type that smell good if I need anything. Always pleasant and quick. I love that I can use Apple Pay. read more

I went to oasis to get roots done and a trim. I walked out of there three hours later with an a line which means I lost 3 inches of hair in the back which took me two years plus to grow. My color she didn't like what I wanted so she did what she wanted and blended my hair with blonde when I wanted to only have a couple streaks in my hair. What really upsets me is it took her three hours to mess it up this badly I now have short hair and a-line cut which I hate and my hair is more blonde than I wanted. This is the 3rd Oasis Hair I've tried and by far the worst. Stephanie hurriedly cut my hair, hacked my sides up and sent me on my way without even a look at the back. I asked them to do my hair for my wedding. When I went in for a hair trial appointment a couple weeks before my wedding, my hair dresser was so confident she could curl my hair that she told me not to worry about doing a trial to save money and sent me home. Big mistake on my part to trust her at her word. On the day of my wedding, she curled my hair and pinned it up. She told me not to take the pins out until the first reveal photos. I followed all her instructions to a tee. As soon as my mom pulled the pins out, she said "Honey, your hair is completely straight." So then after the wedding my sisters, who are not professionals, curled my hair and it looked much better. So their professionals can't even do basic curls. She also left a weird bump on the side of my hair and didn't bother to fix it. I called Natalia, the manager, and she said they "Don't do refunds." Not only did they ruin my wedding day, but they won't even own up to it. Now they won't answer my phone calls or respond to my many voicemails. I was here today for a basic simple haircut and highlights. The cut I showed turned out not even close to what I wanted and the highlights were very pretty. I ended up being there for 7 hours!!! My appointment was for 11 and I walked out of there a little after 6 pm. The manager offered this "stylist" no assistance the entire time. They were completely fine with me being there all day! The total was $153. She didn't offer a discount and no one apologized for the insanity of this stylist. I think he is in the wrong profession read more

Nice and clean salon! Mallory is awesome and has styled my hair a few times. She has curled it and styled it for my friend's wedding and my birthday. She cut my sisters hair and did an awesome job. No complaints for a style it's $9 and for a haircut it's $12. Can't wait to go back. read more

I am not originally from Washington and had been looking for a good hairdresser for quite sometime and then I found Amber at Oasis. She was so easy to talk to, went through everything she was doing to my hair, also educated me on how to style it myself and what products worked best for this particular cut. She is GREAT!! What I liked most about her, is the fact that although she obviously has the education, experience and know how and could be working in a high priced Salon, she's working at a Salon that isn't expensive and is still giving A+ SERVICE. One thing for sure: this place has really gone down hill. I've been coming here for over a decade, but no I am done. It was pretty good when it opened up. Lately (even before the lockdown), the customer service has fallen-off. The haircuts themselves are average--it's the customer service that did make the difference. With people waiting, it seems they move in slow motion. Elements of the final straw: back in August, I was told that they are not using the points that a customer stores up anymore. The stylist did not know if it was temporary and from now on. After a decade, I have quite a lot of points, so that severs that reason for staying; today, the computer was down so no online booking. Upon arriving, I was told 15 minute wait. After about 30 minutes, when one customer attempted to pay with a card, the stylist stated that they were only taking cash. No sign posted, no mention of this point upon arrival . . . Owner/manger, heads-up: your place is going down fast. Get your equipment fixed . . . Sunday is a very busy day! read more

Horrible experience as I have to be on three medications for second degree burns to my face neck and ears from a perm performed by oasis. I wouldn't recommend getting a perm here. They spend about 5 minutes on a hair cut and during that 5 minutes they act like you are inconveniencing them by being there. I always brush my children's hair before we go there, and every time they tell me it's "ratty". It's not ratty, I brush it and braid it, they just want to do as little work as possible. I have been there several times and only twice have I enjoyed the beautician. The rest of the time I have found them to be snooty and unpleasant. I think they all act like they are too cool to work there......but they do work there.....so deal with it and be nice. Maybe the reason you don't work at a better salon is because your attitude stinks. read more

I received a called from the General Manager today. The response I got from this review (they looked up my info from my appointment, not through Yelp fyi) was really impressive. The manager sounded genuinely sincere in resolving the issue and making an effort to change the bad taste that had been left from my experience. It was refreshing to see a business really care about their customer service and follow through on a complaint. I initially felt really bad about posting a negative review, as it's not really me, but in the end it turned out to be a good thing, and my view of Oasis has been restored to a positive one. In the end, I love my hair and the stylist did a great job with the new technique. Lesson learned here- communication is important as always and from now on I will be more inquisitive in pricing before services are rendered just in case!! read more

I made a appointment for 11am with Christa - I arrived at 11 and she was working on someone, so, I waited. When she was done she started to take someone else. I then approached the counter and told her I have appt and had in hand my confirmation on my phone. She did even look at my phone and said, Well, these two are together so do you mind if I take her first? hmm...I didn't want to make a scene so, I left. I then call and spoke with the manager who said "Well, we take walk-ins so, if someone isn't there for the appt time, they just can't wait for me to get there, so that is why they took someone else.." hmm, odd, since I was there at my scheduled time, so I am not sure what she meant by that. This is extremely unprofessional and if it was reversed, I am wondering if they would have understood if they were pushed aside. I made an appointment fair and square and they should have recognized that. I decided not wait nor make another appointment as I didn't want to run the risk of a bad haircut because I was complaining. It felt like they made it my fault. read more

I made a appointment online to have my hair cut. It said there were 3 stylists working. I saw 2 and when 1 finished she disappeared in the back leaving one. They were already 20 minutes late for my appointment and still had 1 person ahead of me. If you are going to do online appointments then keep it updated.
