I went in a Friday afternoon. I did have to wait about 15 minutes but once the service began it was totally worth the wait!! I am picky with pedicures and by far the one I received was hands down the best! It says A LOT since I never leave reviews good or bad. Stopped in here on the recommendation of my mom, she frequents the place monthly and it was close, so I was able to get there easily while visiting her. When I walked in there were 2 ladies waiting, and me. All the techs were busy, I waited about 30 minutes. I was given a bottle of water during my wait which was nice. One of the ladies waiting before me, didn't want to wait any longer so she left. I was given to Miko, who had an appointment booked for 2:30, I was seated with her at 2:pm to get my nails colored, but first she had to remove the previous dip polish job. That alone took 25 Minutes. Lucky for me her appointment cancelled. Miko is exceedingly proficient at her job, She took her time and made sure my nails were both shaped to a shape I liked, and chose a color for me that would be better than the one I chose. All in all, it took about 1.5 hours but my nails look good. The gel polish I chose is sparkly and bright, the nails are well shaped and even in color, they're a glitter and that can be hard to achieve. She took her time with me and I'm very pleased with the results! read more

I have been going here for quite some time...but will no longer be going to this establishment. They do terrific work and I've always been happy. But the last two visits were not that great, and yesterday was the icing on the cake. I had an appointment for a manicure & pedicure. I was taken right on time. This tech must have been new. I'd not seen her before. It took her 90 MINUTES to complete the pedicure. After that, another technician did the manicure. When I was seated at her station, she spent about 3-4 minutes cleaning her eye glasses. She then started the manicure and after approximately 30 minutes, she says she'll be right back. After about 20 minutes I asked another tech where she disappeared to. I was told she was in the back doing waxing!!! Are you kidding me??? When she came back she said sorry. No, that is unacceptable and poor business practice. She said "It was only one time" and I said "That is one time too many". You don't take another customer while you're in the middle of working with another. If I was in a salon and under a hair dryer or waiting while a color treatment was being done on my hair, yes of course, tend to another customer. I told her it was unprofessional and inappropriate and I will no longer be returning. My appointment was at 3:30 and I did not get out of there until about 6:45pm!! Obviously they do not need my business. They offered no resolution or compensation for the inconvenience they caused me. This was also the same tech that did my manicure & pedicure at my last visit before this and she used a different shade of polish on my fingers than on my toes. I kept telling her and showing her they were DIFFERENT shades and even the numbers of the bottles were different and she still insisted they were the same. Loved this place! My step mom took me here for a pedicure. We both got the ocean spa pedicure with gel polish-- I had my previous gel removed and it was quick and relaxing. Very clean with nice massage chairs. My gel pedicure has lasted me about three weeks now with no chip and is still super shiny, my step mom also likes getting her brows waxed here!! This place is very slow. It takes over an hour and a half to get nails gel polished or dipped. The wait time is also very long so expect to spend over 2 hours here for any single service. I have tried this place more than once because it's near my job, but today was the last day. They have extremely poor customer service. Do not waste your time at this nail salon. read more

This place is terrible and they discriminate against service dog handlers! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I have been here once before for an acrylic set and pedicure and I was not happy at all. It took way too long, my nails came out really bad and lifted quickly. The pedicure I got was the upgraded one and it seemed like I got the regular one. So I decided not to come back. Well, my friend went there today and they deneyed her service because of her service animal (who was completely under her control and acting correctly). They told her that the dog couldn't be there because "people don't like it" She has it all on video and is going to press charges against them. Do not give them your money! read more

I tried Oasis and had gel nails done. I was very pleased. Went back for a second time and the gel nails broke down in days? Very poor work. But decided to go and get my eye brows cleaned up. The woman that took care of me was very young. She kept asking me if i was nervous!! I told her know you are trained correct...After she was done i looked in the mirrow and half of my eye brow was missing and a piece of the other eyebrow. She acted like nothing happen. This place is extremely busy!!! The owner is nice and all the nail technicians are also. I've been here about 3-4 times and my nails have lasted the full 2 weeks with the exception of one time. I wanted to be fancy and added rhinestones however I wash my hands every 2 minutes where I work and they started chipping Day 2. I let them know and went in to get them redone for free. Only con is you always have to wait for a chair. They try to fit everyone in and give you refreshments and apologize. This place gives one of the best pedicures I have had. Seems like they give a longer massage than other places. Clean. I am a regular here. Affordable competitive prices. Down side is even with an appointment your going to wait 15-30 minutes. I wouldn't come without an appointment, you will be waiting an hour at least. I don't know why they don't hire more people. This place could be a gold mine. They have 8 nail seats and like 12 pedicure seats but only 4 people generally work here. read more

