When I raised the concern, instead of taking responsibility or offering a reasonable resolution, the company dismissed the damage entirely, hid behind "industry standards," and claimed the changes were within "normal tolerances," despite the fact that the garments were materially altered and unusable. What was especially frustrating is that a prior issue with a different garment had already occurred, which they acknowledged at the time by offering compensation as a "courtesy." Now, faced with a much larger and more obvious loss, they refused any accountability. I expected professionalism and care commensurate with handling expensive clothing. That was until I found this place. The woman who does the alterations understood perfectly the look I was going for and executes beautifully. Not only that, but she works with me to make sure I always have my clothes back in time. Not only that, but I think they do their dry-cleaning in-house so after dropping my clothes off for a cleaning, they are ready 1-2 days before most places that have the clothing picked up and dry-cleaned off premises. But today I am empowered to express my disappointment with Save On Cleaners. In a nutshell, they did NOT have my rush ready Monday after 5 pm as promised, for a very important business trip of my husband's. I prepaid plus was charged $2.00 extra a piece for rush which I was wiling to pay as part of my need for clothes for an early Tuesday morning flight. Monday at 6 pm I arrived to find clothes were not there. They apologized and said the girl who processed order never wrote RUSH although I paid the extra. I stayed "mistakes happen." and was promised next morning and a full reimbursement. Next morning picked up clothes on the way to airport. No refund yet. Came in to get refund. Denied. Called back to seek refund. Told I was guaranteed % refund. They said 100% it will be ready Tuesday morning. Called Wednesday for refund. I was told they would NOT refund. I said not only will you lose a customer but you will lose my respect. They refused to accommodate me. It's simple manners, relationships and honesty. It looks like "they took me to the cleaners."

In this, I also found out that they send you an e-mail when your order is done. Needless to say, that's exactly what happened. When I came to pick up my order, which was a dress, it was lovely. It was clean, packed well, and I was pleased. I did find the price a bit pricey compared to my old dry cleaner in Hialeah, but it is what it is. I ended up, too, speaking to a seamstress there about a top I had gotten fixed elsewhere. I told her I didn't know whether to further fix it or not. She had me try it on, quoted me a price, and then actually spoke to me about the pros and cons about whether or not it made sense to fix it further. Given the material, how often I plan to wear the top, and the price itself to fix it, the seamstress was honest and told me it didn't make sense to fix it. Nevertheless, she would if I wanted to. This went on for half an hour or so, and well, that level of attention and care, even though I didn't end up getting the top fixed, convinced me of my return. When I have something that actually is worth altering, I'll go to them. They actually care about their customers unlike the other place I went to. Not to mention that they did a great job on my dress. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the price, but even then, I'm sure I may change my tune in the future if they continue to provide exemplary service.

If business hours are posted, customers should be able to rely on those hours. Another thing customers should understand is that the cleaning is not actually done at this location. The items are picked up and taken elsewhere for cleaning, which may contribute to some inconsistency. As far as the actual service, I would rate the cleaning about 8/10. However, the pressing/ironing is closer to 5/10, especially with white coats, where the quality and attention to detail could definitely be improved. I have continued giving this location opportunities, but between closing earlier than the posted hours and inconsistent pressing quality, there is definitely room for improvement. Few of the employees are good here. ( Bh saying all of this, if the employee opened the door and said, all the registers are closed and they apologize. This would be ok. THAT DIDN'T HAPPENED)
