Really clean and well stock had everything I needed. I forgot soap and dryer sheets and they offer some here already.

    From the dryer

dryers have metal exposed ripping clothes. something is always in the dryers that causes stains and only god know what else. Staff and owner just says they aren't responsible. Place is trash. Last time I'll be here. just to add 2 loads of laundry washed and dried is like 20$. kinda pricey to be rushed.

Nope nope nope. So much nope that I've run out. I have an oversized quilt that doesn't fit in the washer at home so I took it here, with the intent to give it a quick wash & dry. I arrived with a pocket full of quarters, only to discover the machines run off of proprietary chip cards, which cost $3 just to buy. (This $3 is NOT loaded onto the card for use) Ok, so I shell out for the card and wash/dry time. I'd forgotten the detergent at home, so I head to the dispenser, only to discover the dispenser was sold out of -every- product. Mind you there's a paid attendant on duty, but apparently reading his book was more important than restocking and cleaning. The facility is moderately clean...ish. It is very run down, however. For example, all of the signage indicating the size of the washers have some combination of glue from old, previously-removed tape, hand-written supplementary signage (for example a note that says "This Machine Washes 3 Loads" on the sign that already says "3 loads" and "Triple Load" There's a playroom area for kids. It's pretty dang sad though. There's a quarter-fed bouncy horse like you might see in front of an old gas station, as well as some preschool-kid toys. There are some vending machines and a jukebox, as well as a pool table, and gross looking ironing machine. There are also several folding tables. Back to the vending machines: I sprung for what I thought was a bottle of soda, but despite the image showing a bottle, the machine dispensed cans. Yet another disappointment. There are a large supply of machines available, but at least 18 machines were broken. That is about 2-3 per row.

Wasted $25 washing close and the clothes still felt dirty and had soap. They barely got damp. Not worth washing here.

I think there's parking in the back of the building as many customers disappeared going that way :) Anyway, the washing machines and the dryers were really clean and looked newish. The washers range from $3.50 to 9 for the biggest washers. The washing machine cycle runs 29 minutes. If you opt for a heavy wash, there's an additional charge of $0.50. Dryers are $1 for 40 minutes. Our clothes came out looking clean. The dryer dried out clothes for $1 each load. The space itself was spacious, well lit, and clean.

A few months ago, when our dryer finally gave out after…read moretwo decades, I spent four hours washing all of our loads and headed to this coin laundry because we've been here in the past and prefer it over others. They have huge dryers that heat like they're supposed to and there's never been a time that they weren't all in full operation. For this reason, it only takes us one hour (after dividing everything up into three large dryers, including our bedding) to finish all of our loads. I always recommend taking your hangers, as their rolling baskets have metal poles and it just makes it easy to store everything when you get back home; not to mention your clothes remain wrinkle-free! What I like most is that the attendants are nice and they keep the place serviced and clean, including the bathroom. They empty the trash bins and pick up the dryer sheets that some customers are so careless in not picking up when they remove their clothes from the dryers. It is a huge liability to step on one and fall; so, I suppose that might be the major reason why they're on it (Idk). What I like least is the parking situation. There aren't a whole lot of spaces upfront or out back on this highly trafficked corner of Commercial Boulevard and Dixie Hwy. If there was a way to expand the lot, they would have even more customers. I was finally able to purchase a brand new dryer, but as convenient as it is to throw a load at night and go to sleep, for instance, it's also inconvenient to dry one load at a time. I can get more loads dried in less time here and I will still come and do my comforters, rugs, sneakers, etc.

I'm on a motorcycle so lugging laundry isn't easy. Listen up owner of Rainbow Laundry! Your whole business is geared towards washing machines and dryers that function so that people like me can get their clothes clean. Second to that responsibility of yours, timing. You're wasting my time which is valuable because I only have a limited amount of it to do the laundry that I need to go to work and be presentable in a way that I can keep my employment. But instead, you have washers and dryers that don't function properly, waste time, and have attendants who don't know how the washers function. Granted they're very nice. But that doesn't solve my laundry problems. The first problem was one of the regular washers and trying to get the coins in, which got stuck and wouldn't start the washer. The attendant didn't know how to do it. Next, I had to switch everything to another washer on the other side. He did replace the OxiClean that I had bought, then I started the washer, set a timer, then sat outside for the next 24 minutes. When I returned to take my freshly cleaned work shirts out to put in the dryer, the washer was flashing and had never worked. The attendant was standing in front of it cleaning and blocking my way. It took him several times for me to explain that I had already put money in and waited 24 minutes only to find that it hadn't worked! So finally he moved it to another one, replaced my OxiClean for the second time today, moved it to another washer and started it. Now I'm sitting here 40 minutes of my time wasted! Not to mention the first 15 to 20 with the first washer load that ended up not working. Here's my point to you and I need for you to listen... You have responsibilities to make sure that all of those washers and dryers are functioning properly. ITS YOUR BUSINESS! While Im at it, why do you make it so difficult and complicated to get quarters?! If you have a $20 bill you're out of luck. You have to go somewhere else and buy something so that you can get change from a 20 to put into the changemaker to get quarters. Come on. The year is 2026. You could have this entire joint running on Apple Pay alone. People don't need coins anymore. There are all kinds of set ups that you could set up which would ensure that you had a better functioning facility. Will I come again? I have to. This is my only choice in the neighborhood. If not, I have to drive for miles. On a motorcycle. You need to stop being so cheap! Fix this place up and modernize it so that the rest of us can get our time back and enjoy it along with our clean laundry. And for the record, this in no way reflects on the attitude of the attendant. If you don't train them properly, how could they possibly know how to fix the washers, which are your responsibility?