I have to be honest. I don't know why people rave about this nail salon. It's not a BAD nail salon as nail salons go. It's clean, it's decorated nicely. It's got about 8 pedicure chairs, lots of techs waiting for walk ins, about 6 tables for manicures and a decent amount of services. The prices are cheap enough and you scarcely have to wait to be taken...but therein lies the problem. If you are a bit of a nail snob like I am, you aren't going to want to use this place. They use the cheap acrylic, the whitish kind that is very flimsy and cracks very easily and looks terrible on French manis. They don't interact with you much, so if you want your nails a specific way (ie: rounded as opposed to squared, cut short instead of left the length they already are, thicker as opposed to thinner) you better let them know before they start working on you. They aren't going to ask. They are just going to tell you to pick a polish, take a seat and go to town on your hands. I have never been in Oasis before, but I had to get my nails filled. They were looking like CRAP because my usual tech at another salon was booked solid and I simply had no alternative. Yes, they took me immediately and yes, they were completely done with my fill in about an hour and 15 minutes which is MUCH better compared to my tech who REALLY takes her sweet ass time doing my nails. But, my nails look like, well, worse crap. If you want cheap prices and quick service, they are great. However, I like an "experience" and personal attention when I go to the salon. I don't even know my tech's name because he never said two words to me. What I will tell you is: 1) He apparently had a cough that day. At least three times, he coughed on my hands without covering his mouth. I asked him to please go let me wash my hands each time he did it, which annoyed him, but I was pretty grossed out. I asked him (after the third time) to either put on a mask or cough into his sleeve, please. However, the next time he coughed, he did cover his mouth...but he covered it with his hand and then, went to go touch MINE again. I pulled my hands back and said, "now, you go wash YOUR hands". I managed to get through this entire season without a cough or cold. I wasn't going to get taken down by a sick nail tech in the name of beauty. 2) The nail polish is all OPI if you look at the BOTTLES. However, when I used the restroom, I saw one of the tech filling up OPI bottles (polish that is about $8.99 or more a bottle) with SIMILAR color polishes by Wet and Wild or Sinful (you know, the NINETY NINE CENT kind?). I actually believe that the polish I chose probably was one of the ones they did this to as my polish chipped after less than a week on several of my nails. OPI polishes generally hold up extremely well on my hands. I am no domestic goddess. I don't cook or clean. I am very easy on my hands. This polish looks like utter garbage. I generally bring my OWN polishes to the salon because I have this germaphobe thing going on that I don't want a million peoples germy fingers in my polish. Since my stop at Oasis was a last minute thing, I had to use their polish. I have no doubt that it was a garbage polish dumped into an OPI bottle. 3) Their top coat is utter garbage. It is NOT a good gel coat or UV top coat, despite the fact that they stick you under the UV lights to dry. My top coat bubbled up and turned my polish from a nice nude to an ugly gray hue. 4) The place is chaotic. There were about a dozen women there with their screaming kids running all over the place. Of course, since all the moms were in pedicure chairs, all they could do was just scream across the room at their kids to "Cut the SH*T!" Not exactly relaxing. To give you an idea of the clientele that frequents this place, one child actually grabbed the spray nozzle from the pedicure chair, hit the button and sprayed two customers right in the face and then ran off laughing. Mom was gabbing on her cellphone completely disregarding the customers who got wet. The techs just kept their heads down and kept working. At very least, you should be telling Mom to get off the phone and get her little beasts under control. It was very uncomfortable to say the least. 5) Midway through the mani, he dumped a ton of lotion on my hands for a hand massage. That's fine and all, but a heads up would have been nice. I would have liked the option to have removed my freshly cleaned wedding rings. While Oasis is far from the worst salon in New Port Richey, it's not a place I feel inclined to return to. Cheaper? Yes. Faster? Absolutely. However, I would rather pay more and stay longer to get exactly what I want. For me, this was a 1 star deal. But, if you are all about the no wait, cheap and fast? I'll give them 3 stars, just for you. Consider it a gift. read more

Came into this place based off reviews. It was nice, clean and relaxing inside. The music was soothing and I actually started to fall asleep during the massage. I had chosen a neon yellow and when it was put it on it was very underwhelming so the tech went out of her way to find a more vibrant yellow and repaint it. Without me asking her to. The only down falls were the following: when we arrived there was only one person available, they suggested to come back in 30mins. When we did, two more people had been seated and still only one person was seated. Im used to using salons that open a brand new package of tools in front of me. I didnt see where they grabbed their tools from but at least it wasnt right after they were used. I asked for reflexology but apparently didnt have time (maybe for appointments coming in) but the person who was specialized in it was just milling about the store. I will go back. read more
